In this paper an attempt has been made to identify the important determinants of retained earnings in profitable petroleum companies in petroleum sector of India and which have impact on the retention of earnings of petroleum companies under study. Multiple linear regression is used to identify the determinants of retained earnings for a period of sixteen years. Also the importance of retained earnings as a source of finance for petroleum sector companies is also studied in the paper.

This paper presents an experimental investigation on the properties of concrete in which like cement is partially replacing by used nano silica and is partially replacing by used waste foundry sand. Because now a day the world wide consumption of sand as cement and as fine aggregate in concrete production is very high. Nano silica and waste foundry sand are major by product of casting industry and create land pollution. The cement will be replaced with nano silica and the river sand will be replaced with waste foundry sand (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%). This experimental investigation was done and found out that with the increase in the nano silica and waste foundry sand ratio. Compression test has been done to find out the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7, 14, 21, and 28. Test result indicates in increasing compressive strength of plain concrete by inclusion of nano silica as a partial replacement of cement and waste foundry sand as a partial replacement of fine aggregate.

Queuing Theory provides the system of applications in many sectors in life cycle. Queuing Structure and basic components determination is computed in queuing model simulation process. Distributions in Queuing Model can be extracted in quantitative analysis approach. Differences in Queuing Model Queue discipline, Single and Multiple service station with finite and infinite population is described in Quantitative analysis process. Basic expansions of probability density function, Expected waiting time in queue, Expected length of Queue, Expected size of system, probability of server being busy, and probability of system being empty conditions can be evaluated in this quantitative analysis approach. Probability of waiting ‘t’ minutes or more in queue and Expected number of customer served per busy period, Expected waiting time in System are also computed during the Analysis method. Single channel model with infinite population is used as most common case of queuing problems which involves the single channel or single server waiting line. Single Server model with finite population in test statistics provides the Relationships used in various applications like Expected time a customer spends in the system, Expected waiting time of a customer in the queue, Probability that there are n customers in the system objective case, Expected number of customers in the system

With the advent of globalization, urbanization and modernization, water degradation has become an major concern today. Farming in India is still done as per traditional method that requires plenty of usage of water. Drip system has resolved this issue to some extent. But this system has suffered with overhead of continuous parameter checking and manual control. This paper focuses on designing of a smart drip irrigation system that comprises of sensing the moisture of soil which automatically controls switching of pump and valve with low consumption of available power. Automatic sensing of parameters remotely controls the drip valves of system. User friendly interface allows irrigation control with ease and less efforts. The moisture sensor will continuously sense the moisture content in the soil. The temperature sensor continuously monitors the temperature and if it is above threshold value then spraying system will turn on which will reduce crop temperature.

An ideal on a set X is a non empty collection of subsets of X with heredity property which is also closed under finite unions. The concept of generalized closed sets was introduced by Levine. In this paper, I introduce and investigate the concept of generalized pre-closed sets with respect to an ideal.

There are so many diseases which are caused because of unfiltered water. In the market many products are available for filtration of water, but all that product needs a huge amount of cost for maintenance and installation process. So there is the need for filtration of water at low cost and efficiently. For that there will be an automated system which takes payment in advance and then supplies the water according to the purchased plan ,which is based on the user's needs. Hence the purpose of this project is to develop a system which is based on prepaid payment for water supply and monitoring water supply system for housing society. Water supply is measured by using flow control to control the flow of water according to the usage of the user. By doing this we can decrease the rate of human errors. All payment transactions are recorded in the system for further reference. This System evolves Automatically because it detects the recharge details from the message. After that it will give supply to that user according to their recharge details. This System is fully automated which can overcome the problems of improper bill creation, delay in bill availability and delay in payment process. Also system notify users for upcoming recharge and for water consumption.

The world is full of automation and the people living in this world are surrounded with automated systems. Industries, business sectors, even homes are being automated. Operating various home appliances conveniently along with saving energy are the prominent factors possessed by Smart Home. A quick increase is seen in people's needs in order to develop the social economy of appliances present in a house. If we look at the existing system, we have Google home and Amazon echo which provide functionalities such as switching on/off appliances remotely from anywhere. This paper primarily focuses on a smart home system which allows users to control any electrical appliance using their smart phone google assistant. Apart from this the system also helps in keeping a track on air quality, sound and light intensity, temperature and humidity of home. It also provides analysis of the aforesaid parameters using various graphical methods. It starts the appliance itself on detecting human motion and notifies the user about the same so in case if there is an intrusion the user will come to know about the same. It also takes care of user’s safety as it informs about gas leakage and fire detection preventing any major damage. The need for integration is seen in society, as the idea of a Smart home system is still a new research area. Convenience, security, time management, and connectivity act as prominent factors to motivate and build a system like Smart Home. This paper hence provides a detailed inspection on the architecture, procedures, technologies required for a smart home system. The best protocols and technical solution acquired in the IOT Based Smart Home Assistant are discussed in the paper.

The non performing assets (NPAs) or bad loans, as we understand generally, have always been one of the key challenges for Indian banks and financial institutions and they have been adversely affecting the sustainability of these financial service providers. While performing the basic function of extending credit in order to earn interest income, however, it is also important for these institutions to have an efficient and effective credit risk assessment mechanism in place, so that, a proper balance between profitability and sustainability is maintained. Credit scoring models are one of the most important components of credit risk assessment mechanism and banks and financial institutions of many developed countries have developed credit scoring models based on advanced technologies. On the contrary, most of the Indian banks are still dependent on the traditional way of developing credit scoring models, which might be a deterrent against ensuring safe credit policy amidst the COVID – 19 pandemic.

The Covid 19 coronavirus disease had been observed in Wuhan province of China, Which is now spreading all over the world. This disease is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). We will cover the basics about this disease such as its symptoms, preventive measures and treatments. Although it will be very vast area of research many questions arises which requires answers, still we hope that this review helps in understanding this disease.

The stability is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of the power system, it is a decisive factor to limit the transmission distance and conveying capacity of the power system. Therefore, various measures must be taken to improve the system stability. The stability of the power system includes power angle stability, voltage stability and frequency stability. Among them, the power angle stability includes static stability and transient stability. Considering the importance of stability to the power system, the power system stability analysis methods and the measures to improve the power system stability is studied, so as to provide some useful reference for the safe and reliable operation of the power system. Generally, for multi-machine system transient stability becomes a major concern of wide power system due to load demand increasing day by day. In order to withstand disturbances with power quality issues requires evaluation of power system’s ability. There are many different kinds of methods for analysis of transient stability usually for multi-machine system. These methods include extended equal area criteria, time domain analysis and direct stability methods such as the transient energy function.
