This study aims to determine the implementation of the subsidized fuel oil (BBM) policy in Gorontalo City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used interview techniques and focus group discussion (FGD). The results showed that the communication of the implementation of the subsidized fuel policy in the city of Gorontalo was well implemented. The socialization was carried out through coordination with all relevant stakeholders, the unfolding of notification banners related to the Subsidized Fuel policy at each gas station point. Resources, in order to support the implementation of the subsidized fuel policy in Gorontalo City, are not sufficient. It can be seen from the minimal number of gas stations that distribute subsidized fuel and the low volume of fuel supplied for each subsidized fuel. The attitude of the implementer/disposition towards the subsidized fuel policy in Gorontalo City is not very good. It can be seen from the attitude of the government and other stakeholders that they do not care about the distribution of subsidized fuel to non-target groups, as in this case it is given to retailers only. The bureaucratic structure does not work optimally, it can be seen from the absence of officers from either the government, Pertamina or other stakeholders at each gas station point who should be in charge of controlling and supervising the distribution of Subsidized Fuel.

School Feeding Programme (SFP) is the provision of food to primary day-school children. It is an intervention designed to support the education of children living in poverty and food insecure areas. It is viewed as a potential safety net and social support measure that help keep children in school and make them learn. The study was designed to establish the sustainability of school feeding programme in Zambia with specific focus on Western Zambia. A descriptive survey design was used. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The instruments that were used in data collection included questionnaires, interviews and focus group discussion guides. This research was conducted in nine of the sixteen districts of Western Zambia. The sample consisted of four hundred fifteen respondents drawn from the targeted population. Simple sampling and purposive sampling procedures were used to select the respondents. Qualitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics while qualitative data were done using the thematic approach. The findings of the study revealed that SFP in most schools was not sustainable because it relied mostly on external support and also showed that the challenges faced the implementation of SFP were diverse. Few Schools that revealed SF was sustainable attributed the sustainability to the school projects they were engaged in. It was also disclosed that Home Grown School Feeding (HGSF) was identified as the best option for effective and sustainable SFP. The study recommends the need for the government to revamp the production unit in all the schools; for correct assessment of local and national capacity, and the need for complimentary investment in local agricultural production to ensure smooth programme operation and sustainability.

The discussion about the use, or not, of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by gas station attendants has been growing, in the contemporary context, due to the expansive increase in the consequences generated by the absence of this essential equipment at gas stations. The present study highlighted the importance of raising awareness among the attendants regarding their working conditions, mainly due to the high exposure to toxic compounds. At this core, resistance to use PPE by these workers comesfrom sociocultural issues that notoriously influence the conditionsimposed by this service. In this logic, the case study, determined by the book of Research Methodology by Marconi and Lakatos (2003), thistheme is based on data collection at gasstationsin the city of Salvador- BA, in 2021, to highlight the situations faced by these professionals and, consequently, the impacts on their quality of life and health. Urban Green Space Development has become a challenging task for city governments especially in Indonesia, due to high prices of land around urban centers. On the other hand, there are inconsistencies between land use and land allocation within the city planning. In Surabaya City, quite a lot of gas stations were built on areas which are originally intended for green open spaces. Surabaya City Municipality is strongly committed to reconvert Gas Station Areas to green open spaces as determined in the plan. Innovative strategies have enabled the city government to reconvert 13 gas stations to public parks. This paper analyzes the implementation process of the Urban Green Space Reconversion Policy, describing the historical details of the issues, the  taking over of land from gas station owners, and the park development and campaigning. Discussion also includes the most influential factors in this success story.

Gasoline or fuel oil is a necessity for society, especially for motor vehicle owners. In Indonesia, Pertamina as one of the fuel suppliers cooperates with the private sector to offset business competition with gas stations from abroad. In terms of Pertamina gas stations that are partnering with the private sector, cheating is not uncommon, such as the dosage of fuel oil that is not in accordance with the truth. As happened at Pertamina gas station in Rempoa area where the perpetrators involved 3 gas station managers and 2 gas station employees using additional equipment installed in the fuel dispenser and controlled using a remote control. With the existence of criminal sanctions in both laws, Act No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and Act No. 2 of 1981 concerning Legal Metrology, so that the actions of these perpetrators can be criminally accountable as can be seen in the Decision of the South Jakarta District Court Number 870/Pid.B/2016/PN.JKT.SEL. How is the application of criminal sanctions on Decision No. 870/ Pid.B/2016/PN.JKT.SEL. reviewed from Act No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and Act No. 2 of 1981 concerning Legal Metrology? The author use normative legal research and uses interview data as supporting data. The results of the study revealed that the criminal sanctions imposed on the three gas station managers were considered appropriate even though the maximum sentence was not applied, but the judges had their own freedom and legal considerations in deciding cases.
