Our aim is to study interaction of cerebrovascular diseases and peripheral blood ,to find new methods for prevention of this diseases .Materials and methods. 100 people was taking part in this study, among them 55 was men and 45- women ,aged 18-75 year. They all where diagnosed with brain stroke at acute stage. One hour after stroke amount of neutrophils sharply rises (2-3 times more than norm) and it is directly linked to size of stroke . Because of that when lacunar ischemic stroke have had happened the amount of neutrophils is not raised, however when circulation syndrome is seen the amount of neutrophils sharply rises and it depends on size of stroke.

Dementia is a general term used to describe a loss of memory that keeps getting worse - or is 'progressive'. There can be many different causes, they will all involve loss of memory, but they have other symptoms which are different according to the cause. Dementia often starts off with just memory problems, but can also involve: difficulty planning and carrying out day-to-day tasks, difficulty communicating and changes in mood, judgement or personality. Aim of this article is to identify spread of dementia in 200 patients who have not been diagnosed before . Research was done in ONCO center of Adjara during 2014-2015 , involved 200 patients , female-130 , male-70, . For diagnosis of dementia we studied anamnesis, physical data, psychic and cognitive development of patient, family members were questioned often because of the difficulties patients had to explain symptoms they experienced. All patients had CT scan and evaluated bey Vavilov Method. Arterial Hypertension ,Discirculatory encephalopathy -171, Cancer-5 , Parkinson disease-10 , endocrine disorders-14 , family history of dementia -3 were noted in patients . From 200 patient examined 170 were diagnosed with dementia , Light dementia(10%). experienced memory deterioration Average quality dementia (55%) , During severe dementia (35%). Some risk factors for dementia, such as genetics and age . Cannot be changed. but researchers continue to explore the impact of other risk factors on brain health and prevention of dementia.

Oncological diseases are one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. The problem is quite topical since the number of patients with cancer is a sensitive theme. At present, there are about 20 million people having the disease all over the world. Hence, the number of elderly people with the disease is about 10-15%. The purpose of our research was to study dementia in cancer patients. The study was conducted in the Batumi high-tech hospital (Batumi Oncological Center). 100 patients aged 25 to 75 participated in this study. Among them, the 60 patients were female and 40 were male. At the same time, only 45 patients were operated on. Of these, 16 patients were operated after chemotherapy, 4 patients after radiotherapy and 35 patients during combination therapy. 6 patients with lung cancer, 22 patients with breast cancer, 6 patients with skin cancer, 7 patients with gastric cancer, 4 patients with bladder cancer, 15 patients with ovarian cancer, 25 patients with uterine cancer were examined. In the study, three of them had the family history of dementia. We studied the patient's medical history, physiological data, assessed their mental and cognitive functions to determine the diagnosis of dementia. We studied the patient's medical history, physiological data, assessed their mental and cognitive functions, mini-mental state examination, and carried out a survey of family members as the patients often had difficulty precisely describing the symptoms to determine the diagnosis of dementia. Out of 100 patients, 20% of them had mild dementia, 44% - moderate dementia and 35 % - severe dementia. Among the patients examined, dementia was not observed in 1%. Computed tomography of the brain was performed on the examined patients. Cerebral atrophy, a decrease in brain mass and volume in 34%, cortical atrophy in 60% of patients and the expansion of the ventricle system of the brain in 35% were revealed in the pathomorphological picture. The atrophic process is strongly expressed in the pariental (17%), frontal and temporal lobes (76%). Therefore, dementia is quite common in cancer patients with severe and moderate depression, predominant in 79%. Dementia was not observed only in one case, which is very important. The researchers point out reversible dementia after chemotherapy, which is reversible after a while. Community involvement has great importance for the treatment and psychological adaptation to the new reality of cancer patients. It is necessary to develop educational programs aimed at providing assistance from the moment of diagnosis to the end of treatment.

Early and proper diagnosis of arrhythmias is important. However, there is a limited knowledge and skills in identifying and caring for patients with life-threatening arrhythmias among medical students. The aim of this study was to compare 6th year MD program students' pre-post-training knowledge and the ability to detect life-threatening arrhythmias. 140 6th year MD program students took part in this study. Evaluations were performed before and after training in cardiac arrhythmias. Results: The majority of the participants received a high level of knowledge in identifying life-threatening arrhythmias on the ECG strip. Modern teaching methods improve the learning achievements among students.

In our opinion, the obtained results show that the level of UBC cytokeratin determined in urine reflects the destruction of tissue by the tumor to a greater extent with deep invasion and with large tumor sizes. We believe that a decrease in the sensitivity of the UBC test in detecting recurrence in patients after TUR, in comparison with the sensitivity of the UBC test in patients with BC prior to treatment, is associated with an initial level of cytodestruction in the relapse of BC. The level of serum cytokeratin TPA largely reflects the onset of metabolic changes in the tumor focus. It is the combination of UBC + TPA tests that gives rise to true-positive results and a reduction in false-negative results, which increases the sensitivity of the method.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is the global problem. This disease has negative effect on patients' quality of life. Worldwide the Missoula-VITAS Quality of Life Index scale (MVQOLI) is used for examinations of the quality of life (QoL). The aim of this study was to examine QoL in hemodialysis patients using the Missoula-VITAS Quality of Life Index-15 (MVQOLI-15) in one dialysis center in Tbilisi, Georgia. The sample study consisted of 272 patients (12 female, 160 male; age 18-80) undergoing hemodialysis. Data were collected by MVQOLI. The total MVQOLI-15 score in our study was 16.43, which is slightly above the middle of the index scale. The majority of HD patients rate their QoL as “Fair”. Interpersonal relationships, well-being, and transcendental experiences are factors that have a greater impact on the quality of life of hemodialysis patients than other factors. The study should be expanded and conducted not only in hemodialysis patients but also in CKD and ESRD patients in order to provide adequate intervention as soon as their quality of life deteriorates.

Virtual CT colonoscopy is an accurate, highly informative, and less invasive method of examining the colon. The predominant and additional positive ability of virtual CT colonoscopy is the ability to detect non-intestinal pathologies. Based on the high sensitivity and specificity of the method to the developmental abnormalities of the colon, diverticula, polyps, cancer and other volumetric formations, we can conclude that virtual CT colonoscopy is one of the main methods of diagnosis and screening for diseases of the colon.

In recent years, the survival rate of patients after liver transplantation (LT) has improved significantly. However, successful transplantation is directly related to the proper management of the patient after surgery, including considering essential aspects based on the results of laboratory tests. Therefore, it is essential to study the laboratory characteristics to investigate the functional state of the liver. In the present study, we investigated the indicators of liver function in postoperative patients: alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), albumin, total bilirubin, gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT). Venous blood samples were used for investigation. A total of 10 post-transplant patients were studied. Appropriate research methods were used. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Overall, our results have shown that intensive examinations of the liver panel in postoperative patients significantly contribute to the proper management of the complicated patient, which directly impacts the final results. Notably, the variability of GGT and ALP may be directly related to the transplanted chronic immune response of the liver and may be used as an early marker for the diagnosis of biliary complications.
