Analyzed the dynamic interaction characteristics of Chongqing Economic growth and energy consumption between 1980-2011 based on vector auto regression model, impulse response function. The results showed that: 1 Between the Chongqing's economic growth and energy consumption exist the positive long-term stable equilibrium relationship, Chongqing's economic development depending on energy consumption is too high, to keep the economy in Chongqing's rapid economic development, energy relatively insufficient supply sustainable development must rely on the energy market, which will restrict the development of Chongqing's economy. 2At this stage, Chongqing continuing emphasis on optimizing the industrial structure to improve energy efficiency at the same time, the key is to establish and improve the energy consumption intensity and total energy demand "dual control" under the security system, weakening the energy bottleneck effect on economic growth.

The traditional opinions regard energy as the main factor for the economic development, but not the key one, because there are different conclusions from the practical researches on the relationship between the energy consumption and economic development. The article utilizes the Granger casual test and Cointegration test to analyze the dynamic relationship between energy consumption and economic development in China. Based on our conclusion that economic development relies on energy consumption, some suggestions are given for energy saving and development in the long-term.

Rising economic performance has enlarged energy demand, carbon emissions and global warming. Policymakers need to avoid global warming. Therefore, energy-growth nexus is important. This paper empirically investigates the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth for a panel of G20 countries over the period 1990-2016. For this purpose, the paper considers the panel cointegration and panel vector error correction model. Panel cointegration test set out a long-run equilibrium relationship. Long-run relationship is estimated using a Fully Modified OLS (FMOLS) and Dynamic OLS (DOLS). The results show that causality run from energy consumption to GDP. It is indicates that “growth hypothesis” is valid for G20 countries.

This paper purports to study the effectiveness of financial development to Malaysian economic growth utilizing quarterly data. In view of the priority given to dynamic relationship in conducting this study, Vector Autoregressive (VAR) method which encompasses Johansen-Juselius’ Multivariate cointegration, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), Impulse Response Function (IRF), and Variance Decomposition (VDC) are used as empirical evidence. The result reveals a short-term and long-term dynamic relationship between financial development and economic growth. The importance of financial sector in influencing the economic activity is proven as a clear policy implication.

Electricity is an indispensable material basis for economic development. It is necessary to study the relationship between different electricity consumption and economic growth. Based on the quarterly data of China’s electricity consumption and economic development from 2011 to 2018, the long-term equilibrium relationship between variables are analyzed from a causal perspective, and electricity consumption indicators for reflecting economic development are identified. The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between secondary industry electricity consumption, industrial electricity consumption and GDP. The demand for electricity consumption still needs to be met urgently.

Energy is an important material basis for social and economic development. With the rapid economic development, energy is increasingly becoming an important issue of socio-economic development. As China's "two-oriented society" pilots Hunan Province, a major breakthrough occurred in the transformation of economic growth, adjusting the industrial structure and promoting energy conservation and environmental protection, but still faces shortage of energy supply and demand and supply imbalances, impacting on sustainable economic development. This paper introduces the economic growth based on the previous results and summarized the relationship between energy consumption and classification; also introduces the theory of economic growth, industrial structure and related econometric models providing a theoretical basis and methods of analysis for this study. Secondly, through the relevant data collected and selected first from second and third industry time series data of economic growth and energy consumption of the 1990-2013 year of Hunan Province, the paper established econometric model of industrial structure and the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in the analysis of the results obtained: the secondary industry is the leading cause of long-term increase in energy consumption which in turn is the driving force of the tertiary industry development. Finally, the relevant suggestions are made for industrial restructuring and for ensuring security of energy supply perspective.

This paper uses co-integration theories and Granger causality test method to analyze the inter-linkages among China's economic growth, export and energy consumption within a unified analytical framework. The results show that there exists a long-term equilibrium relationship between economic growth, exports and energy consumption, and economic growth and exports both promote energy consumption in the long term. Furthermore, there exist bi-directional Granger causality between economic growth and energy consumption, export and energy consumption respectively.

FDI is very important to the economic development of a region. The Yangtze River economic belt is one of the important economic core regions in China. In order to study the impact of global foreign direct investment on the economic growth of the Yangtze River economic belt, this paper uses VAR model to analyze the dynamic relationship between FDI and GDP in the Yangtze River economic belt. The results show that FDI has a positive impact on the growth of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in the short term, but not in the long term. At the same time, the economic development of the Yangtze River economic belt has a positive impact on FDI.

With the increasingly development of economy in China, economic growth and efficient use of energy is a hot topic in recent years, also China is under pressure of carbon emissions reductions during the process of economic development. This paper try to do a research to find weather the structure of energy consumption and economic growth exist long-term dynamic equilibrium relationship. Based on VAR model, though Granger causality test, impulse response and variance decomposition, combined with China's development of low-carbon economy, in the years between1978 to 2012 , four results has been showed: First, China's economic growth and energy consumption exist a stable long-run equilibrium relationship. Second, at the 1% level, there is a two-way Granger causality coal consumption and economic growth. Third, in lag 4, the energy consumption is produced positive effects on economic growth and the impact of coal consumption has maximum affect. Forth, the development and utilization of renewable energy is an effective way to solve China's economic development and energy constraints contradictory.

How to solve air pollution problerms in the process of economic development have arouse policy makers’ attention in China. This paper examines the long-term relationships between industrial gas emission, energy consumption and economic growth in China from 1983 to 2014. Results show that both economic growth and energy consumption have significant effect on industrial gas emission for a long period. Energy consumption is the Granger causality of industrial gas emission at the 5% significant level, but not vice versa. Economic growth is also the Granger causality of industrial air emissions, but not vice versa. In the long term, it is essential to decrease energy consumption in order to attain high air quality. Making energy policy should pay attention to improve efficiency, so as to keep balance between economic growth, energy consumption and environmental protection. When making energy and economy policies, the government need to consider the relationship between energy consumption, economic development and atmospheric protection so as to seek a balance between energy , economy and environment protection.

Energy consumption and economic growth are inseparable, along with the constant expansion of the economy, increasing energy consumption in China, a huge energy consumption is greatly beyond the capacity of China's energy supply, while causing serious environmental pollution, the threat of China sustainable economic development. In this paper, China's energy consumption and economic growth analysis of the relationship between research, through error correction model to arrive at energy consumption and economic growth of the long-term equilibrium relationship, and accordingly put forward a sound proposal related to this relationship, for the government to take certain economic reforms was provided.
