Integration of learning tools with information technology can enrich the learning experience, including in learning physics. This research is the development of kinematics learning tools assisted by Phypox to support the improvement of scientific thinking skills. The scope of kinematics material is horizontal straight motion, vertical straight motion, and circular motion. In this study, the initial design process and design evaluation were carried out. Evaluation of the initial design was carried out by five experts and data were collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis used Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). The analyzed aspects include six indicators, namely: the functional relationship between components, component completeness, work order, practicality, efficiency, and effectiveness. The results of this study indicate that the initial design of the kinematics learning device is in a good category (CVR = 5.60; CVI = 0.93). Thus, this learning tool can be further tested on relevant students. The impact of the use of this tool will not only increase science skills, with certain learning strategies it can also grow the skills of working together and critical thinking.

The research aimed at investigating the improvement of students’ interest in studying physics to students of class XI IPA-1 at SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja of Bone by utilizing outdoor study method in teaching-learning management. This study was a classroom action research consisted of two cycles of teaching-learning management which covered: (1) the planning, (2) the action stage, (3) the observation stage, and (4) the reflection stage. The collected data covered: (1) the data result of studying physics before conducting the treatment, (2) the data of students’ interests in studying physics, (3) the data result of studying physics of cycle I and II, and (4) the data result of observation/teachers’ notes on each of research cycles. Those data were obtained through questionnaire on the students’ interests in studying physics, the test result of physics cycle I and II, and students’ observation sheets. The data then was analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of the research shows that there is improvement in studying physics both in cycles I and II to students at SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja of Bone, the average of the mastery level in studying physics is in high category, and the readiness, the willingness and students’ activeness in following the learning process was improved. The analysis indicated that there was improvement of students’ interests in studying physics at SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja after conducting the teaching-learning management by utilizing Outdoor study method.Keywords: Outdoor Study Method; Kinematics Physics; Interest in Learning Physics; Learning Outcomes Physics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja Kabupaten Bone dengan menggunakan metode Outdoor Study dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang terdiri dari 2 siklus pengelolaan pembelajaran yang mencakup: (1) perencanaan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) tahap observasi, dan (4) tahap refleksi. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi: (1) data tentang hasil belajar Fisika sebelum pelaksanaan tindakan, (2) data tentang minat belajar Fisika siswa, (3) data tentang hasil belajar Fisika siklus I dan siklus II, dan (4) data hasil observasi/catatan-catatan guru pada setiap siklus penelitian. Data tersebut diperoleh melalui angket tentang minat belajar Fisika siswa, tes hasil belajar Fisika sebelum pelaksanaan tindakan, tes hasil belajar Fisika siklus I dan siklus II, serta lembar observasi belajar siswa. Data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja Kabupaten Bone baik pada siklus I maupun pada siklus II, rata-rata tingkat penguasaan materi belajar Fisika berada pada kategori tinggi, dan  kesiapan, kesungguhan dan keaktifan siswa mengikuti proses pembelajaran semakin meningkat. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja setelah dilakukan pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Outdoor Study.Kata kunci: Metode Outdoor Study; Fisika Kinematika; Minat Belajar Fisika; Hasil Belajar Fisika.

<div align="center"><table width="645" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="439"><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This research examines the increase of students’ ability in working with graph. This research is conducted by involving 58 students in class X SMA Negeri 5 Malang as the subjects. Students are given kinematics learning by making models of various representations including graphics. The ability of students are assessed using multiple choice questions in graphic format. The improvement of students’ ability is observed from the average score pretest and posttest. The analysis shows that there is a significant increase (p = 0.00) with the results of the N-Gain calculation of 0.25 including the medium category. Students are able to change the understanding of graph after learning even though the WYSIWYG effect is still very influential on the way students interpretation graph.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Penelitian ini mengkaji peningkatan kemampuan siswa bekerja dengan grafik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan subjek 58 siswa kelas X SMA N 5 Malang. Siswa diberikan pembelajaran kinematika dengan membuat model berbagai representasi termasuk grafik. Kemampuan siswa diukur menggunakan soal-soal <em>multiple choice</em> dalam format grafik. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa ditinjau dari skor rata-rata <em>pretest</em> dan <em>posttest</em>. Analisis menunjukkan ada peningkatan signifikan (<em>p</em>=0,000) dengan hasil perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,25 termasuk kategori sedang. Siswa mampu mengubah pemahaman tentang grafik setelah pembelajaran meskipun efek WYSIWYG masih sangat berpengaruh pada cara siswa menginterpretasikan grafik.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

The objective of the research was to analyze the most appropriate approach to evaluate kinematics learning of first semester students in Engineering Environmental Biotechnology School of Chemical Sciences at the Escuela Superior Politecnica of Chimborazo. To do this, a theoretical framework was established based on didactics and curriculum theory. The investigation was correlational, explanatory and field. The Delphi method was used for consult of experts, who contributed synergistically to give a suitable answer to the research problem. A non-random sample of 24 students from a population of 68 was considered. To test the specific hypotheses, the Chi-square test statistic was used determining that the most appropriate kinematics evaluation approach to apply in the experimental group is by results through indicators of cognitive and affective domain, which positively affects the performance of students in the context of research. Because evaluation is a learning tool and an action-oriented organizational process to improve academic activities and obtain better results in the future, it is recommended to contrast evaluation by learning outcomes with evaluation by objectives or competences.
