The paper focuses on the need of E-Reading and integration of E-Reading into the classrooms with Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES).Computer has the potential to become the amazing teaching tool. Besides the written text the technical way of learning has quality, rhythm, tenor and pitch. These parameters vary as per the moods of the teacher in the traditional classrooms. But in the e-learning there is no mood swings to the inanimate objects like video or audio. So, it is the teachers’ ingenuity to select the suitable e-content to the students and make use of the instruments to the fullest extent for the benefit of the students. The ultimate goal of the teacher is to make the learners as independent readers.

New technologies have offered great alternatives for education. In this context, we place robotics and programming as innovative and versatile tools that adapt to active methodologies. With the arrival of COVID-19 and lockdowns, physical resources were kept out of use, and the virtual lectures did not propose to incorporate these elements in a meaningful way. This recent situation raises as an objective of study the need to evaluate if robotics and programming are content that can be taught virtually in these circumstances, without physical resources and without face-to-face lectures. To do this, a mixed methodology consisting of questionnaires and interviews has been incorporated, aimed at primary education teachers, families, and primary education grade students. The results suggest that the virtualization of robotics and programming is a feasible and beneficial alternative for students, which allows the development of digital skills, while it is enhanced with the use of audiovisual materials and online resources. Even though face-to-face classes have other benefits not offered by virtualization, and teacher training needs to be up to the task to face this situation, it is a matter of time to respond to these situations and to guarantee a high-quality distance education.

RESUMO: A Robótica Educacional no Brasil tem ganhado força desde 2002, resultando em trabalhos de dissertação e teses em diferentes programas de pós-graduação. Nesse sentido, buscou-se então entender e fazer um levantamento das produções acadêmicas brasileiras, em especial voltadas para o Ensino Fundamental, produzindo assim um estado da arte. Para construir esse trabalho, concentram-se os esforços em produções que estavam online, tanto no banco da CAPES como na biblioteca nacional, fazendo um mapeamento de vinte oito produções em pouco mais de dez anos. Os resultados dessas pesquisas apontaram uma ramificação das atividades com materiais de robótica livre até proprietários (comerciais) para fins educacionais. Foi possível perceber a empregabilidade dos materiais para o ensino tanto de Matemática como de outras áreas conhecimentos, em sua maioria se apoiando em desenvolvimento de projetos de caráter investigativo. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: robótica; estado da arte; ensino fundamental.   ABSTRACT: Educational Robotics in Brazil have gained strength since 2002, resulting in dissertation and thesis works in different postgraduate programs. In this sense, it was sought to understand and make a survey of the Brazilian academic productions especially focused on Primary Education, producing thus a state of the art. To build this work, efforts have been concentrated on online information from CAPES database and national library, obtaining a mapping in little more than ten years with twenty-eight productions. This research results point to a branch of activities with free robotics to owners (commercials) to educational purposes content. It was possible to notice the materials employability to teach Math and others subjects, in its majority, supporting itself in developing projects of investigative character. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo utilizar una plataforma robótica educativa como herramienta de refuerzo en la adquisición de las competencias relacionadas con el pensamiento computacional y matemático en alumnos de Educación Primaria. Se entiende el pensamiento computacional como un conjunto de habilidades, entre las que se incluye el pensamiento algorítmico, mediante las que cualquier persona es capaz de resolver problemas. Los contenidos a desarrollar se abordarán empleando la estrategia pedagógica STEM, combinando las disciplinas de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas en el proceso de aprendizaje. En este sentido, se propone la adaptación del entorno tecnológico para poder emplearlo en edades tempranas. Concretamente, se proponen varios enunciados relacionados con la resolución de problemas matemáticos enmarcados en el nivel de Educación Primaria y se va a realizar una adaptación de los bloques de programación necesarios para solucionarlos. Para ello, se crean diferentes  bloques personalizados de programación, en los que el docente puede incluir comportamientos más complejos que serán transparentes para el alumno. Por consiguiente, el alumno podrá resolver un abanico mayor de problemas,  liminando la posibilidad de que el entorno de programación ofrezca limitaciones que se traduzcan en un aumento de la complejidad.

The purpose of this chapter is to review the literature referring to the utilization of educational robotics (ER) in primary education. Keyword-based search in particular bibliographic databases returned 21 journal papers for the eight-year period of 2012-2019. The factors that were studied in each of them are as follows: learning environment, area of knowledge/course subjects, pedagogical framework, learning activities, robotic equipment, research methodology, and main findings. The outcomes, among other things, showed that the majority of ER activities took place in a formal learning environment and that ER is appropriate for teaching subjects of STEM education. Though many researches took into account various learning theories that support collaboration, problem-solving, discovery, and construction of knowledge, there were some researches that lacked any pedagogical framework. In spite of the positive cognitive and affective outcomes of ER in learning, there are aspects that require further investigation.

Abstract: This article discusses the learning process in primary education. The ways of using information technologies in school on the subject of mathematics are studied. Mathematics lessons with the use of new computer technologies in teaching and learning makes it possible to improve the activity of self-knowledge during the academic process, which leads to an increase in the interest of students in mathematics and increases the possibility of improving the perception of educational material.
