A positive school climate will produce high-quality human capital, while teachers ’commitment is a driver to achieve goals. A conducive school climate can increase the commitment of teachers in ensuring the success of educational institutions. Therefore, the study was developed to examine the relationship between school climate and teacher commitment. Teachers were randomly selected from 18 high-achieving secondary schools in Kelantan, with a total of 360 respondents. A cross-sectional survey method was applied to collect data. The questionnaire consisted of 44 items. IBM SPSS software was used to analyze t-test, correlation, and regression. The t-test analysis obtained differences based on study variables according to gender. The results of the analysis show that the level of climate is different based on the gender of teachers. Findings of Pearson correlation analysis confirmed a positive and significant relationship of weak correlation variables for school climate and commitment (r = .24, p <.01). Next, regression analysis of the influence of school climate on teacher commitment showed that R2 = .06, p <.01 was significant. The beta values indicated that school climate contributed 0.24 (24%), which significantly influenced commitment. The findings of this study suggest a significant relationship of school climate to increase teachers ’ self-commitment. This study also makes a significant contribution to the theory and expansion of knowledge by explaining the role of school climate in increasing teacher commitment.

The Ministry of Education Malaysia aims to develop an educational system that is capable in improving achievement and innovation. This goal requires high commitment and precision from all parties, especially teachers that play the main role in educational institutions. Thus, a positive school climate will produce high-quality human capital, while self-efficacy acts as a driving force to pursue the goals. The effectiveness of these two elements enhances the commitment of teachers in order to ensure the success of educational institutions. This study was developed to examine the relationship between school climate and teacher commitment, as well as the indirect relationship through self-efficacy as a mediator construct. Teachers were selected randomly from 18 high-achievement secondary schools in Kelantan, with a total of 360 respondents. A cross-sectional survey method was applied to collect data. The questionnaire consisted of 44 items. The IBM SPSS software was used to analyze the correlation and regression tests. The Pearson correlation analysis confirmed positive and significant relationships between the three variables, namely the weak correlation for school climate and commitment (r=.24, p<.01), as well as between school climate and self-efficacy (r=.23, p<.01). In contrast, the correlation was high between selfefficacy and commitment (r=.85, p<.01). Regression analysis for the effect of school climate on teacher commitment showed that R2=.06, p<.01 was significant. The beta value showed that the school’s climate contributed β=.24 (24%), significantly affecting commitment. Multiple regression analysis of school climate and self-efficacy on teacher commitment confirmed that R2=.72, p<.01 was significant. However, beta values showed that school climate contribution decreased to 0.05 (5%) and did not significantly affect commitment as the self-efficacy predictor was included in the regression model. The beta value showed that self-efficacy contributed 0.84 (84%), significantly influencing commitment and acting as a full mediator variable for school climate and teachers’ commitment. The finding of this study proposes significant school climate relationships to enhance teachers’ self-efficacy and commitment. This study also contributes significantly to the theory and the extension of knowledge by explaining the role of school climate in enhancing teachers’ commitment, as well as highlighting the mediator role of self-efficacy that has a significant effect on teacher commitment as well. Therefore, the school administrators should provide a better, condusive school climate to encourage higher self-efficacy among teachers, through self-confidence in group guidance, student assignments, innovative education and attitude towards homework. As a result, teachers could have more opportunity to develop their commitment to schools.

The present study aimed to comparatively analyze healthcare delivery perception among rural dwellers based on education (formal/informal) and gender. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design. A total of two hundred rural dwellers comprising males and females participated in the study. Perception towards health care delivery was measured with a self-developed instrument with demographic information. An independent t-test analysis found no statistically significant relationship between education and perception towards health care delivery. However, the result revealed a significant relationship between gender and perception towards health care delivery. Females were found to show a more positive attitude towards health care delivery than their male counterparts. The findings and conclusions are discussed.

The study is aimed to identify the relationship between gender and race with needs motivation in academic performance for secondary school students. A survey method through questionnaire was used to collect motivation score and demographic of samples. A total of 400 form 3 students from five different secondary schools in Skudai, Johor were selected as respondents using a stratified random sampling technique. The David McClelland Motives questionnaire was used as a research instrument, in which it covers three main domains of motivation, namely needs of achievement, needs of affiliation, and needs of power. Inferential T-test and Pearson correlation were used to test the hypotheses. The T-test analysis stated that there was no significant difference between gender and race with motivation scores. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a weak significant positive relationship between motivation score and student's academic performance mean score. In a conclusion, need motivation has an influence on students’ academic performance. Teachers should assimilate a variety of teaching styles and encourage students from time to time to motivate them to strive for excellence.

Aims: Farmers of Bangladesh use a less amount of urea fertilizer compared to the nutrient requirement and soil fertility status.  Hence, a significant gap between actual and recommended doses of fertilizers used by farmers have been reported in many instances. Therefore, this study assessed farmers’ performance towards fertilizer application, and explored the contribution of selected characteristics on that performance. Study Design: This study employed a cross-sectional survey method using a correlational and descriptive research design. Place and Duration of the Study: The study was conducted in twenty-one villages of Gaibandha district in Bangladesh during 17 July, 2017 to 20 September, 2017. Methodology: A total of 355 farmers were selected as sample using multistage random sampling. Data, collected using structured questionnaire, were subjected to descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression for describing the level of selected variables, their relationships and their contributions on farmers’ performance, respectively. Results: Most (45.9%) of the farmers had high level of performance regarding fertilizer application. Farmers’ age, household size, educational level, farm size, training received, extension media contact, knowledge and attitudes of farmers had positive and significant relationship with their fertilizer application performance. Regression model explained 45.3% of variance of farmers’ performance where age, household size, farm size, training received, extension media contact, knowledge and attitudes of farmers were found significant predictors of farmers’ fertilizer application performance. Knowledge was found to be the most contributing factor followed by age and training received. Conclusion: The study concludes with recommendations that are expected to improving fertilizers application scenario of Bangladesh.

Objectives: The aim of this research is to know about the correlation between calcium levels and mandibular height and length in elderly patients from panoramic radiographs. Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional observational study, using 15 panoramic radiographs of patients aged 60-80 years, where each subject is taken calcium levels. Radiographs were analyzed to measure the length of the mandibular body and the height of the mandibular ramus. ImageJ software is used as a measuring tool, and the results are then correlated with the Pearson correlation test analysis. Results: This study obtained the average result for mandibular length was ± 10 cm and for mandibular height was ± 7 cm, while the calcium value showed an average value of ± 8.7-10 mg/dl. Pearson correlation test showed no significant relationship between mandibular length and height and calcium levels in the elderly. Conclusion: The conclusion drawn was that there is no significant relationship between mandibular height and length on calcium levels in the elderly as assessed by panoramic radiographs.

 Objective: This study has been conducted with the aim of assessing the risk management category and its status in hospital from the perspective of senior managers in Urmia hospitals considering the existing scientific gap and the importance of the issue for the health system and society.Methods: This cross-sectional research was conducted in all 12 hospitals in Urmia. Participants in the research included 37 senior hospital managers. Data gathering instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire with Likert scale. Content validity and reliability of the tool (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient) have been also measured in a similar study. This tool has been designed in two parts: Demographic specifications and items (44 questions). Kolmogorov-Smirnov, ANOVA one-way, independent t-test, and Spearman tests were used in SPSS 20 software for statistical analysis.Results: The average of total score of all risk management components was equal to 3.0445, which is in moderate level. According to ANOVA one-way test, there was no significant relationship between the organizational status of managers and their education level with any of the risk management components. Furthermore, it was specified using independent t-test, there is no statistically significant relationship between gender and risk management components. It was specified using Pearson correlation test; there is a statistically significant relationship between gender and education level as well as individual’s organizational status (p-value: 0.001).Conclusion: Studied hospitals have suffered from the lack of risk management. There is not enough knowledge in this regard among senior hospital managers, and therefore, due to the importance of this issue, needed policies and programs should be provided to all hospital managers and needed supporting and education should be provided in regard to the implementation of risk management measures.

AbstractThe pressure on businesses to engage not only on profitability but also on social and environmental responsibility has increased in recent times. The study empirically tested the relationship between green marketing orientation (GMO) and environmental and social performance in the context of firms in the hospitality industry. Sustainable performance measurement focuses not only on financial but also on social and environmental performance. The study used the quantitative research design, and the cross-sectional survey method was used for data collection from 192 respondents. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis were used for data analysis. Cronbach’s alpha was used as a measure of reliability. The results indicated a significant positive relationship between GMO and environmental and social performance of hospitality firms. The findings of the study suggest that GMO is a firm-level strategic resource that can improve the sustainable performance of firms in the hospitality sector. Theoretically, the study linked GMO to environmental and social performance of firms. Empirically, the study adds to the literature on the effect of GMO on sustainable performance. Practically, the study suggested recommendations that can improve the adoption of GMO by firms. These include green design, green positioning, green supply chain, and green strategy.

<span>This study aimed to examine the influence of curriculum and school climate on the academic attitude of </span><em><span>tahfiz</span></em><span> (memorizing Al-Quran) students in Sabah, Malaysia. A total of 81 students (age 10-12) from three private </span><em><span>tahfiz</span></em><span> primary schools around Kota Kinabalu were involved in this study. This quantitative study used cross-sectional survey method by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The questionnaire was developed by the researchers to suit the unique environment of the </span><em><span>tahfiz</span></em><span> schools and has gone through the process of validity and reliability. Descriptive analysis showed that student attitude variable showed a high level of mean score (above 3.80), while for school climate variable, the finding was at moderate level (Mean=3.56, SD=0.530). As for curriculum variable, most students learnt the same main subjects as studied in government-aided primary schools, with addition to Quranic subject. However, no one learnt Computer Education subject. Multiple regression analysis showed that only the school climate variable significantly influenced the academic attitude of </span><em><span>tahfiz</span></em><span> students (R2=0.251, Beta=0.503, p&lt;0.001). This study will be able to provide useful information and benefit for the improvement of </span><em><span>tahfiz</span></em><span> institutions in Malaysia.</span>

The current study aimed to explore the relationship of Triguna model of Indian psychology, and Anasakti with respect to meta traits of personality as well as affect.A cross sectional survey method was adopted for the current study and it was conducted after approval by the institute ethics committee. A total of 84 males between the age of 18-50 years with a minimum of 10 years of formal education were selected from colleges and various organizations. The study was approved by the Institute ethics committee.Vedic personality Inventory, Big five aspect scale, Positive and negative affect schedule, and Non- attachment scale were used in the study. A quantitative statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS. An integration of the Indian model of personality with the western concept of general factor of personality (GFP) was carried out here and Sattva was found to be positively correlated with the general factor of personality. Anasakti was also moderately correlated with the general factor of personality.

This research aims to examine students' adaptive attitudes and self-regulation in online Mathematics learning. The study was conducted at Getas II State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were students of Grades I, II, III, IV, V, and VI of Getas II State Elementary School, the total respondents who were successfully collected were as many as 51 students. This type of research is quantitative with the method used in this study being a cross-sectional survey method. Sampling techniques use saturated sampling techniques. The instrument used is an online questionnaire. The analysis of the data in this study used descriptive statistical calculations. The results showed that students' adaptive attitudes and self-regulation did not have a significant relationship
