Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) untuk menghasilkan media zoom pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Google Class Room pada mata kuliah umum, (2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan  pengembangan media zoom pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Google Class Room, (3) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar yang efektif terhadap zoom pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Google Class Room pada mata kuliah umum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan produk Borg and Gall yang dipadu dengan model desain pembelajaran dari Dick and Carey. Metode penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahapan, yang mana pada tahap pertama merupakan tahap uji coba produk yang terdiri dari: (1) validasi ahli materi pelajaran, (2) validasi ahli desain pembelajaran, (3) validasi ahli media pembelajaran, (4) uji coba perorangan, (5) uji coba kelompok kecil, dan (6) uji coba lapangan terbatas; adapun pada tahap kedua merupakan uji efektifitas produk dengan cara: (1) menguji normalitas data penelitian, (2) menguji homogenitas data penelitian, (3) menguji hipotesis penelitian, dan (4) menghitung nilai efektifitas zoom yang dikembangkan. Subjek uji coba produk dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua ahli materi mata kuliah umum, dua ahli desain pembelajaran, dua ahli media pembelajaran, tiga orang mahasiswa untuk uji coba perorangan, sembilan mahasiswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan tiga puluh orang mahasiswa untuk uji coba lapangan terbatas. Data-data tentang kualitas produk  pengembangan ini dikumpulkan melalui angket dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) uji ahli materi berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (94,11%), (2) uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (85,26%), (3) uji ahli media pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (86 %), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (82,74%), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (86,66%), dan (6) uji coba pada lapangan terbatas berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (86,78%). Dengan demikian, pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media zoom pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Google Class Room dan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran tanpa zoom.

Educational strategies are designed to cope with and fulfill the multifarious pedagogical and educational needs of teachers and learners. Moreover, no educational plan can possibly yield the required results without incorporating suitable instructive strategies. This research paper advocates the role and importance of schemas in learning new forms of knowledge and data in the perspective of class room teaching-learning. Cognitive approach is adopted to understand how students learn new forms of knowledge and experiences through different mental processes, quite unlike that of behaviorism. The concept of schema helps us understand how learners can link new pieces of information to the already existing knowledge in their minds. The notion of ‘Constructivist Approach’ has been extracted from the field of educational psychology for triangulation. Extracts are taken from the textbooks of English used in matriculation and intermediate through purposive sampling. Their analysis shows that schemas can play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience and making new forms of knowledge a permanent part of the memory of students which is the ultimate goal of education.

This is a descriptive cross-sectional study that was carried out at Khartoum Stateduring the school year 20112/2012 to estimate the prevalence of obesity among schoolchildren aged 6-15 years and to investigate the relationship between BMI (Body MassIndex) and socioeconomic status and life style factors. Two hundred and fifty pupilsparticipated in this study. The researcher took the anthropometric measurement insidethe class room and gave the questionnaire the students to be answered by one of child’sparents. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS Version 13.0).In this study, prevalence of obesity was found to be (48%) of them 18% males and 30%females. Income of the family, number of high caloric carbonated beverages/week, wayof transportation to school, length of daily playing outside the home, and time spentin watching TV and video games were significantly correlated with student’s BMI.While parent’s BMI was not having significant correlation with student’s BMI.This study is considered as the first study in its field regarding this age category inKhartoum State, and it is promoting future researches in obesity and its determinant.Key words: Obesity in relation to risk factors and socioeconomic conditions amongschool-age children

Education for sustainable development (ESD) enjoys a huge momentum worldwide in which the role of teachers for making sustainable development goals a reality has been recognized significantly. Teachers through their knowledge, attitudes and skills can bring the learning about these concepts to the curriculum and class room interaction and are in a position to influence their students. Therefore it is pertinent, that teachers are sensitised towards these issues, so that they prepare and nurture their students for making appropriate and responsible choices which contribute to a sustainable future. At this juncture it becomes crucial to understand their priorities and awareness level in context of the sustainable development. The present research paper aims to analyse the perception of forty post graduate pre-service teachers of the Chandigarh region, towards ESD through the dimensions of economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, social sustainability and cultural sustainability. For this researchers have adopted qualitative content analysis methodology for an in-depth study of the subjective responses through an open ended question. The findings suggest that most of the respondents associated the perception of ESD strongly with environmental sustainability. It is noted that the pre-service teachers lack a holistic approach towards ESD. On the basis of the findings it is recommended that there is an urgent need of integrating the concept of ESD consciously and conscientiously in India’s teacher education programmes.

This study investigated the influence of personality on the class room management of IXth standard students in Madurai district. Psychoanalysts believe man’s behaviour is triggered mostly by powerful hidden forces within the personality. Sigmund Freud, an Australian physician was the originator of this theory in the early nineties He says much of people’s everyday behaviour is motivated by unconscious forces about which they know little. In order to fully understand personality then one need to illuminate and expose what is in the unconscious. Class room management is very important task in the teaching learning process. Without class room management skill teaching skill has made no effect in the class room. In the study the researcher take IX standard students in Madurai district. In this study researcher proved the above statement. He Proved that the classroom management is directly related with the personality.
