Crowdfunding (CF) is considered to be an innovative source of funding, and research into its effects on CF participants is being conducted from many different angles. In our article, we propose a qualitative analysis of CF’s impact on creating added value for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This paper is a conceptual study based on the theory of value co-creation, the Norton–Kaplan value model, and the concept of economic value added (EVA) to identify the areas (perspectives) of business activity where crowdfunding may stimulate the growth of company value. Based on the map of co-relations in crowdfunding that we have created, we propose a new model of crowdfunding value analysis from the entrepreneur’s point of view. Our research demonstrates that crowdfunding not only presents an alternative financing option, but also affects all perspectives relevant to value creation. As compared to the existing literature, this analysis is the most comprehensive take on the importance of crowdfunding for increasing the value of small and medium enterprises to date, thus offering a material contribution to the fuller understanding of crowdfunding from the financial standpoint, as well as pointing to the importance of crowdfunding as a financing method influencing sustainable decision-making by small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The added value of the study is the proposed method of analysing the impact of CF on the value of enterprises by using the Norton–Kaplan model and EVA.

Lampung City is a city that has abundant pineapple yields. However, most fruits that did not meet the standards, such as fruit that fell from the tree or known as pineapple rejected. Fruits that do not meet the sales standard have a very low economic value and are only thrown into waste. This study aims to increase the economic value of this pineapple with the intention of becoming a substrate of nata de pina. Pineapple has a fairly high content and is approved as a substrate for making nata. The research method used is qualitative, namely by explaining the steps of making pineapple as a nata de pina substrate. The Innovation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Lampung City in making processed pineapple products has made a major contribution to the people of Lampung City, especially pineapple farmers. Farmers who used to only sell raw pineapple at affordable prices are now increasing their income because they sell high-priced processed products. The people also enjoy the impact of the presence of nata de pina, because nata de pina is often added to desserts to add sweetness. This research makes reference for small and medium businesses in developing pineapple processed products.

The current state of financial and economic government institutions negatively affects  Ukrainian budget execution, and the general trend of deterioration in the standard of living of the people, in general leads to low level of functioning of the enterprise and  their competitiveness, especially in such industry as trade. Aims and tasks. In the conditions of an unstable political and economic situation in commodity market and services to overcome disproportions between operating profit  of some commodity groups of trade enterprise and its added value which indicates depreciation of the capital  invested by owners not only doesn't provide compensation of investments, but also leads to losses because of inflationary processes therefore there is a need for the mutual integration of approaches of management of expenses for assessment. Results. The practical value of application of a method of Activity-based costing (ABC) and Economic Value Added (EVA) in management of expenses not only in creation of a system of accounting of expenses, but also and predictions through new approaches for the analysis for identification of unproductive fields of activity in value creation of a product is proved, including positively influences the growth of business activity for trade enterprises. In the field of innovative approaches the balanced system of indexes (BSI) and EVA methods harmoniously are integrated in processes of costs planning, management of them at the level of departments and in general are distributed among operation processes to responsible persons, which has a positive impact on maximizing capital cost of the enterprise. Conclusions. Application of methods of cost management as uniform system provides chance to distribute expenses on commodity groups and to define  goods which create added value gives the chance to settle the impact of minimum change of influence of a factor  on commodity turnover level due to decrease of unit  cost in life cycle of a product through the analysis of a point of profitability for increase in investment attractiveness.

This article seeks to empirically assess the effect of inflation and external debt on economic growth in Morocco. The estimates cover the period from 1985 to 2019. The results from the ARDL model show that external debt negatively influences the country's growth in the short and long terms. Due to its direct effect, inflation slows down economic activity and leads to lower GDP growth. The econometric estimate indicates that the low level of inflation leads to difficulties in repaying debt and, consequently, reduced economic growth. Low inflation also hurts economic competitiveness among small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Although the inflation rate is lower than the interest rates, it reduces the profit margins of companies and leads to lower investment. The negative effect on economic competitiveness leads to decreased sectoral added value, reducing future economic growth rates. Based on the results, two main measures are proposed to mitigate the negative effect of inflation and debt on economic growth. First, we must develop better institutional and governance quality. The latter allows debt funds to be well spent on non-rent-producing sectors capable of reviving the Moroccan economy. Second, we have to look for good inflation, in other words, inflation that stimulates economic activity without creating economic distortions.

The study aims to make an assessment of COVID-19 on Indian economy by analysing its impact on growth, manufacturing, trade and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, and highlights key policy measures to control the possible fallout in the economy. The impact of the pandemic across sectors and in different scenarios of complete, extended and partial lockdown, and at different levels of capacity utilization is massive on the Indian economy. India’s economy may barely manage to have a positive growth of 0.5 per cent in an optimistic scenario but also faces the possibility of a 3–7 per cent negative growth in worst case scenarios for the calendar year 2020. The impact is severe on trade, manufacturing and MSME sectors. The likely impact (deceleration) of COVID-19 from best case scenario to worst scenario are as follows: manufacturing sector may shrink from 5.5 to 20 per cent, exports from 13.7 to 20.8 per cent, imports from 17.3 to 25 per cent and MSME net value added (NVA) from 2.1 to 5.7 per cent in 2020 over previous year. The economy is heading towards a recession and the situation demands systematic, well targeted and aggressive fiscal-monetary stimulus measures.

AbstractThe environment in which manufacturing small and medium enterprises operate has become very complex, and therefore manufacturing SME’s owners need to be aware of the impact their decisions have on the environment and society. The aim of the research was to identify which innovative management accounting practices can be integrated into manufacturing SMEs’ strategies to overcome the challenge of being blamed by stakeholders as contributors to social and environmental problems. Published articles were sourced from the University of South Africa’s online library using keywords. A systematic literature review was employed to discover themes and concepts during secondary data gathering to detect traditional and innovative MAPs in management accounting literature all over the globe. The qualitative data analysis and research software, Atlas.ti was used to synthesise the data. Thematic analysis was used to evaluate the occurrence of words, phrases, themes, metaphors, and the construction of concepts in MAPs literature. During the analysis, seven innovative MAPs (activity base costing/budgeting; product life cycle costing; total quality management; environmental costing; target costing; kaizen costing and value analysis) were identified. It is recommended that manufacturing SMEs integrate these innovative MAPs into their strategies to impact their environmental, social, supply chain management and recycling policies to promote operational efficiency to achieve sustainability. Further research to identify influencing factors; strategic procedures; and the environmental and social benefits of integrating these identified innovative MAPs into manufacturing SMEs to achieve sustainability, should be undertaken.

Object of study is the Tape Handayani 82 SME that engaged in tape industry. Selections of the research object because tape is typical of the Bondowoso. Tape has relatively high market share, but in efficiency of time management, activities undertaken, not in accordance with time -driven activity-based costing concepts. Data collection methods used in this qualitative approach. This step is done by directly observe and conduct interviews with employer and owner who do day-to- day business activities especially financial. Recognition of cost of tape products show too low. As for the fuel smoked tape, tape, dodol and suwar suwir show the company recognize higher. Calculations with TDABC provide more accurate information related to the consumption cost. The result can be used to revise cost product. Added analysis of the activities does by identifying, preparing and evaluating activities description. The analysis identifies what activities are done, how many people who carry out these activities, the time and resources necessary to do the activity. TDABC analysis indicates that Tape 82 Handayani is not efficient yet. 70 % is still idle capacity so it is necessary to create added value activity. Idle capacity led to increased costs or consumes resources costs that are not necessary. Keywords: TDABC, activity, poduct cost, tape
