A research has been conducted which aims to design a waste-based calorimeter as an alternative to measuring heat for chemistry practicum in schools. Research products developed through the steps of design-based research comprising the steps of analysis, design, and development. The resulting product is a waste-based calorimeter equipped with an automatic stirrer. The container to store the reagent solution on the calorimeter is made of Styrofoam, paper, plastic, melamine, PVC and bamboo. Optimization tool was conducted to determine the heat capacity of the calorimeter and the enthalpy of neutralization. The highest accuracy calorimeter value between 78-97%. Bamboo calorimeter has the highest accuracy value (97%). Styrofoam calorimeter has the lowest accuracy values (78%). Based on the results of the validation and feasibility test it can be concluded that the product is declared valid and feasible.

Learning on the concept of chemical bonds should be supported by all three levels of representation as a whole, including macroscopic, sub-microscopic, and symbolic. However, teaching materials that are widely used are still centered on symbolic aspects only. Based on these problems, technology-based teaching materials are needed to overcome this problem. This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of electronic modules. This research used method of Design Based Research (DBR) which consists of the stages of analysis, design and development to be able to produce products in the form of electronic modules that have the characteristics of material presentation in inquiry by connecting three levels of chemical representation which displayed in the form of text, images, animations, flash and video. In general, the results of the average value of the validation test in the form of r count are between 0.77-0.81. Furthermore, the product was tested to 15 student respondents using a feasibility test instrument. The results of the feasibility test show that the percentage of feasibility in each aspect is in the range of 90-98% which agrees to all criteria. This shows an electronic module that has been made feasible to use.

The present study is a Type 1 design and developmental research (DDR) study that aims to analyse the situation, design, develop and evaluate an instructional Place-Based Process Genre Module (PBPGM). Upon completing the needs analysis, design and development of the module, it underwent a pilot test. The validity and reliability were then conducted. A panel of experts were involved in determining the validity of the module's content, sessions, and activities. A group of 30 ESL learners were involved in determining its reliability. All content, sessions and activities were rated above 70%, and all sessions and activities were rated over alpha value of 0.70 indicating that PBPGM was valid and reliable to be experimented with.

This research was conducted to produce teaching materials in the form of e-modules on alternative fuels material based on green chemistry. The presentation of material and visualization that used in this e-module based on green chemistry includes the losses caused by the use of fuel oil and the solutions offered to overcome them by the presence of alternative fuels based on green chemistry. This research uses the Design Based Research method with the ADDIE model. The e-module is tested for its feasibility. The results of the feasibility test show 94-100% of the respondents agreed to all the criteria in the e-module. These results indicate that the green chemistry-based alternative fuel e-module that has been made is feasible to use.

This research was motivated by the lack of media in early reading at the low class. Pop-up book was a media that provided a more attractive visualization for students. Pop-up books provoked students' enthusiasm in reading and stimulated students' imagination. This type of research was development (R&D), using the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation . The data were obtained from the questionnaire filled in by validators and field experts viewed from 5 aspects, namely simplicity, emphasis, balance, integration, and media design. Then, the feasibility test by media experts obtained a percentage of 89.55% (very feasible), by material experts was 88.55% (very feasible), and by field experts on media design was 86.25% (very feasible), and on the material was 85.4% (very feasible). Overall, pop-up book media for early reading was very feasible.
