PurposeKarl Marx's social capital reproduction theory is his significant contribution to economics. The purpose of this paper is to review the contributions of the exploration of Chinese economists (especially Professor Liu Guoguang) in the concretization of Marx’s social capital reproduction theory combined with socialist construction since 1949.Design/methodology/approachDuring this process, Professor Liu Guoguang, a famous Chinese Marxist economist, has made an outstanding contribution by creating a Marxist social capital reproduction model with Chinese characteristics and a distinctive Marxist economic growth model. Professor Liu's exploration is still of crucial practical significance to building a socialist market economy today.FindingsThe process and achievements in the sinicization exploration of Marx's social capital reproduction theory were reviewed. With the reform and opening up, fundamental changes have occurred in China's economic system – the centralized planned economic system has been transformed into a socialist market economic system.Originality/valueThe planned management of the national economy is replaced by a macro-regulation system characterized by gross control gradually, and the concepts of agriculture, light industry, and heavy industry, and their intercorrelation are no longer applied in theory and policy. However, the sinicization exploration of Marx's social capital reproduction theory in the older generation of Marxist economists represented by Liu is not only of historical significance but also of important practical significance.

At this stage, the market economy has become an important force to promote China's economic development. Consolidating the core of market economic development, namely, economic equality and economic freedom, is an inevitable requirement for upholding and improving China's basic economic system, and it is also an important aspect of the country's strong guarantee for market economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to research the meaning of the market economy in the constitution, and at the same time clarify the constitutional norms’ obligation to guarantee the implementation of state agencies to provide adequate constitutional guarantees for the development of the market economy.

In the development of science and of a democracy, competition represents the highest form of collaboration. The same applies in the free market economic system that supports political freedom and corresponds to the most secure source of extended welfare. However, Hayek warns that The «Great Society» is seriously threatened by the comeback of the social-ism’s «tribal ethic»: «the concept of ‘social justice’ has been the Trojan horse for the entrance of the totalitarism». By saying this, he does not deny the value of solidarity. The Great Society can allow itself to help those in need, and actually it must do it.

There is an increasing appetite for responsibility and accountability within the current corporate, however, it is not so clear how much accountability can be given away before the conversation returns to traditional definitions of corporate profit and shareholder value. This chapter explores the fundamental challenges which firms seeking to incorporate socially accountable models into their business approach face in the current pro-market economic system. Four subthemes will be elaborated upon: corporate responsibility in the climate of intangible capital; the stakeholder-shareholder dichotomy; the [in]compatible coexistence of economic growth, innovation and public accountability; and possibilities revealed by benefit corporations. It concludes by examining ways in which both social accountability and profit maximisation might simultaneously exist through an RS approach which can work even within this current lay-out, and how this reveals the more systemic adjustments needed to support widespread change

This article discusses the issue of brotherhood in Islamic economic system. The goal of Islamic economics is to create advantages (falâh}) for all economic man. To achieve this goal, Muslim economists have agreed to set up the philosophical pillars of Islamic economic system which consists of tawhîd, ‘ibâdah, khilâfah, and ukhuwwah. One of the important challenges to deal with is how to place the idea of brotherhood as a pillar of Islamic economic system that is applicable in economic activities which then lead to equal advantages. Muslim economists argue that Islamic economic system has led economic man to possess altruistic personality. This is not only related to the problem of consumption but also to that of production. In addition, the distribution of wealth specific in Islamic economic system has resulted in brotherhood. The spirit of brotherhood has inspired the effort of distributing wealth economically and non-economically towards shared advantages. Specific wealth distribution in Islamic economics is by placing human as economic being and social being alike. Therefore, brotherhood is implemented in market and non-market economic activities. The implementation of brotherhood is not only in the form of cooperative but more than that is to be oriented to efforts of empowering economic man.

Conflicts of interest between developed and developing countries can not be avoided in economic globalization. In the fight, there is domination and hegemony of economic concentration by economic actors from developed countries. The convergence of an accommodative economic system, which does not separate categorically between the capitalistic and socialist market economies, needs to be considered in the reform of Indonesian economic law.

Outsourcing and outstaffing are relevant constructions in the economic system of any state, which requires proper legislativeregu lation of this issue. Their peculiarity lies in the specific forms of labor relations between customers of certain services and performers. So far, this issue is not properly regulated at the legislative level in Ukraine, as a result of which business entities are forced to turnto the general rules of law.Today, the use of outsourcing and outstaffing is quite popular in business. As a rule, such concepts are used in cases when it comesto staff involvement, in particular, in the IT sector, the provision of cleaning services, maintenance and more. The article considers the essence of outsourcing and outstaffing, as well as their legal regulation in Ukraine. Additionally, attentionis paid to the practical aspects of these categories, their main features and characteristics are identified. According to the results ofthe study, the most optimal form of staff involvement was determined. Thus, the optimal form of staff involvement follows directlyfrom the needs of the customer, because to obtain the finished result is logical to use the model of outsourcing, and for long-term performanceof certain functions – outstaffing. If the business entity needs to involve qualified specialists to perform certain functions ona permanent basis or for a long time, it is outstaffing, and if the customer needs to get a ready-made result – outsourcing.Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the issue of outsourcing and outstaffing in Ukraine needs to be properlyregulated, which fully meets modern requirements. In order to eliminate this problem, there is a need to take the following measures:1) ratification by Ukraine of the Convention on Private Agencies of July 19, 1997; 2) making appropriate changes to the norms of theCivil and Commercial Codes of Ukraine, as well as the Labor Code of Ukraine; 3) development and adoption of the Law of Ukraine«On outsourcing and outstaffing companies».
