The purpose of the study is to identify individual typological profiles, considering professional activity and age, for improving professional selection, development and support of various professions ‘ specializations. The sample included 389 people (average age–29.5±8.5 years), including 169 participants of the professional community “Institute for development of leaders” and 220 people-extreme specialists. Respondents belonged to the following professional profiles: administrative and managerial; information technology; research and security. The following methodological complex is used: o. SSS; o. TIPI; o. MMPI; o. Grasmika; o. BIS/BAS; o. EPQ; subjective scale for evaluating one’s own entrepreneurial skills. It was revealed that the combination of a high level of activation system aimed at obtaining additional new stimulation, risk propensity and low emotional stability was characteristic for persons of administrative and managerial profile. Individual and typological characteristics of the security profile were similar to the previous group, except for a lower educational level and pronounced egocentrism. Persons with an information and analytical profile of professional activity were characterized by a low level of activation system and emotional instability. They were prone to risk. Individuals of the research profile were characterized by low self-control, emotional instability when focusing on subjective criteria. The greatest information content of psychological variables was revealed for the age group from 16 to 21 years. Checking the predictive value of discriminant models, where the target variables were professional activity profiles, revealed the high quality of the model only when the subjects were assigned to the group of the security profile. The information content of diagnostics of individual typological characteristics for solving problems of predicting behavioral response and professional selection is confirmed. The characteristics of specialists in various professional profiles have predictive value in relation to the risk of disadaptation and decompensation when changing their employment status.

Introduction. The professional education received and the professional activity carried out have a tangible impact on many spheres of human life. A professional environment influences a person’s consciousness, changes his/her conceptual thinking and lexical content of everyday communication. The purpose of the research is to test whether growing color competence affects the size, variability, and quality of the color vocabulary of native Russian speakers. Materials and methods. The data were collected in an online experiment involving 1737 native Russian speakers with different professional backgrounds and levels of color competence: 1103 participants were not professionally involved with color (hereafter referred to as non-professionals); 509 were students, in the process of professionally mastering the theoretical foundations of color science and colorism, and had basic color competence (hereafter referred to as novice professionals); 125 participants were practicing colorists and color consultants, designers and architects (hereafter referred to as experienced professionals). Results. The research showed that the growth of professional experience and coloristic competence noticeably affects the color vocabulary and color naming patterns. Compared to non-professionals, novice and experienced professionals use more complex color naming patterns and a greater variety of chromatic and achromatic modifiers (the Shannon diversity index increases from 6.55 to 7.52 and 7.12 respectively), but fewer basic color names (they account for 47% of non-professional, 43% of novice and 38% of experienced professionals’ vocabulary). The influence of professional education and professional culture is most pronounced in the choice of referent objects for describing connotations. 132 of the 320 referent objects proposed by non-professionals, and 113 of the 301 objects proposed by professionals, were “endemic” to each of these groups and were not used by representatives of other groups. Non-professionals most often described hues using naturally occurring substances, plants, flowers, artifacts, and body products as prototypes. Color specialists chose as referents dyes, pigments, paint brands, and exotic terms that fill modern advertising. Conclusions. The results confirm the hypothesis that, in addition to the universal perceptual factors that control color categorization, color-related cognitive processes are also influenced by social and cultural factors. The revealed professional differences of color vocabulary and color naming patterns can be used in the practical implementation of the process of formation of linguodidactic design of professional personality of a wide range of professionals, whose activities are directly or indirectly related to the choice of color and color design.

Other methods employed include expert surveys, expert assessments, content analysis of expert comments and a graphical method that clearly illustrates the stages in which the proposals received from experts are processed. The theoretical methods used in this study include abstraction and specification, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, classification and generalisation. We also employ the simulation of professional activity while developing models of professional guidelines and drafting the professional guidelines themselves. Results and Discussion. As a result of this study, we present the methods of drafting professional guidelines for two job types: Research Organisation Administrator and Head of Research at a Research Organisation, informed by analysing the literature on the subject. In addition, we study how professional guidelines are used abroad, the development of said guidelines, analyse the critiques and suggestions received from experts and interested parties during a public discussion in the professional community, and further adjust our guidelines. Conclusion. After summarising our analysis, we conclude that the development of administrator and head of research activity at research organisations has excellent potential, as these positions are the ones that shape a given research organisation's contribution to resolving the social and economic issues faced by the national government. Our draft guidelines for administrators and heads of research are aimed at introducing an effective HR policy and competent personnel management within research organisations. The structure and content of the draft guidelines are optimal for bridging the gap between professional education and the actual labour market requirements. AbstractBackground: Interest in interprofessional education (IPE) to promote effective interprofessional collaboration (IPC) has gained momentum across healthcare, professional education, and government sectors. In general, the IPE literature tends to report single-site studies. This article presents a rare study that reports a largescale multi-site IPE initiative. It draws upon a newly developed notion of mainstreaming—introduced to the literature by Barr and Ross—that helps illuminate the implementation issues related to an IPE initiative. Methods and Findings: A realistic evaluation framework was employed to explore the overarching impact of this large initiative (involving 6 IPE programs within 13 hospitals) on the teaching hospital network in which it was implemented. Qualitative methods were used to gather a total of 142 interviews with program leaders, facilitators, and learners. Findings provide insight into the mainstreaming of IPE in relation to educational, professional, and organizational outcomes. Educational outcomes detail how inter-organizational partnerships developed among hospitals with the sharing of ideas and resources for implementing IPE and IPC. Professional outcomes describe learners’ experiences of increased awareness of the policy agenda and the meanings and value they attach to IPE and IPC. Organizational outcomes demonstrate that interprofessional champions with senior management support and protected time were core mainstreaming elements, and yet participants outlined a range of concerns and desires for the sustainability of this IPE initiative. Conclusions: This article provided empirical insight into the perceptions, ideas, and experiences of IPE from a wide range of program developers, facilitators, and attendees. Barr and Ross’ concept of mainstreaming and the use of a realistic evaluation framework provide a useful way to illuminate the processes and outcomes of implementing a large multi-institutional IPE initiative.
