Alumni associations are a relatively new phenomenon for Russia, typical, as a rule, for large metropolitan universities with a long history, rich traditions and extensive international relations. In recent years, alumni associations have begun to appear in regional universities. The authors analyze the situation with the development of alumni associations in the flagship universities of the country and in the universities of Volgograd (the chronology and forms of activity are considered). The article summarizes the results of Volgograd State Technical University Alumni Association's first year. Plans, goals and tasks for the further development of the VolgSTU Alumni Association have been developed. The authors show that the dynamic formation of alumni associations can be promising for regional universities as well, serving as platforms for the interaction of regional elites, centres of strategic decisions for regional development and providing communication between generations of alumni.

The Alumni Info-Com Management System is able to manage alumni data of a college and provide easy access to the same. Alumni of college stay in touch with their immediate friends and it is hard to stay connected with college mates. Contact between alumni develops business connections and to gain insight in a new field. Current students will be initially given a student login id. Access to the system can help them to seek help in their projects or for placements. This single system can satisfy almost every requirement of the alumni. Usually, alumni associations are organized in colleges, but may also be organized in a place where the alumni can meet each other. Despite the fact that there are many existing systems in colleges to maintain the alumni information, they are manual and more time consuming to current students to reach out their alumni and maintaining the privacy of the alumni. To overcome these issues, we proposed a web application which allows alumni to update their information and students can connect with them and can view the filtered events posted by alumni and admin through support vector machine algorithm.

Sociological or historical surveys on French elites highlighted at many occasions that "grandes écoles" graduated are over-represented at the top of the socio-professional hierarchy. These surveys showed that social capital constituted by passing through an elite higher educational institution and the co-optation networks among graduates from the same institution is a key asset to reach these prestigious social positions. But little is know on the concrete activation conditions of such relational resources. Focusing on one "grandes écoles" graduates subgroup (the graduates from one of the Ecole Normale Supérieure), our presentation aims to better understand how social capital is activated. Based on in-depth interview analysis and alumni associations archives analysis, we try to shed a light on the activation conditions of such relational school-based resources in diverse professional contexts. On the one hand, we show that crossing the analysis of the legitimate definition of the social link among the graduates and the norms and representations that structure the professional groups reached by graduates is a key insight to understand the relational resources activation possibilities. On the other, we analyze how the struggle within the alumni group to fix the « good » way of define school-based relational resources frame the activation possibilities of such resources.

To overcome these issues, we proposed a web based application which allows alumni to update their information and students can connect with them and can view the filtered events posted by alumni and admin through Support Vector Machine algorithm (SVM). Proposed method, SVM algorithm used to classify the alumni members and their posting message from others in this community.
