ABSTRACT Toilet training is an effort to train children to be able to control and urinate (BAK) and defecate (BAB). Toilet training is one of the main tasks of children at toddler age. Toilet training is one of the main tasks of children in toddler age which is very important to be done to create independence in children in controlling BAK and BAB and children know the parts of the body and their functions. Data in 2012 shows that ± 60% of parents do not teach toilet training to children from an early age. The aim of the study was to find out the effectiveness of toilet training education on maternal behavior and toilet skills in toddler age training (18-36 months). The study was conducted in July-August 2018. This type of quantitative research used the design of the Quasy pretest and posttest experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Samples were 36 mothers and 36 children with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used Paired t test, Wilcoxon test, Man-Whitney test an Independent t test. The results showed that toilet training education through lecture methods, modules and maze games was more effective than toilet training education through lecture and leaflet methods on children's knowledge and abilities. Conversely, for the role of mothers in supervision there is no significant difference in effectiveness. Health education is recommended in health promotion programs to increase maternal knowledge, the role of mothers and the ability of toilet training children independently. ABSTRACT Background: Hypertension is significantly associated with increased morbidity and mortality of cerebrovascular diseases, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure and renal insufficiency. Hypertension is a major public health problem and an important research area due to its high prevalence and a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and other complications. This study aimed to determine the effect of foot reflexology therapy on lowering blood pressure in elderly people suffering from hypertension in the working area of Sekupang community health center, Batam City. Subjects and Method: This study was an experiment with a pretest – posttest control group design. A sample of 15 elderlies was selected by simple random probability sampling. The dependent variable was elderly with hypertension. The independent variable was foot reflexology therapy. The data obtained from this study were the values of pre and post therapy blood pressure between the control group and the treatment group. The data was analyzed by Wilcoxon test. Results: After the intervention of foot reflexology was carried out, foot reflexology affected reducing headache intensity (Mean= 2; SD= 0.52) and it was statistically significant (p= 0.002). When compared to the control group that was not given therapy, indicating that pain intensity tended to increase with statistical results (Mean = 2.33; SD= 0.69) obtained (Z score = -2.64) with p = 0.008. Conclusion: Reducing the intensity of headaches and able to lower blood pressure in older people with hypertension. In the Sangurara Community Health Center work area, the second highest case of weight (BGM) was recorded with 30 babies. Touch therapy or massage is one technique that combines the physical benefits of human touch with emotional benefits such as bounding and increasing weight. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infant massage on weight gain in infants aged 1-3 months in the work area of the Sangurara Health Center in Palu City. Palu City. This type of research is a Quasi-experimental design with pretest and Posttest control group design. The sample in this study were 30 months old infants as many as 30 infants with sampling technique consecutive sampling. Data analysis using test Chi-square with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results showed that babies who were massaged had more weight gain, which was 24.07%, while babies who were not massaged had a weight gain of 18.28%. This is evidenced by the value of  p value: 0.03 (p.value≤0.05). In conclusion, there is the effect of Baby Massage on Increased Body Weight. Suggestions for researchers for health workers to socialize and suggest baby massage to reduce the case of BGM weight (Under the Red Line) in infants.

Breastfeeding is one of the global health issues in the 21st century, given that breastfeeding has a significant effect on infant mortality. The absence of breastfeeding in the first days after giving birth is one of the reasons for not creating exclusive breastfeeding. The inhibition of breastmilk secretion can be caused by inhibition of oxytocin secretion which is very instrumental in smoothing out ASI expenditure. Stimulation of the hormone prolactin and oxytocin can be done through breast care and oxytocin massage. Kamonji Health Center is the health center with the lowest exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Palu City, which is 57.3%. The purpose of this study was to find out the comparative time of mother's milk delivery which was given oxytocin massage and breast care within 2 hours postpartum in the Kamonji Community Health Center work area. This study is a quasi-experimental study with the design of The posttest-only control group. The number of samples was 30 people, taken by consecutive sampling technique and divided by 15 respondents into the oxytocin and breast care massage groups. The intervention was carried out within 2 hours postpartum and then observed when the first ASI was discharged after the third stage ended. Data normality test using Shapiro-Wilk test, data analysis using Mann Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0.044, with the average time of mother's breastmilk given oxytocin massage was 14.19 hours and breast care 5.57 hours. The conclusion of the study is that there is a difference in the time of mother's milk to be given oxytocin massage and breast care in the fourth stage of labor. Based on the results of this study it is recommended to do breast care to help accelerate the release of breast milk.

BACKGROUND: Most postpartum mothers experience pain. Childbirth pain can cause anxiety, fear, tension, and stress. To increase comfort and reduce pain in maternity can be done using non-pharmacological methods by giving aromatherapy. AIM: The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of lavender and rose flower aromatherapy on the intensity of active phase childbirth pain in pregnant women in Manyak Payed Community Health Center, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Indonesia METHODS: A quasi-experimental design with a prospective cohort study with post-test control group design, which was conducted in the Manyak Payed Community Health Center working area from September to December 2019. A total of 54 women giving birth using accidental sampling techniques were selected as samples and divided into three groups. Each group numbered 18 people. In this sample using inclusion and exclusion criteria, data analysis uses univariable and bivariable using Kruskal–Wallis H test and Mann–Whitney test. RESULTS: The results obtained mean childbirth pain in the lavender group by 18.83, rose flower group by 26.21, and the control group by 37.06. The results of the crucial Willis H test show that there are differences ineffectiveness in the control group and the treatment group with the Sig. 0.001 (<0.05). In further tests of the post hoc test using the Mann–Whitney test, it was found that there was no difference in the effectiveness of the intensity of labor pain in the active phase I with a sig. 0.90 (p > 0.05). Lavender and rose flower groups were equally effective in the intensity of childbirth pain. CONCLUSION: There is a difference between lavender and rose flower aromatherapy on the intensity of pain in the association. Lavender and rose flower aromatherapy treatments are equally influential on the intensity of labor pain in the first phase of the active phase in labor. Lavender and rose flower groups were equally effective in the intensity of childbirth pain.
