This paper investigated and determined the subjective evaluation indicators of comfort in lighting environment for elderly in nursing institutions. Factor analysis method was utilized and the result showed that the recognition of space and figures, sense of security from even illumination, convenience of switch control and no glare were the main factors. The conclusion of the study was not only used to evaluate the lighting environment quality, but also used to guide the design of lighting environment in nursing institutions.

Abstract: Project Management Office (PMO) is a tool used to control the projectsconducted at PT. PLN. In general, the PMO factors in a project will have a positiveeffect on project performance. This study aims to determine the most influentialPMO factors in the implementation of PMO on the performance of the existingprojects in PT. PLN. The research population was 54 project coordinators andadministrative officers of the PMO system with the final sample consisted of 43respondents. Classification and interrelationship between roles will be analyzedusing factor analysis method. The results showed that the main factors influencingthe implementation of PMO on the performance of electricity infrastructure projectswere the factors of process, standard, methodology, human resource, and facility. Keywords: PMO, Project Performance, Electricity Infrastructure, Factor Analysis.Abstrak: Project Management Office (PMO) digunakan sebagai alat (tool) untukmengontrol proyek-proyek yang ada di PT PLN. Of the various types of mobile payments available, DANA is one of the fast growing payment applications in Indonesia. There are many payment applications issued by banks and other parties. DANA is a startup that was officially introduced on March 21, 2018 as one of the digital payment services. This study aims to analyze quantitatively what factors influence consumers in using the DANA application when conducting transactions. To measure the developed model, a confirmatory factor analysis model will be used. The sampling technique used in this study was to use a questionnaire. The respondents are 100 who had used the DANA payment application. The obtained data were processed using the CFA factor analysis method (confirmatory analysis factor). The results show that there are three main factors that influence the choice of DANA payment applications including convenience, compatibility, and knowledge.

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the decisions of Muslim entrepreneurs in using Islamic bank financing products and their influence on Business performance in MSMEs. The research method used is the factor analysis method (Exploratory Factor Analysis) and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there are 2 (two) main factors that determine the behaviour of entrepreneurs in using Islamic bank financing, namely external drives, and internal references. A profit-sharing system is the most important factor for customers in deciding to use Islamic bank financing products. The factors of using these financing products have a significant effect on the performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

As an important index reflecting residential quality, the lighting environment level of residential buildings exerts tremendous influence on both physical and psychological health of residents. Taking a typical rural house in Weihe Plain as example, with indoor lighting environment test, lighting habits of the resident and Ecotect software, the paper studies indoor lighting environment quality of rural residential buildings in Weihe Plain and analyzes the influence of residential buildings' design on lighting environment. The result shows that rural residents in Weihe Plain usually don’t attach due importance to the lighting environment quality of living space, and the design of indoor space goes against effective utilization of natural light. Thus, the paper eventually brings forward a method to consummate the lighting environment of rural residential buildings and explores the buildings’ potential of saving energy by making use of natural light.

Purpose This study aims to focus on developing the sustainability reporting index (SRI) with combined perspectives from varied social rating agencies, along with integrated combined perspectives from academics experts and Indonesian companies. Design/methodology/approach The first section discusses the theoretical framework along with the sustainability challenges faced by companies in Indonesia. The second section develops the methodology of the study to measure the SRI by considering practical and theoretical perspectives, starting from the identification of initial disclosure, selecting the final disclosure and developing the hierarchical framework. Lastly, the third section confirms the validity of the study’s framework by the exploratory factor analysis method and its comparability by comparing the content analysis result of the study with the Kinder–Lydenberg–Domini (KLD) method. The content analysis was used to analyze annual reports, sustainability reports and companies’ websites based on indicators found in the resulted model. Findings The main finding is the SRI framework (SRIF) of the study, which is built on the basis of the stakeholder relationship theory and is focused on three main dimensions (social, economic and environmental). Specifically, the framework consists of 17 indicators and 93 sub-indicators. On the basis of factor analysis method, it can be safely said that the study’s SRIF is quite valid. The high score of correlations between the SRIF and KLD results at the composite and dimension levels, along with the statistically significant results show that the study’s SRIF results and KLD results are fairly similar. Research limitations/implications The present study has its limitation as it only gathers data from publicly available reports issued by the firms (secondary data). Owing to time limitation, primary data are not collected. However, this is also the strength of this research as it will allow investors to replicate the study’s methodology to measure companies’ sustainability. Practical implications The study is useful to organizations and statutory bodies toward finding a replicable method to measure the Indonesian companies’ social performance. In addition, the study also introduced the usefulness of the qualitative program Atlas TI to perform content analysis, the exploratory factor analysis method to ensure validity and comparability by comparing it to the KLD methodology, which is known globally as the most widely accepted methodology to measures social performance. Lastly, this study will provide implications to the Government to ascertain the level of SRI reporting among the Indonesian public-listed companies. Originality/value The resulted framework in this study simultaneously considers social, environmental and economic factors in the context of companies in Indonesia, while previous researchers have constructed reporting index separately (i.e. Sumiani et al., 2007; Zhao et al., 2012). Especially in the context of Indonesia, there is no such index simultaneously focused on the three main dimensions, namely, social, environmental and economics. The current study tries to fill the gap by using the constructed SRI index based on three perspectives combined, namely, social rating agencies, academic theorist and Indonesian companies.

Online grocery retail services are a new trend in Indian urban cities. The two large players namely Grofersand Big Basket attracting customers. The study is an attempt to understand the changing scenario in grocery retail sector. The prime objective of the study is to explore the factors that are attracting customers to choose e retail for Groceries. The data was collected through questionnaire from 100 respondents. Factor analysis (Principle Component Analysis method) was used to explore the influencing factors. These results have shown that mainly customer service, convenience, loyalty rewards, product vailability and payment options are attracting the customers to choose Grophers and Big Basket. These companies have a huge untapped markets and will easily convert the habits of customers in Urban areas.

The paper regards a specific class of optimization criteria that possess features of probability. Therefore, constructing objective function of optimization problem, the importance is attached to probability indices that show the probability of some criterial event or events to occur. Factor analysis has been taken for the main method of constructing objective function. Algorithm for constructing objective function of optimization is done for criterion of minimization risk level in multimodal transportations that demanded demonstration data. The application of factor analysis in classical problem solution was shown to give the problem a more distinct analytical interpretation in solving it.
