Background: As of today, the actual problem in the power sector is to create a device for the collection and transmission of information in networks of different voltage levels. Aim: The research presented in the framework of this article is aimed at creating a universal device intended for use in electrical networks of low and medium voltage in order to collect and transmit information about the parameters of electrical energy at the place of installation of the device. Methods: The study was performed with the use of computer modeling techniques developed electronic devices. Results: A functional diagram of the developed device is given, options for its connection to the network for various conditions and requirements are indicated, and recommendations for use are given. Conclusion: The obtained results can be used by power grid companies and industrial enterprises to analyze the condition and efficiency of power grids.

Background: Videolaryngoscopes are now being advocated as the universal device for airway management due to their ability to provide an improved glottic visualisation. Due to their ability to see around the corners, they obviate the need to align the airway axes and thus may lead to less airway stimulation. This may result in less haemodynamic response during laryngoscopy and intubation. The present study was designed to compare the haemodynamic response to intubation with King Vision and C-MAC videolaryngoscopes. Methods: After obtaining informed consent, adults with unanticipated difficult intubation, scheduled to undergo surgery under general anaesthesia were randomised to be intubated with either King Vision (Group K) or C-MAC (Group C) videolaryngoscope. Following a standardised general anaesthesia induction protocol all subjects were intubated with the allocated videolaryngoscope and haemodynamic parameters (heart rate, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and mean arterial pressure) were recorded at specific time points. Statistical analysis was done using the SPSS Software (version 18.0). Results: The changes in the heart rate, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and mean arterial pressure following laryngoscopy and intubation with the allocated videolaryngoscope were statistically similar between the two groups at all time points. Conclusion: Haemodynamic responses to laryngoscopy and intubation with King Vision and C-MAC videolaryngoscopes were similar.

The features of production factors established at the main workplaces of shoe production are considered. The materials on the results of the study of the functional state of the central nervous system of women workers of shoe production in the dynamics of the working day are presented. The level of functional state of the central nervous system was determined by the speed of visual and auditory-motor reactions, installed using the universal device chronoreflexometer. It was revealed that in the body of workers of shoe production there is an early development of inhibitory processes in the central nervous system, which is expressed in an increase in the number of errors when performing tasks on proofreading tables. It was found that the most pronounced shift s in auditory-motor responses were observed in professional groups, where higher levels of noise were registered in the workplace. The correlation analysis showed a close direct relationship between the growth of mistakes made in the market and the decrease in production. An increase in the time spent on the task indicates the occurrence and growth of production fatigue.Funding. The study had no funding.Conflict of interests. The authors declare no conflict of interests.

The growing development of smart devices makes it possible to create new distributed applications targeted for smart spaces. The design of intelligent spaces assumes that there is an infrastructure to support the applications requirements. Many academic works have proposed middlewares that provide an abstraction for the use of network services. The network services of an smart space, such as an automated home, can have different communications interfaces. Accordingly, we developed a middleware called UDP4US (Universal Device Pipe for Ubiquitous Services) which was designed to abstract different patterns of communication, keeping the discovery of devices on a local network services. In this paper, we present a new UDP4US architecture component that aims to expose the local network devices services to the Internet. The new component was developed with the REST technology, thus the devices services can be discovered and accessed over the Internet. The new component was exhaustively tested in order to find the liits of its effectiveness. The evaluation of the new component was performed by measuring its discovery and execution times plus the success rate of the services execution exposed over the Internet. The results from the present work are important to guide a better design of distributed applications for smart places.

The significant usage of power semi-conductor devices in modern single or multi-feeder distribution system is increasing a lot in present situation. The non-linear characterization of power distribution is highly responsible for degradation of power-quality standards. The usage of large-sized non-linear loads provokes the harmonic pollution, voltage interruptions, voltage sag/swell issues are the key problems faced by distribution systems. Over the various compensation methodologies, the highly validated universal device is Unified-Power Quality Compensator. The multi-feeder universal devices play a prominent role and provide the attractive performance with improved characteristics in multi-feeder distribution system. In this work, Multi-Feeder UPQC device is used to compensate all voltage and current related PQ issues in multi-feeder distribution systems and also furnishes load-sharing between adjacent feeders, reduce the power-shortages, maximizes the stable performance. The performance evaluation of proposed MF-UPQC is verified under various case studies with the help of Computer-Simulation tool, results are validated with improved PQ features.
