Based on the impact of climate changes, our concern arises in this scenario and the entire building is exposed to different climatic agents such as the rain itself, which can negatively impact the overall performance of the construction. Waterproofing is an essential requirement for buildings for residential, commercial and industrial use. Aspects such as the geometry and the materials with which the structural roof systems (slabs) were obtained play a fundamental role when choosing the most effective waterproofing system to incorporate into the building. Therefore, our main approach is to list the various waterproofing systems most used today for the protection of housing roofs since a knowledge of these systems will trigger a correct procedure, control and care in waterproofing, which results in a conservation of the building.

In this paper, composite materials reinforced with natural fibers were studied, such as: Jute (MC-RY) and Manta (MC-RM) as a proposal for new materials for the manufacture of a prototype for automotive defense. The materials were manufactured as laminates and characterized mechanically through stress, bending, impact and Brinell hardness index tests. The results indicated that both reinforcers improved the mechanical strength of the matrix by up to 71%, as well as the impact energy absorption by 14%. The mechanical properties for MC-RY determined in flexure (bending = 56 MPa, Eflection = 4.16 GPa and maximum = 14 mm) were used to perform an impact simulation in two different models created in SolidWork, the results indicated that the MC-RY could be used for the construction of the defense using 3 layers of this material.

The large increase in COVID-19 cases that continue occurring in Mexico has generated the need to learn more about the damage caused by this virus, for which it has been proposed to carry out a statistical study of the 164 ray images database X and 29 laboratory studies provided by the Salamanca State Center for Critical Care (CECCS) of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 and not COVID-19, the purpose is to analyze if there is any correlation between X-rays and laboratory studies. First, the entire database was organized by patient, both for X-ray and laboratory studies. Afterwards, the statistical process of the laboratory studies was carried out. Subsequently, we worked on the selection of patients with a greater number of X-rays, segment of these the area of the lungs, since it was our area of interest. In these radiographs, the statistical process of entropy and box-and-whisker plot is performed. Finally, the results of some laboratory studies are correlated with the entropy and box-and-whisker plot results.

Objectives. Among strategies used to improve the photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide (TiO2), coupled semiconductor has been widely studied. Bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) semiconductor has been highlighted, specially, with hierarchical structures (3D), because it has been shown to have higher performance in the photodegradation of organic dyes in wastewater. Therefore, in this work the degradation efficiency of acid orange 7 (AO7) was studied using TiO2 (P25 Degussa), synthesized BiOCl with hierarchical structure, and mixtures of them as photocatalysts. Methodology. BiOCl was synthesized by the solvothermal method. The BiOCl was characterized by different techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In addition, the pore distribution and the surface area were determined. Photocatalytic experiments were carried out with a photocatalyst dose of 1 g‧L-1, initial dye concentration of 50 mg‧L-1, and UV light illumination. Contribution. The interaction of P25 Degussa with BiOCl microspheres (75/25, respectively) improved the photocatalytic degradation achieving a 50% degradation efficiency.

Server virtualization is a technological innovation widely used in information technology (IT) companies. Virtualization provides a platform to run different operating system services in the cloud. It makes it easy to build multiple virtual machines on a single basic physical machine, either in the form of hypervisors or containers. To host many microservices applications, emerging technology has introduced a model consisting of different operations performed by smaller individual deployed services. Therefore, the demand for low-cost virtualization techniques is developing rapidly. There are many lightweight virtualization technologies; Docker is one of them, which is an open-source platform. This technology enables developers and system administrators to build, create, and run applications using the Docker engine. This document provides performance evaluation of Docker containers and virtual machines using standard benchmark tools such as Sysbench, Phoronix, and Apache, including CPU performance, memory performance, storage read/write performance, load test and measurement of operating speed.

A computational tool is developed to measure the local deformations in optical surfaces from the interference patterns obtained by the Chalmers test principle and from the analysis of a reflective optical surface using a commercial Fizeau interferometer of the ZYGO. The tests were made on a concave spherical mirror with a radius of curvature of 60 cm and a diameter of 13 cm. To obtain the measurements of local deformations, a computational tool proposed for the localization of dark fringes is used by evaluating the maximum and minimum of the image obtained in the interference patterns. The results obtained show that the computational tool allows locating fringes within an interference pattern, allowing faster inter-fringe measurements and assigning an error on the surface in terms of wavelength.

Disposable diapers are the modern solution to keep babies' skin dry and clean since they are efficient, a single diaper can keep a baby clean and dry for up to eight hours and they are effective due to the manufacturing materials that are waterproof, flexible, resistant and highly absorbent. While these are advantages to the layered design of the disposable diaper, they become barriers that prevent degradation. In Mexico, 14% of the solid waste generated corresponds to this waste. In the present work, a systematic and exhaustive review is made of the trends, regulations, and regulations that govern the commercialization and possible improvements to the disposable diaper considered a product whose usability is highly accepted and disseminated. The foregoing to prospect the development of this product and orient it towards a more sustainable future to manage the relevant innovations and changes in the regulations that correspond to disposable diapers in the framework of development: social, economic, and environmental that raises the 2030 agenda.

The dynamic behaviour of a 32 MW gas-turbine generating unit, connected to the 23 kV main busbar of a substation, is analysed in this article. The study is focused on the representative faults occurring in an electrical system and allows the determination of the maximum times in with a fault must be delivered to maintain the stability of generator. A three-phase power network is modelled with the Alternative Transients Program (ATP). Simulation results are reported and analysed for typical variables of interest such as machine rotor angle, frequency, and power. According to the study results, machine stability is greatly affected by three-phase faults, as compared to the dynamic behaviour under single-phase faults. The analysis carried out is useful to improve and maintain the security of operation of the electrical grid and in aligned to the current regulations and recent reforms of the Mexican electric sector. The fact that the performed study was usually not mandatory but has been pending since the commissioning of distributed generation plants in the Central Mexican Region is emphasized.

A photovoltaic solar power supply is presented; it supplies energy to the electrodes of a wastewater treatment prototype by electrocoagulation. The source will be able to supply three voltages levels 10, 20, and 30 volts, with a current of 1000 mA. The system consists of an array of solar panels and Nickel Metal batteries. The amount of energy to be supplied by the solar panels is estimated, the level of storage in batteries is calculated and fed to the electrocoagulation system. The results of an experiment that operates independently of the power supply line and that works in rural areas are presented.

This research aims to identify the relationship between the deterioration of constructions and restoration systems that will allow their permanence. The method applied to this research is qualitative in nature to publicize the maintenance systems that will allow the recovery of adobe constructions and recognize the technical richness. Qualitative research allows us to establish the observations of the social world, considering the experiences of the community, so that they can obtain information about their values, experiences, practices, customs and traditions. All this to come to issue solutions that do not attack your social environment and your urban image. The stages of the research were: fieldwork linking access to the field with productive data collection; data analysis in a continuous review that consisted of reducing information, disposition, transformation and obtaining results and verifying them to reach conclusions. Finally, the preparation of the report generated various approaches, and one of them produced the theme of this work whose contribution is that it identifies the constructive systems that can serve to generate new lines of research to promote the conservation of traditional architecture.
