Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa, Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education, Pendekatan Open-Ended.AbstractThis research is based on the low ability of students & apos mathematical communication whichhas an impact on the low ability to solve the mathematical problems that demand the students' mathematical communication ability. This study aims to determine the comparison of students' mathematical communication skills between Learning Problem Based Learning Model  with Realistic Mathematics Education and open-ended approach. The benefit of this research in general is to provide an overview of PBL learning model with RME and open-ended approach to students & apos mathematical communication ability. The research method used in this research is a quasi experimental method consisting of two classes, namely experimental class 1 which received PBL learning model with RME approach and experiment class 2 which got PBL learning model with Open-Ended approach. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Cikajang with the research sample is class VII A as experimental class 1 and VII B as experiment class 2. The material used as research material is about system of equation and linear inequality one variable (SPLSV). The instrument of this research is a test with the form of description given at the time of pretest and posttest and given the students attitude scale test. From the results obtained pretest Ho accepted so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in students' mathematical communication between experimental class 1 and experiment class 2. From the result posttest obtained Ha accepted, so it can be concluded mathematical communication skills between students who get the model of learning Problem Based Learning Using the Realistic Mathematic Education approach is better than the Open-Ended approach. While the scale of student attitudes processed with Likert scale and it can be concluded that students interpret both the PBL learning model with the approach of RME and open-ended.Keyword: Student Mathematical Communication Skill, Problem Based Learning Model, Realistic Mathematics Education Approach, Open-Ended Approach.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical understanding ability of students who are still low. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of State Primary School 003 Pulau Kopung, Sintajo District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to improve the results of understanding of students' mathematics learning outcomes through the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. From the data analysis of student learning outcomes before and after the Realistic Mathematic Education approach was applied, students who completed only 10 people or 43.47% with incomplete categories. After the first cycle, students who completed increased to 16 or 69.56% with incomplete categories. For the second cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 20 people or equal to 89.95% with complete categories. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach can improve the understanding of the concept of dividing students into mathematics subjects in class V of Public Primary School 003 Pulau Kopung, Sintajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

This study aims to analyze the written mathematical communication skills through the lence of cognitive style of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat Daya in the academic year 2020/2021. With the subjects of research used is 4 students of class VIII A which is taken were in the form of GEFT test results . This study is a descriptive study. The instrument used is test GEFT and written mathematical communication skills test. The findings of the study showed that (a) Students with field-independent cognitivestyle depictedproper written mathematical communication skill. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language clearly and precisely, they also were able to state problems in the form of pictures, and were able to write down mathematical ideas and explanations correctly but were still not optimal. (b) Students with a field-dependent cognitive style had good mathematical communication ability. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language properlyyet are still incomplete, they were still not optimal in addressing problems in the form of images, and lastly, they werealso able to write mathematical ideas and explanations clearly and accurately.

Abstract  This study aimed to analyze the correlation between Mathematical Communication skill and learning interest of Junior High School students by using The Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. The method used in study is using the Quasi-experimental method, by picking up two different (2) classes occupied by Junior High Students in Bandung Residence, and there will be two (2) classestaken as the sample of this study. the first class (experimental)use the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Approach, while the second class (Control) use the usual learning. The questionnaire answer then transformed by using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI), and the data will be tested by using the Product Moment Pearson and Spearmant Theory. The result of this study may point that there is a significant correlation between Mathematical Communication Skill and The Learner's Interest in Studying Mathematics. Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Learning Interests, Realistic Mathematic Education Approach.

Students' mathematical communication is stated to be low because students learn by listening and seeing the teacher solve mathematical problems and students have difficulty in expressing everyday events in mathematical models. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills better than using scientific learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi-Experimental Design and the design of this research The Nonequivalent Postets-Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam, while the samples were class VIIIB as the experimental class and class VIII-A as the control class with the sampling technique of purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematical communication ability test. The data analysis was carried out for the mathematical communication ability test using the t-test because the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, the data were processed using SPSS 18 software and the hypothesis test results were obtained with a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means reject H0 and accept Ha. The results showed that there was an effect of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.
