COVID-19 drove universities throughout the world forcing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to go online or virtual. Admissions advertising and student recruitment were two of the sectors that were severely hit. Internet-based advertising has to entirely replace the old advertising environment. Although certain institutions were still able to conduct virtual tours, forums, and information sessions, the amount of involvement differed among colleges and universities. An exploratory study was conducted to investigate how effective Internet advertisements were in influencing students' admission decisions. During the academic year, 2020-21 at several institutions in India's western region, data were collected using the snowball sampling approach on 930 freshly enrolled students. The findings show that the efficacy of Internet ads for university admission is negatively correlated with the student's age group. Surprisingly, the study discovered that both rural and urban students were equally interested in online ads, and that family background had no impact on receptiveness to internet advertisements. After a long break, research on entomophylic fungi has been restarted in the Prymorye. Earlier surveys showed an exceptional species diversity of the territory - about 70 species. This is 20-25% of the total species number known in the world. This group of fungi is given unjustifiably little attention in our region. They significantly affect the dynamics of insect populations in the ecosystem. In addition, the use of compounds produced by entomophylic fungi in medicine is gaining increasing popularity. We studied 31 samples from the collection of entomophilic fungi of the Far Eastern Regional Herbarium (VLA). The analysis of the obtained data allowed us to clarify the distribution and diversity of entomophilic species in the Region. Data on the distribution of Cordyceps deflectens, C. militaris, C. takaomontana, Ophiocordyceps crinalis, O. nutans, O. sphecocephala, O. tricentri and O. variabilis have been clarified and supplemented. For O. tricentri data on the spectrum of host insects are expanded.

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Indonesia's export and import activity in the Asian region. Data on exports and imports from February 2019 to March 2020 (before the pandemic) and from April 2020 to May 2021 (during the pandemic) was collected from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency portal. The results show that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic does not always decrease Indonesia's exports and imports in countries in the Asian region. For exports, out of 51 countries, only 18 decreased significantly, 14 countries decreased insignificantly, and 19 countries increased. On the import side, out of the same 51 countries, only 11 experienced a significant decline, 24 countries experienced an insignificant decrease, and 19 countries experienced an increase. The Indonesian government must implement various policies that can protect and encourage exports by providing fiscal stimulus, diversifying trading partners, deregulation, and industrial downstream, among others. Further research needs to be carried out on how the effects of the pandemic changed import and exports according to product type and how the severity of the pandemic affects within a country affected export and import activities.

Abstract Introduction: During the initial Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic wave, sparse personal protection equipment made telephone triage of suscpeted COVID-19 patients for ambulance transport necessary. To spare resources, stable patients were often treated and released on-scene, but reports from Italy suggested that some later detoriated. We implemented a prehospital sit-stand test to identify patients in risk for detoriation. Methods The test was implemented as part of a new guideline in stable suspected COVID-19 patients younger than 70 years with no risk factors for serious disease triaged by general practitioners to ambulance response in the Central Denmark Region. Data were collected from April 6th to July 6th 2020. This was a two-part study evaluating guideline adherence and results of the sit-stand test. The primary outcome of each separate part was 1) the proportion of patients sit-stand tested before treat-and-released and 2) the proportion of patients treated with oxygen within 7 days among patients decompensating and not decompensation during the test. Results Data on 156 patients triaged to ambulance response by general practioners were analysed. In total 86/156 (55%) were tested with the sit-stand test, among these 30/86 (47%) were either older than 70 or had risk factors for serious disease. Of those treated and released, 50/52 (96%) were tested. In total, 17/86 (20%) decompensated during the test and of these, 9/17 (53%) were treated with oxygen compared to 2/69 (3%) in patients who did not decompensate (p < 0.001). This difference was only significant in the elderly group of patients with risk factors for serious disease. 10/156 (6%) of patients had a positive COVID-19-test. Conclusion The sit-stand test was implemented in 96% of patients treated and released on-scene, but was also used in elderly patients with risk factors for serious disease. Decompensation was observed in 20% of patients and was associated with oxygen treatment within 7 days – but only in the elderly group of patients with risk factors for serious disease. These findings are hypotheses-generating and suggest that physical exercise testing may be usefull for decision making in emergency settings.

Disadvantaged situation means not just a kind of negative social phenomenon, but its effects manifesting on the economic and social fields are also significant. Regarding its complexity, a holistic view is necessary to approach it, and explore the developed situation, define solution proposals, promote a better quality of life and finally, to monitor prevention processes and revise the proposals if necessary. In case of disadvantaged situation, the involvement of children and women requires special attention in all aspects. The Creative Region research group launched its various research in the multi-stage research of the Higher Education Institutional Excellence Program (in Hungarian: Felsőoktatási Intézményi Kiválósági Program, FIKP) started in 2018 on the University of Miskolc, in which the staff of the Faculty of Health got the opportunity to conduct the comprehensive health mapping of the rural population with the involvement of 25 settlements. Based on the results of the FIKP research, it has been supported from more approaches that disadvantaged situation and deprivation can significantly determine the health behaviour, health consciousness and future life prospects of people living there. The comprehensive research examined the characteristics of the health status of people living in disadvantaged settlements along different dimensions. Getting to know the mental health of young girls and the issue of menstruation days among both them and the adult female population were essential elements of the research. During data recording in 2018 with student girls under the age of 14, we experienced in a high number that the girls’ mental well-being was not ideal, and this also manifested in mild to moderate depression at more of them. The presence of domestic violence affecting them is also not negligible in the region. Our research performed in 2019 also supports that anxiety and the feeling of shame appear strongly among young girls on menstruation days as well, and a certain level of the omission of menstruation hygienic products can also be experienced in the region. Data collection performed in 2020 focused on the adult female population in which we experienced the similar phenomena as in case of young girls. In connection with showing the direction of the areas to be improved and defining the promoting prevention health promotion advice, we should have had to strive for adapting to the population’s demands and the professionals’ flexibility which support the more favourable acceptance of the proposals. The significance of individual care, individual competence improvement and personalized counselling and help is indispensable.
