The article is devoted to the problem of self-destructive behavior of the individual in adolescence, which has become quite common in modern Russia. The paper presents an analysis of the concept of "self-destructive behavior", provides various points of view and approaches to this concept, and draws a parallel between such concepts as "deviant behavior" and "addictive behavior". Special attention is paid to the leading socio-psychological factors that contribute to the emergence of self-destructive behavior in adolescence, among which there are violations of family relations, difficulties in adapting adolescents in society, features of self-esteem and self-attitude, difficulties in communicating with adults and peers. The article presents the results of an experimental study on the identification of socio-psychological determinants of self-destructive behavior of adolescents. The main methods were used: conversation, observation (I A. Korobeynikov); questionnaire of suicide risk (modification of T.N. Razuvaeva); method of diagnostics of the degree of manifestation of codependent behavior patterns of B. Weyhold; questionnaire "behavior of parents and the attitude of teenagers to them" (L.I. Wasserman, I.A. gorkova, E.E. Romitsina); method of studying self-esteem by Dembo-Rubinstein; multi-level personal questionnaire "Adaptability" (A.G. Maklakov); method of studying self-relation of S.R. Pantileev, V.V. Stolina. The authors concluded that the study group of adolescents has a tendency to deviant behavior, most often, it is tobacco Smoking, alcohol use, psychoactive substances, many of them have a tendency to suicidal behavior and violation of social norms. As a result of the research, the priority significance of the following socio-psychological determinants for self-destructive behavior of adolescents was determined: expressed negativity of parents' attitude to the adolescent, problems of adaptation, weak and contradictory self-attitude, orientation to unproductive communication styles.

The psychology of motherhood is one of the most complex and little-studied branches of modern science. Such studies are important because of existing grave demographic problems associated with falling birth rates, the large number of divorces, the increasing number of children abandoned by their parents or cases of child abuse, insufficient social and psychological assistance for families, and especially for women in labour. The holistic psychological approach is relevant to studies of motherhood and social-psychological determinants forming pregnant women’s self-esteem, because psychological problems of motherhood and early childhood are in demand on the background of modern advances in medicine, physiology, gynaecology and obstetrics, improved scientific-technical help at childbirth and neonatal practices. The article studies pregnant women’s self-esteem, in particular, by taking into account such characteristics as women’s reproductive health, psychological-emotional states during pregnancy, psychological readiness for motherhood, social environment, social support, self-realization in the professional sphere, social guarantees given by employers. The article proposes the theoretical model covering social-psychological determinants of pregnant women’s self-esteem, which takes into account both the general social-psychological factors of life and the sphere of life specific for a modern pregnant woman. The presented determinants affect a woman’s self-esteem before / during pregnancy, after childbirth and form her attitude to herself and to her role as a mother in family and society. The purpose of this theoretical model is to analyze the impact of socio-psychological determinants on pregnant women’s self-esteem.Pregnant women’s self-esteem is a multilevel structure, which parts are studied in many sciences (psychology, sociology, demography, medicine - (gynaecology, obstetrics, neonatology, prenatal psychology), and covers all areas of pregnant women’ life.

The article is devoted to the coverage of socio-psychological factors of the emergence of suicidal behavior in pre-adult age. The article provides theoretical and methodological substantiation and empirical verification of the correlation of suicidal behavior in pre-adult age with psychological personality traits, identifies socio-psychological features of such behavior, as well as provides an empirical analysis of individually-psychological factors of suicidal ideation. The author formed a phased model of the emergence of suicidal behavior, described its main stages, among which were identified: the inability to adapt to changes in the social environment, conflict in the microenvironment, social and psychological maladaptation, the emergence of deviant behavior, intractable intolerance. There were also three groups of factors that provoked the emergence of suicidal behavior in pre-adult age: general psychological features of suicides; personal factors; family factors. Selected 3 valid diagnostic methods are aimed at: research of manifestations and stages of development of suicidal behavior; research of the relatives’ presence of persons who have attempted or succeeded in suicide; research of personal psychological states that highly likely influenced the suicidal behavior. The sample was divided into three groups. Separation criteria were stages in the development of suicidal behavior. It has been empirically proven that presuicidal behavior is conditioned by a multitude of influences. The most common of them are: the appearance of expressed anxiety, frustration, aggression, rigidity, as well as changes in the attitude to one's life and death.
