The environment-friendly silicone-modified acrylate is made through the emulsion of the polymerization. Research shows that time of organic silicon prepolymerization, quantity of organic silicon graft copolymerization, catalysts and its dosage, dosage of the coupling agent have significantly effect on the acrylate adhesives polymerization process and performance of product. The polysiloxane can resistant to heat and is hydrophobic, breathe freely and feels soft smooth. It can improve the water resistance of the film, and stanning resistance, softness and significant flexibility and wet rubbing fastness and so on.

Sodium acrylate (NaAA) and acrylamide (AM) were grafted onto poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) using potassium persulfate as an initiator, Graft copolymerization namely poly (vinyl alcohol)-g-poly (acrylamide/sodium acrylate) (PVA-g-PAM/SAC). The poly (vinyl alcohol)-g-poly (vinylamine/sodium acrylate) (PVAMC) was prepraed by Hofmann rearrangement.The PVAMC homogeneous membrane was characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The water resistance of the PVAMC membranes is the best when pH of the PVAMC solutions was 4, at that time the numbers of-NH3+ and-COO- groups trended to be equal, so the isoelectric point was pH=4. At 90 °C the pervaporation of PVAMC composite membrane was tested and showed that the separation factor and the permeate flux were about 1001 and 1341 g/(m2·h) for 90wt% ethanol aqueous solution, and they were about 1297 and 1040 g/(m2·h) for 90wt% isopropanol aqueous solution.

The refrigerant mixtures provide an important direction in selecting new environment-friendly alternative to match the desirable properties with the existing halogenated refrigerants or future use in the new devices, in which, HFCs refrigerants with zero ODP combined with HCs refrigerants with zero ODP and lower GWP are of important value in the fields of application. In the present work, research on HFC125/HC290 (25/75 by mass) binary refrigerant mixture used in heat pumps was carried out, and parameters, factors affecting the performance were investigated, and compared with that of HCFC22 under the same operating conditions. It has been found that the new mixture can improve the actual COP by 2 to 13% and hence it can reduce the energy consumption by 20 to 31.5%. The overall performance has proved that the new refrigerant mixture could be a promising substitute for HCFC22.

Adhesion, physicomechanical properties, and also kinetics of water absorption of priming coatings on basis the E-41 epoxy resin modified by liquid Thiokol 1 and by Laproxide AF, and also their phase structure are investigated. As hardeners of primer compositions organic silicon ammine ASOT-2 and low-molecular polyamide PO-200 has been used. It is shown that use of the reactive modifier Laproxide AF and hardener ASOT-2 in the epoxy and thiokol film-formers allows to receive priming coating with uniform finely divided phase structure with low porosity and high water resistance.

Anionic polyamide-6 (APA-6) composites are prepared by the VARIM process using different modified ramie fabrics to study the structure and properties of different composites. This study can not only evaluate the optimal modification method for the ramie fabrics, but also further explore the interface interaction mechanism between ramie fabrics and APA-6. In this article, the ramie fabrics are modified by a pretreatment, coupling agent and alkali modification. Different modification methods have different effects on the structure, surface properties and mechanical properties of ramie fabrics, which will further affect the impregnation process, interfacial and mechanical properties of the composites. Through the performance analysis of different modified ramie fabrics reinforced APA-6 composites, the conversion, crystallinity and molecular weight of these composites are at a high level, which indicate that the polymerization of these composites is well controlled. The coupling agent modified ramie fabrics composites and the pretreated ramie fabrics composites have higher flexural modulus, tensile strength and dynamic mechanical properties. Alkali-modified ramie fabrics composites have slightly lower mechanical properties, which however have the highest interlaminar shear strength and outperformed interface properties of the composites.

As a new environment-friendly waterproof material, polymer cement waterproof coating combines the rigidity of cement and the flexibility of polymer materials. The ratio of the liquid powder、the ratio of the C/P、the dosage of stuffing、the coating-forming additives、the defoamer were discussed to investigate their effect on the waterproof materials’ water resistance and water proofness.
