AbstractAs a starting point in equipment manufacturing, sawing plays an important role in industrial production. Intelligent manufacturing equipment is an important carrier of intelligent manufacturing technologies. Due to the backwardness of intelligent technology, the comprehensive performance of sawing equipments in China is obviously different from that in foreign countries. State of the art of advanced sawing equipments is investigated along with the technical bottleneck of sawing machine tool manufacturing, and a new industrial scheme of replacing turning-milling by sawing is described. The key technologies of processing-measuring integrated control, multi-body dynamic optimization, the collaborative sawing network framework, the distributed cloud sawing platform, and the self-adapting service method are analyzed; with consideration of the problems of poor processing control stableness, low single machine intelligence level, no on-line processing data service and active flutter suppression of sawing with wide-width and heavy-load working conditions. Suggested directions for further research, industry implementation, and industry-research collaboration are provided.

Background: This paper is prepared to reveal about an urgent industrial scheme for a fast and facile total synthesis of umifenovir (arbidol) (by one-pot stages) as an antiviral agent for treating 2019-nCoV virus via inhibiting its viral replication in the human cells. As COVID-19, takes thousands of lives all around the world, it seems that the medicinal resources would not be enough to supply billions of peoples, currently living on the planet earth. Thus, this pandemic and its subsequent impacts on the natural order of our life, would be one of the most important threats against the entire human race. Aims & Objective: Due to this, in this project, we have made attempts to find an operative approach for synthesizing this compound as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), which showed it could be effective in inhibiting the newly emerged coronavirus. Results: The designed scheme uses relatively cheap precursors, and contains one pot stages, instead of seven time consuming, and more costly, linear steps. Also, it is tried to use safe and cheap solvents like water, and ethanol, instead of toxic ones like methanol, and pyridine which could cause rejection of the API in the organic volatile impurities (OVI) test of pharmacopeia analysis, as well as increasing the concern of inflammability, explosive, and carcinogenic properties of those common solvents. Conclusion: The most important pharmaceutical analytical methods containing OVI test (mainly ethanol (about 171 ppm) much lower than the limits, by gas chromatography-Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID) instrument), Assay content (about 99.6% by potentiometric titration), and related purity analysis (by High performance liquid chromatography-Ultraviolet Detector (HPLC-UV)) (about 99.8%) were performed and described to give a more clear industrial scheme.

The relevance of the paper is that dry magnetic separation (DMS) is the main beneficiation method of magnetite ores. The lack of efficient industrial-grade machines and apparatus for separating fine-grained magnetite ores means that DMS is used mainly as a pre-concentration operation for fairly large classes. The aim of the research is to study the possibility of using a new magnetic separator model in the process of dry beneficiation of magnetite ore from the Bapy deposit. This paper presents theoretical and experimental studies of a new model of a magnetic separator. The mathematical modeling of the magnetic separation process of the device was carried out to evaluate the parameters in accordance with which a laboratory separator was subsequently manufactured. For the experimental study of the properties of this magnetic system, a laboratory magnetic separator was built. The possibility of using a new magnetic separator in the process of dry beneficiation of magnetite ore from the Bapy deposit was investigated. The industrial scheme being implemented consists in ore crushing and two stage dressing on dry drum magnetic separators. The study of beneficiation indicators of the magnetic separator was carried out using iron ore of the Bapy deposit, which is mono-mineral magnetite. For the study, mixtures of the minus 0.1 mm class were selected with the iron content α = 50% and α = 40%. As a result of the research, beneficiation indicators were obtained on a laboratory scale. Therefore, the improvement of the beneficiation scheme is reduced to the isolation of a small product and its subsequent beneficiation using a new model of magnetic separator. Thus, the presented magnetic separator is suitable for dry processing of crushed magnetite ore.

A possibility to use a concentrate of soybean low molecular substances, the BioAccel preparation, as a component of fermentation media for the cultivation of T. reesei Co-44 strain has been studied. BioAccel is a by-product of the soy protein concentrate production with 3D-stracturing technology. T. reesei Co-44 is a highly active producer of cellulases and hemicellulases with an increased level of xylanase and endoglucanase biosynthesis. The addition of 1-9% BioAccel to the fermentation medium significantly improved the xylanase and endoglucanase activity and the dynamics of their biosynthesis during the T. reesei Co-44 cultivation in flasks. The positive effect of BioAccel grew with the increase in its concentration in the medium. The addition of 5% and 7% of the preparation improved the endoglucanase activity by 1.8 times and the xylanase activity by 40-50%. The maximum increase in the xylanase and endoglucanase activity (twice as compared to the control on average) was obtained with the introduction of 9% BioAccel. Fed-batch fermentation of T. reesei Co-44 in laboratory fermenters according to the industrial scheme showed the promise of using BioAccel as a component of the fermentation medium instead of the expensive yeast extract. concentrate of low molecular soybean compounds, Trichoderma reesei, cultivation, xylanase, endoglucanase This work was financially supported by the Basic Research Program of the Russian Academy of Sciences for 2019-2021 (Project no. 0529-2019-0066).

Ferulic acid, a compound showing antioxidant ability, is found in abundance in wheat bran. Its release depends mainly on the breaking of its ester linkage to other constitutive elements of the cell wall, such as arabinoxylans, ligin, cellulose and so on. Response surface methodology and orthogonal design were respectively used to evaluate the effects of NaOH concentration, alkali/ethanol ratio, extraction temperature and pH on ferulic acid extraction yield from wheat bran. The released ferulic acid concentration was determinated by HPLC method Experiments carried out under the predicted optimal conditions, with NaOH concentration of 5.76%, pH of 3.2, alkali/ethanol ratio of 1.39:1, temperature of 59.75 °C, the actual extraction yield in agreement with the expected yield, with 4.45mg.g-1 extraction rate of ferulic acid in wheat bran . And the results confirm the potential of wheat bran valorization in the field of natural antioxidant extraction, possibly viable in an industrial scheme.

AbstractIn this paper, we consider a dead-oil model where the capillary pressure is neglected. In a multidimensional space and for a phase-by-phase upstream weigthing cell-centered finite volume scheme, we prove the pressure estimates, the existence of solutions to the discrete equations and the stability of the saturation calculation. This is done in the explicit case as well as in the implicit case. Some numerical tests show the convergence of the scheme.
