Further results on the robustness of the global exponential stability of recurrent neural network with piecewise constant arguments and neutral terms (NPRNN) subject to uncertain connection weights are presented in this paper. Estimating the upper bounds of the two categories of interference factors and establishing a measuring mechanism for uncertain dual connection weights are the core tasks and challenges. Hence, on the one hand, the new sufficient criteria for the upper bounds of neutral terms and piecewise arguments to guarantee the global exponential stability of NPRNN are provided. On the other hand, the allowed enclosed region of dual connection weights is characterized by a four-variable transcendental equation based on the preceding stable NPRNN. In this way, two interference factors and dual uncertain connection weights are mutually restricted in the model of parameter-uncertainty NPRNN, which leads to a dynamic evolution relationship. Finally, the numerical simulation comparisons with stable and unstable cases are provided to verify the effectiveness of the deduced results.

The characteristics and importance of leadership styles to organizational change are of particular importance for the development of organizational culture. This study aims to test leadership styles and the impact of the correlation between leadership style and organizational culture on the level of employees’ readiness across a range of leadership outcome measures. This study provides empirical evidence for the impact of leadership styles on organizational culture and vice versa. A questionnaire was distributed to 450 employees in private organizations in Kosovo. The obtained results show that organizational culture was a significant predictor for both transactional and laissez-faire leadership styles. Based on the dimensions of organizational culture concerning Kosovar leadership styles (transformational, transactional, laissez-faire), their mutual influence dominates more on one variable and less on any other variable as a measuring mechanism for outputs and their interpretation. The study will help the organizations’ leadership understand that their leading style influences the organizational culture and, as such, the employees’ performance. In Kosovo, the concept of organizational culture concerning Kosovar leadership has not been properly developed, and measures should be taken by private businesses to settle this issue.

Wheel flats are a key fault in railway systems, which can bring great harm to vehicle operation safety. At present, most wheel flat detection methods use qualitative detection and do not meet practical demands. In this paper, we used a railway wheel flat measurement method based on a parallelogram mechanism to detect wheel flats dynamically and quantitatively. Based on our experiments, we found that system performance was influenced by the train speed. When the train speed was higher than a certain threshold, the wheel impact force would cause vibration of the measuring mechanism and affect the detection accuracy. Since the measuring system was installed at the on-site entrance of the train garage, to meet the speed requirement, a three-dimensional simulation model was established, which was based on the rigid-flexible coupled multibody dynamics theory. The speed threshold of the measuring mechanism increased by the reasonable selection of the damping coefficients of the hydraulic damper, the measuring positions, and the downward displacements of the measuring ruler. Finally, we applied the selected model parameters to the parallelogram mechanism, where field measurements showed that the experimental results were consistent with the simulation results.

Aiming at the low efficiency and precision of nowadays domestic auto-straightening machine of shafts, a new kind of shafts straightness detection system is researched and developed. The supporting part of the measuring mechanism adopts the mechanical structure of auto-going-down of straightening points supporting pedestal. The whole convolute measuring system fixes on the machine tool orbit sliding table, whose movement can change the position for the straightening point and make positioning faster and more accurate. In addition, this detection system bases on applications math and builds math model by Fourier transform which can separate the elliptical error signal, straightness error signal and impulse error signal and then gained ideal straightness error of shafts.
