The aim of the present study was to examine the impact of microteaching on professional competence among four pre-service student teachers enrolled in the program of special education for students of learning disabilities in the Faculty of Education. The researchers indicated the theoretical conceptions of professional competencies, pre-service training, practicum in learning disabilities, and microteaching. The study conducted through three stages: baseline, intervention, and follow up. The researchers used a checklist as the tool of the study. The study was conducted during the field training of the subjects as they were asked to prepare and carry out the entire individual teaching lesson in the resource rooms affiliated to the public education schools. Microteaching sessions were also administrated at the university campus in Najran. The results of the study indicated significant improvements in the professional competencies among the four pre- service students as it was moderate at baseline (68%) for the four participating pre-service students. The subjects maintained the targeted skills in one measurement and after two weeks of the study (89%) indicating the significance of the microteaching in developing pre- service teachers required skills.

In this study, the relationship between motivations for success, personal-professional competencies and lifelong learning tendencies of university students were investigated. The study group consists of 344 University students from Turkey and Kosovo. In this research, the collection of data was done by “Personal-Professional Competencies Perception Scale, “Success Oriented Motivation Scale” and “Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale”. In order to determine the relationship between variables in the analysis of the data, correlation analysis was performed and tested with the structural equation model. According to the results of the research; there was a positive significant correlation between motivation for success and personal professional competence, and a positive significant relationship between lifelong learning and personal-professional competence. Motivation for success positively affects personal-professional competencies and lifelong learning tendencies. It has been determined that lifelong learning tendency is a partial tool in this relationship.

В статье рассматривается вопрос о факторах, влияющих на развитие настоящего профессионализма, неразрывно связанного с профессиональной направленностью личности, субъектным отношением к деятельности. Одной из психических структур, связывающих профессиональное и личностное, являются профессиональные представления. Анализ современных эмпирических исследований показывает, что значительное развитие профессиональные представления получают во время обучения в системе высшего образования. Однако это развитие имеет значительные резервы. Гипотеза исследования состоит в том, что существуют факторы, значительно замедляющие развитие у студентов профессиональных представлений в процессе обучения. На основе анализа особенностей развития профессиональных представлений было выдвинуто предположение, что одним из таких факторов является частое возникновение у них негативных эмоциональных состояний. Для подтверждения этой гипотезы со студентами были проведены занятия по формированию навыка совладания с негативными переживаниями. В результате развитие профессиональных представлений у них значительно ускорилось. Таким образом, возникновение негативных переживаний, связанных с процессом обучения, является фактором, существенно замедляющим развитие профессиональных представлений. The article focuses on factors that influence the development of professional competencies, promotes people’s professional improvement, their involvement in their work. Professional insights serve as a bridge between the personal and the professional. The analysis of modern empirical research shows that higher education efficiently promotes the development of people’s professional insights. It also shows that people’s professional development has significant reserves. The hypothesis of the research consists in the assumption that there are certain factors that hinder the development of students’ professional insights in the process of education. The analysis of the peculiarities of professional insights development enables the authors of the article to assume that one of the factors is students’ predisposition towards negative emotions. To prove the hypothesis, students were engaged into learning activities aimed at the development of coping skills. The experiment showed that students’ professional insights were developed more efficiently and rapidly. Therefore, negative emotions associated with the process of education are a factor that significantly hinders the development of students’ professional insights.

The article presents the results of the specifics of the activity and professional competence of a specialist in the field of education-a counselor working with a permanent children’s team. The article reflects the results of the conducted research on the definition of the space of professional activity of a counselor working with a permanent children’s team and the allocation of methodological competence as one of the key professional competencies of him as a specialist working with a permanent children’s team. The author of the article conducted a comparative analysis of the formation of the methodological competence of a counselor working with a permanent children’s team on the example of the competitive materials of the participants of the All-Russian Competition of professional Skills “League of Counselors” and identified the key professional deficits of the formation of the methodological competence of counselors. Based on the study of training programs for counselors working with a permanent children’s team, presented in the open access, methodological recommendations for optimizing the system of training counselors working with a permanent children’s team and developing their methodological competence are formed.

Background. It is undoubtedly afield of education that provides a prosperous future for people, guides them in the right direction, and imparts knowledge, which is an inalienable treasure. It is possible to distinguish between the educated and the uneducated at once. Quality education provides a bright future for anybody. For this reason, this article also provides information on the field of education, emphasizing the importance of the role of primary education. There is also information about the professional competence of primary school teachers, that is, the merit, worthiness, love for their work. Suggestions and recommendations are also given on what professional competencies a primary education teacher should have.

The article considers the creative potential of a teacher as one of the key indicators of professional competence, and in particular a teacher of physical education. Further, the concept of "creative potential" is given and detailed and the professional competencies of the teacher of physical culture are presented. In addition, possible ways to develop the creative potential of the teacher were identified. In conclusion, the possible inclusion of creative options for solving professional pedagogical problems is presented.

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Keberadaan perawat sebagai pemberi pelayanan kesehatan sangatlah penting, masyarakat modern saat ini menuntut profesionalisme perawat dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa persepsi pasien terhadap kompetensi profesional perawat di Rumah Sakit Advent Bandung. Metode: Deskriptif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen. Kuesioner berisi 22 jumlah butir pernyataan yang diadaptasi dari delapan kompetensi perawat menurut Lenburg et al. (2009). Populasi yang digunakan adalah pasien dewasa diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Advent Bandung dengan sampel berjumlah 57 pasien dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menghitung mean skor.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persepsi pasien terhadap kompetensi profesional perawat di Rumah Sakit Advent Bandung termasuk dalam interpretasi baik (Mean 3,94). Butir yang dipersepsikan paling dominan adalah butir pernyataan “perawat menghargai budaya/agama yang dimiliki pasien” yang termasuk kedalam keterampilan kepedulian sosial dan relasi sosial dengan mean 4,39. Butir yang dipersepsikan kurang dominan adalah butir pernyataan “Perawat memiliki pengetahuan diluar bidang ilmunya (ilmu alam,sosial,politik)” yang termasuk dalam keterampilan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dengan mean 3,33. Diskusi: Kompetensi profesional perawat di Rumah Sakit Advent Bandung termasuk dalam kategori yang tinggi dengan interpretasi baik. Kata Kunci: Persepsi pasien, Kompetensi Profesional Perawat   ABSTRACT Introduction: The existence of nurses as health care providers is essential, nowadays modern society demands nurses professionalism in their duties performences. The purpose of this study was to analyze the patient's perception of the professional competence of nurses in Bandung Adventist Hospital. Method: Descriptive method using a questionnaire as an instrument. The questionnaire contains 22 statements that was adapted from the eight competencies of nurses according to Lenburg et al. (2009). The population used was hospitalized adult patients admitted in Bandung Adventist Hospital with a total of 57 patients selected by purposive sampling. Measurement was done by calculating the mean score. Result: The results showed that patient’s perception to the professional competencies of nurses in Bandung Adventist Hospital is in a good interpretations (Mean 3,94). Item that is perceived most dominant is a statement "nurses appreciate the culture/religion possessed patient" that was included in the social care skills and social relations with the mean of 4.39. Item that is perceived less dominant is a statement "Nurses have knowledge beyond the field of science (natural science, social, political)" which is included in integrate knowledge skill with mean of 3.33. Discussion: Professional competencies of nurses in Bandung Adventist Hospital was included in the high category with a good interpretation. This paper deals with the problem of theoretical justification and development of scientific and methodological support for using the cloud service CoCalc as a tool for the formation of mathematics teachers’ professional competencies. The following contradictions exist concerning the processes of forming these competencies: between the level of abstraction of mathematical objects and the possibilities of providing their visualization by computer interpretation; between the expediency of widespread use of ICT services for mathematical purposes in the training of pre-service teachers of mathematics and the lack of opportunities for their provision to ICT subdivisions and pedagogical universities; between the feasibility of using ICT outsourcing of cloud infrastructure for the pre-service training of mathematics teachers in Ukraine and the non-adaptability of foreign cloud-based mathematical services to the requirements of national educational standards; between the possibilities of application of cloud mathematical services in the process of formation of professional competencies of mathematics teachers and the absence of an adequate method for their implementation. The paper describes the professional training of mathematics teachers in universities of Ukraine, and considers the national and foreign experience of using the cloud-based services in mathematics teachers’ pre-service training and also the tendencies and prospects of using CoCalc in teaching mathematical disciplines. The process of system design of mathematics teachers’ professional competencies is characterized, and the model of using the cloud service CoCalc as a tool for forming mathematics teachers’ professional competencies is developed. The indicators and levels (high, sufficient, medium, low) were identified for each component of the pre-service mathematics teachers’ professional competence system within the proposed model. The method of using CoCalc as a tool for forming professional competencies of mathematics teachers is developed and its basic components such as purpose, content, tools, methods and results are elaborated. Information regarding the stages of research and also the experimental work objectives and content are presented; the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the main stages (ascertaining, formative) of the pedagogical experiment is performed, confirming the hypothesis of the study.

The topicality of the Doctoral Thesis “Development of Professional Competence in Higher Education Topical for the Tourism Industry Labour Market” was determined by the necessity to improve Latvian higher education to enhance the employability of graduates. The objective of the Doctoral Thesis is to form an approach to the continuous development of curricula, which would be based on the assessment of the importance of specific knowledge and skills required in the tourism industry labour market and the opportunities for their development in the higher education, thus providing students with opportunities to raise their professional competencies in line with the demands of the labour market. The theoretical chapters of the study consist of a comprehensive analysis of scientific literature and documents on the constituent parts of professional competence – knowledge and skills, as well as the essence of curricula and models developed for their improvement. The Thesis includes a thorough analysis of the essence of extracurricular study activities and an assessment of their practical application. The empirical part is formed by seven research stages assessing consecutively the requirements of the tourism industry labour market as well by an evaluation of the compliance of higher education curricula. The main outcomes reflect professional competencies required in the tourism industry labour market, the current state of affairs in the higher education curricula as well as reveal the discrepancy between the needs of employers in the tourism industry and the professional competencies developed by graduates of higher education institutions. The approach of a continuous development of curricula involving the development of a systemic and consecutive formation and perfection of curricula has been worked out on the basis of the acquired results. The approach provides for continuous development of curricula, therefore making it possible for students to develop topical professional competencies in the tourism industry. The curriculum design contained in the approach provides an opportunity to develop the professional competency required in the industry not only in the main components established by normative acts but also in the additional components of the design formed by extracurricular study activities and cooperation with the industry.

Abstract Development of professional competence of the procurement specialists in procurement statistics is one of the research priorities in the supply of human resources for procurement. State priorities in the training of personnel ready for efficient professional activity in the ever changing environment are reflected in the content of educational programs. But the lack of uniform requirements for the training of managers, specialists and experts in the field of procurement gives rise to a huge number of problems. Digitalization of procurement, growth of e-commerce requires mandatory introduction of such a component as procurement statistics into the structure of professional competence of customers. But how to determine the necessary amount of knowledge, which statistical tools should be in possession of a graduate of the educational program - these and many other questions remain open. This paper presents the main approaches to the development of professional competencies of procurement specialists in maintaining statistical records of the procurement activities through educational programs based on monitoring of their efficiency.
