COVID-19 has become a global pandemic, and one of the government's actions in the education sector to prevent transmission through online class activities or online classrooms has been adopted. During the pandemic, it was discovered that using computers with improper or non-ergonomic body postures during online classes might cause muscular fatigue and raise the incidence of musculoskeletal problems. Using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, this study seeks to detect musculoskeletal complaints and assess the posture of UMM students when using a laptop. Because online learning lasts more than 2 hours, posture that is not in accordance with the comfort of using a laptop can lead a person to exhaust more rapidly in front of a laptop for a relatively long period, especially in the upper neck, back, and waist, which stand for 80% of the body parts. This is supported by the study of respondents using a questionnaire distribution technique that provided a REBA score of 7 and a moderate risk level, indicating that remedial action is required. After a recommended improvement with a low risk level for MSDs, a REBA score of 3 was established. Suggestions that can be considered are that it is necessary to improve sitting work posture, it is recommended to work on a table and sit in a reclining chair so that the proposed work posture improvement can be carried out.

One of the non-object cultural heritages owned by the Indonesian people is batik. Batik is a typical Indonesian cloth spread throughout the archipelago. The process of making batik is mostly still traditional, starting from the process of making patterns on the mori cloth to the process of preparing the cloth, giving patterns, nglowong / canting, isen-isen, nembok, first coloring / medel, ngerok, mbironi stage, second coloring / greeting , nglorod and washing batik. In this batik-making process, the batik workers work continuously with a detailed type of work and the work posture of the batik is on a chair that is not designed with the dimensions of the body of the batik maker. This is if the work posture is not improved, it creates a potential risk of muscle fatigue or musculoskeletal disorder. The method used in this research is quantative. The data taken in this study is the data on the size of the batik work posture when sitting on a chair. Then the data is analyzed using the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method using ergofellow software to determine the risk of work posture. The result of this research is the potential risk of the work position of Muria Batik Kudus UMKM batik makers with the REBA method resulting in a score of 9 (Nine), which means that they have risk criteria at a high level. The potential risk that is at a high level should immediately improve the work posture of the batik which is supported by changes in work facilities. Batik makers who have the potential for high levels of risk can result in muscle fatigue in certain parts of the body and decreased levels of productivity.

PT. X is a company engaged in the textile industry in Bandung. In one of the departments it owns, namely the weaving department, there are a number of machines to roll the yarn into sheets of cloth. Among these machines, there are 2 engines, namely Pirn Winder (PW) and Two For One (TFO) machines, which have almost the same function, which is rolling thread. In both machines, problems were found, namely operators working with a high workload, especially from repetition factors and poor work postures, so operators often complained of pain in their body parts. This is evident from the results of the preliminary research using the QEC method that the operator on the machine has an exposure level of more than 60% so that changes in the existing working conditions are needed. Using the method of Assessment Repetitive Task (ART) and REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment carried out measurement of repetitive working conditions that occur and also carried out measurements of the actual work posture. Then, the design of a tool in the form of a machine to reduce repetitions that occur must be done by the operator and improve operator work posture while working. The results were simulated using software and found out that the risk of repetition, posture has been reduced and there is a time savings of 67%.

Background: The automotive industry is heavily affected by sick leaves caused by the handling of loads and using postures that produce musculoskeletal disorders. Research is needed to analyse their causes and find possible solutions to eliminate or mitigate these risks. Objective: Our objective was to analyse the level of musculoskeletal risk in the different work tasks performed by truck and bus mechanics. Our intention is also to analyse whether postural training and feedback can help reduce risk. Methods: The rapid entire body assessment (REBA) was used to assess the postures performed by 35 mechanics from eight branches throughout Spain. The participants were subsequently divided randomly into two groups (experimental group and control group). The experimental group (EG) was given training and feedback on their postures and the control group (CG) was not offered any type of intervention. A few months after the initial assessment, their postural load in the usual tasks was re-evaluated. Results: An overall average REBA Score: 10.49 ± 1.33. The main risk was found in the trunk and arms with sustained above-the-head postures. EG’s second results are significantly improved compared to the first (p = 0.026 *). Conclusions: These jobs have a high-risk level of musculoskeletal disorders. The course of action presented with postural training and feedback has shown satisfactory results. Nevertheless, given the size of the sample, further research will be needed to delve deeper into this possibility as a future line of intervention.

Musculoskeletal problems are problematic in Indonesia because manual work activities such as lifting, transporting, pulling and pushing are still being done. Pottery-making workers in the Kasongan are still doing those moves traditionally such as lifting, transporting, pulling and pushing manually. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk of MSDs in the pottery making workers in Kasongan. This research was cross sectional design. The sample amounted to 78 workers selected using accidental sampling techniques. The instruments used Nordic Body Map questionnaire and Rapid Entire Body Assessment. Data analysis was using the chi fisher test. The results showed that the variables associated were age (sig= 0.000) and variables that had no relationship were gender (sig= 0.341) and work posture (sig= 0.352). The risk factor associated with complaints of MSDs is age, so to reduce the risk of the occurrence of MSDs, they can do physical activity or stretch muscles.
