As a value concept of Western capitalism, consumerism culture is the manifestation and new carrier of Western ideology in contemporary society. With the development of globalization, the characteristics of extreme individualism, hedonism, and commodity fetishism of consumerism culture have biased guidance and negative influence on the mainstream ideology of college students. As the main front of talent training, universities must adhere to the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology, avoid the multiple hidden penetration and diffuse transmission of consumerist ideology, and make full use of the communication advantages of "Internet +" to strengthen the mainstream ideology The guiding role of the students is to guide students to strengthen the "four self-confidence", form an internal ideological and cultural consciousness, and build a reasonable and scientific consumer culture atmosphere.

This work presents a novel work for the detection of the freshness of eggs stored at room temperature and refrigerated conditions by the near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy and multivariate models. The NIR spectroscopy of diffuse transmission and reflection modes was used to compare the quantitative and qualitative investigation of egg freshness. It was found that diffuse transmission is more conducive to the judgment of egg freshness. The linear discriminant analysis model (LDA) for pattern recognition based on the diffuse transmission measurement was employed to analyze egg freshness during storage. NIR diffuse transmission spectroscopy showed great potential for egg storage time discrimination in normal atmospheric conditions. The LDA model discrimination rated up to 91.4% in the prediction set, while only 25.6% of samples were correctly discriminated among eggs in refrigerated storage conditions. Furthermore, NIR spectra, combined with the synergy interval partial least squares (Si-PLS) model, showed excellent ability in egg physical index prediction under normal atmospheric conditions. The root means square error of prediction (RMSEP) values of Haugh unit, yolk index, and weight loss from predictive Si-PLS models were 4.25, 0.031, and 0.005432, respectively.

Lighting-emitting diodes are widely applied in lighting systems, and diffusers are commonly used in systems for indirect illumination. In this paper, a design method of diffuse transmission free-form surface combined with collimation lens array is proposed. Based on the Lambertian characteristics of lighting-emitting diodes and the principle of collimation lenses, a mathematical model of diffuser with ideal diffuse transmission free-form surface is established. We propose a method of the preset collimation surface to connect the free-form surface and the collimation lens array, and derive the nonlinear algebraic equation of the diffuse transmission free-form surface according to the connection effect of the preset collimation surface. Then, solving the equation numerically by MATLAB, the profile of the diffuse transmission free-form surface is obtained. Finally, the non-sequential ray tracing software TracePro is used to simulate the irradiance distribution of the target plane. The results show better uniformity and higher efficiency comparing with the lighting system using diffuse transmission free-form surface alone and the traditional diffuse transmission lighting system.

In visual diffuse transmission density measurement, it is hard to measure optical density (OD) up to 6.0 because the signal to noise is more than 10E-06. Thus, there are only two methods to find the measurement. One is using a highly sensitive detector with low background noise, and the other is improving the incident light flux with a wide spectrum, including visual scope. A new diffuse optics emitter was designed to realize OD measurements up to 6.0. It uses 235 optical fibers on a hemisphere to collect and feed in the incident flux, then emits this flux by a diffuse opal. Thus, an incident light with a high diffuse coefficient and high incident flux was realized for high OD measurement. This emitter has been used in the new national reference of National Institute of Metrology, China (NIM) for diffuse transmission optical density. According to the measurement result in this reference, the OD can be measured up to 6.6.

Abstract The ability to quickly and accurately model actual atmospheric conditions is essential to remote sensing analyses. Clouds present a particularly complex challenge, as they cover up to 70% of Earth’s surface, and their highly variable and diverse nature necessitates physics-based modeling. The Laser Environmental Effects Definition and Reference (LEEDR) is a verified and validated atmospheric propagation and radiative transfer code that creates physically realizable vertical and horizontal profiles of meteorological data. Coupled with numerical weather prediction (NWP) model output, LEEDR enables analysis, nowcasts, and forecasts for radiative effects expected for real-world scenarios. A recent development is the inclusion of the U.S. Air Force’s World-Wide Merged Cloud Analysis (WWMCA) cloud data in a new tool set that enables radiance calculations through clouds from UV to radio frequency (RF) wavelengths. This effort details the creation of near-real-time profiles of atmospheric and cloud conditions and the resulting radiative transfer analysis for virtually any wavelength(s) of interest. Calendar year 2015 data are analyzed to establish climatological limits for diffuse transmission in the 300–1300-nm band, and the impacts of various geometry, cloud microphysical, and atmospheric conditions are examined. The results show that 80% of diffuse band transmissions are estimated to fall between 0.248 and 0.889 under the assumptions of cloud homogeneity and maximum overlap and are sufficient for establishing diffuse transmission percentiles. The demonstrated capability provides an efficient way to extend optical wavelength cloud parameters across the spectrum for physics-based multiple-scattering effects modeling through cloudy and clear atmospheres, providing an improvement to atmospheric correction for remote sensing and cloud effects on system performance metrics.
