Introduction. Statistical methods of data processing and IT technologies make it possible to introduce new modern methods of hazard and risk analysis in food industry. The research objective was to develop new software that would link together various risk-related production data. Study objects and methods. The research featured food production company LLC Yug (Biysk, Russia) that specializes in functional products and various ready-made software automation solutions. The study also involved statistical methods, methods of observation, collection of primary information, sequential top-down development of algorithms, and the Java programming language. Results and discussion. Food producers have a registration procedure for inconsistencies and violations of permissible limits at critical control points. The authors developed a new software program that allows production line operators to enter data on downtime and other violations of the production process. The program makes it possible for managers to receive up-to-date reports on various criteria, identify violations, and select appropriate corrective actions. This ready-made solution automates the process of accounting and hazard analysis. The program was tested at LLC Yug with the focus on the time that operators and managers needed to register the problem, analyze the data, develop corrective or preventive measures, and apply them. Conclusion. The new software proved to be less time-consuming than standard procedures applied in food industry and made it possible to save the time that operators and managers spent on decision making and reporting.

An effective enterprise means correctly implemented processes. Today, logistics plays an important role in the company, and it influences the processes carried out in production companies, ensuring the implementation of its most important function - production. The article analyses the processes of trading in returnable packaging. The optimisation of these activities was carried out on the basis of a program for simulating logistics processes. The main purpose of the article is to identify the impact of the processes of material delivery and packaging turnover on the functioning of a production company. The article is based on a case study of a manufacturing company. In the discussed case, the FlexSim program was used to simulate logistic processes. The situation presented in the article allows to shorten the time and reduce costs that were necessary for the accepted materials to be made available for processing by introducing returnable packaging, adapted to be transferred directly to production. Suppliers providing them with materials will allow you to bypass the unnecessary process. Such activities also result in the circulation of returnable packaging.

This work presents the application of lean management principle in the area of waste elimination in a powder milk plant of a production company. The existing manufacturing procedure for the company’s plant was evaluated, and a lean manufacturing technique was developed for the plant. To achieve this, a time series analysis was carried out on the econometric data obtained, and a future forecast predicting losses and usage was predicted based on the practised manufacturing procedures. The econometric linear transfer function technique applied to the actual usage and actual loss data obtained filtered the waste in the production process and generated forecast values for actual loss and usage.   This revealed that there had been poor manufacturing practices in the factory. The findings from this research can be used as a guide to managers on wastage control in a production system.

In the future the digitalization and "Industry 4.0” will be in every step of the product lifecycle from design to the manufacture, service, and maintenance. Through digitalization, the companies will be able to operate and program the complex CNC machine tools that will be ready to respond more flexibly to the market demands and at the same time to boost their productivity. Work preparation and production can be breaking down further into additional process steps, ranging from tendering to quality assurance. The demand for digitalization solution can be illustrated thru the following targets and questions what every production company must define and establish: 1. How long time will be the part on the machine to be manufacturi; 2. Is that CNC machine tools (what is able and have the technical characteristics) available; 3. Are necessary new cutting tools for this new job; 4.The CNC operator is familiar with the CNC control equipment; 5. Does the workpiece tolerance correspond with the customer specifications. Is not so easy to link up all this requests and to find the best solutions in time and to have high productivity. Digital manufacturing will give us the preliminary units costs and delivery deadline that must be determined to be able to tender for a job correctly. Today, the amount of time a workpiece will require for machining can be calculated quickly reliably and very important, without trial runs, using CNC simulation solutions. This recommendations from our paper can be an answer at the production companies and the advantage of this implementations is that can be made step by step. The solution of this implementation should be in concordance with the company’s requirements and resources.

Your Face Sounds Familiar, a celebrity talent television format developed by the Dutch production company Endemol and first broadcast in Spain in 2011, has entertained audiences in more than forty countries with the sight of well-known professional musicians impersonating foreign and domestic stars through cross-gender drag and, on many national editions, cross-racial drag, with results that would widely be regarded as offensive blackface where this has already been extensively challenged as racist in public. In central/south-east Europe, however, blackface is sometimes justified by arguing that it cannot be a racist practice because these countries have not had the UK and USA’s history of colonialism and racial oppression. Through a study of the Croatian edition Tvoje lice zvuči poznato (2014–), where until 2020 blackface had rarely been publicly challenged, this paper explores how far a critical race studies lens towards blackface can also be applied there.

Introduction: One of the effective factors in the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders is the mismatch between the mental workload on the person and his abilities and limitations. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of mental workload on the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in Bandar Abbas Production Company. Method: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 2019. The data collection tools included demographic information questionnaires, Nordic musculoskeletal disorders, and NASA-TLX mental workload. The participants were 172 people who were identified using Cochran's formula and simple random sampling. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS25 software. Results: The results indicated that 76.74% of the subjects had musculoskeletal disorders. Most of disorders were reported in the low back (51.16%), knees (38.95%), and neck (23.84%). The mean score of mental workloads in Bandar Abbas Production Company in this study was high (66.67). Among the mental workload subscales, the effort subscale had the highest score (85.32) and the performance subscale had the lowest score (20.00). Statistical tests showed that there was a significant relationship between mental workload and the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, there was a direct relationship between mental workload and the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, measures should be taken to reduce the perceived mental and psychological load, such as reducing working hours, interrupting and resting between working, increasing the variety of working postures, and

The evolution of innovative and systematic design methodologies over time has widened the design concept involvement from the product development phase, which also includes the production and start-up phases. Literature findings have presented to accomplish a Generative Design (GD) approach through the application of an innovative method called Industrial Structure Design (IDeS), a systematic design method able to discover the customer’s needs and the fundamental technical solutions to obtain a good innovative product, involving the whole organization for this achievement. Nevertheless, there is a social demand for solutions to the dramatic and growing problem of marine pollution from plastic materials, encouraging the designers to conceive a new innovative drone for waste collection at sea. Therefore, this study aims to merge all the most advanced design technologies with IDeS in an integrated way, by generating a structure that can also be adopted to plan the organization of a production company. The approach is validated with the design of the Recovery Plastic Drone (RPD) obtained with the IDeS methodology, combining Design and Product development phases, leading to a better and innovative solution for the market.
