Based on MEMS technology, this paper realized the chip preparation of the synchronous initiation array and obtained the ideal process parameters. The MEMS multi-point exploding metal foil synchronous array chip replaces the traditional initiation array composed of electric detonators, and has a greatly reduced volume and could be prepared in batches. By testing the electrical explosion parameters of the array chip, the peak voltage, peak current, peak time and other data of different ignition voltages are obtained. At the same time, we proposed a method to test the synchronization of the array using multi-channel photonic doppler velocimetry, and obtained the synchronization data when the firing voltage was 2500 V and 2800 V, which provided help for the subsequent optimization design.

There is the need for the use of biodegradable optical filters. This concept of this work is to solve the problems of electronic waste and enhance spectra filtering in photovoltaic (PV) module. The extract of the Ixora plant was used for this experiment. The extract was doped with 0.05 m of copper. The voltage peak analysis (VPA) was used to analyze the chemical stability of the filter. It was observed that the filter was chemically stable at certain time of the day due to temperature variations on the PV module.

This paper introduces the versatile of an electrokinetic technique by using the non-uniform electric field for dielectrophoresis (DEP) application. This technique is defined as electromicrofluidics. The potential application for portable and real time detection method of Enterococcus faecium (EF), Staphylococcus aureus (SA), Klebsiella pneumoniae (KP), Acinetobacter baumannii (AB), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) and Enterobacter aerogenes (EA), which are the (ESKAPE) bacteria. The MATLAB analytical modelling was used in simulating the polarisation factor and velocities of bacteria based on Clausius-Mossotti factor (CMF). The validation of CMF simulation through the DEP experimental can be quantified based on the response of alternating current (AC) voltage applied using 6 voltage peak to peak (Vp-p) to their input frequencies from 100 to 15000 kHz. The droplet method was deployed to place properly 0.2 μL of sample onto DEP microelectrode. The velocities and crossover frequency (fxo) ranges of bacteria were determined through bacteria trajectory in specific time interval monitored by microscope attached with eyepiece camera. The applied range of input frequencies from 100 to 15000 kHz at 6 Vp-p for each bacteria were successfully identified the unique ranges of frequencies response for detection application. The advantages of this works are selective with rapid capability for multidrug resistant (MDR) bacteria detection application.

This paper focuses on using lime, orange, and tangerine waste as fuel for the generation of bioelectricity. The tangerine microbial fuel cell evidenced a maximum voltage peak of 1.1 V on day 13, while displaying abrupt voltage losses on the following days and throughout the remaining period of substrate monitoring. On the other hand, orange-based fuel denotes lower current generation during these 28 days with values close to 1.6 mA and 0.25 mA on the first and last day, respectively. Still, orange generated 3.5 mA on the first day with values sharply declining in the following days until reaching 0.91 mA on the last day. In general, substrate volumes in the microbial fuel cells diminished over time, which is consistent with the voltage and current values reported. In addition, pH values increased from day 1 for all substrates, reaching acidic pH values on the last day of measurement due to the consumption of carbon sources. Tangerine reported the highest current density (CD) at 72 mW/cm2 and a maximum voltage of 1.06 volts, while orange generated a CD of 62.5 mW/cm2 and 0.94 volts.

Improvement in the efficiency and cost in the high frequency inverter will play a major role in its applications like electrical vehicles (EV). A high voltage IGBTs are used in inverters to bear the voltage peaks across the IGBT switch at the turning off period of switch. By decreasing the value of voltage peak, can reduce the voltage rating of IGBT switch, by which the system cost will decrease. Decreasing the value of voltage peak can be achieved by decreasing the inductance of the inverter circuit which includes turned on switch inductance, DC link capacitors inductance and connecting wires inductance. By replacing the connecting wires with a laminated busbar in an inverter, the inductance value of a connecting wires can be reduced. Laminated bus bar is a parallel conductor plates separated by a dielectric medium. Upper plate is considered as positive plate and lower plate is a negative plate. In this paper it gives a detailed information about laminated busbar with different designs, using different conductive materials, their calculated inductance in ANSYS 3D FEM software and concluding with suitable laminated busbar for high frequency inverter.
