A structural diagram of a hierarchical information and telecommunications system, the most general formulation, as well as a general approach to solving the choosing problem of the systems engineering solutions for the creation (development) of a hierarchical information and telecommunications system, taking into account resource constraints at individual planning stages, are adduced. The complexity estimation of the exact algorithm for solving the assigned task is carried out, the application of an approximate solution method, on the basis of which an algorithm is proposed for solving the problem is justified. Keywords hierarchical information and telecommunication system; complex of automation devices; universal modular communication center

Many fields of science and engineering have used wavelet functions. They are established from expansion of a single mother wavelet function. Boubaker wavelet functions are presented in this paper based on the important properties of Boubaker polynomials. The research goal of this article is to drive a Boubaker wavelets operation matrix of integration in general formulas. Then an approximate solution method for solving a singular initial value problem is presented using Boubaker wavelets along the obtained operational matrix of integration. The importance of this method is that it converts a singular initial value problem in order to solve algebraic examples as a system. The process is based on reducing by means of integration the original problem into integral equations using a Boubaker wavelets operation matrix of integration to predict the integral equation. Illustrative experiments are included. In addition, computational results obtained by a Boubaker wavelets operation matrix of integration are compared with the exact solutions and other existing methods.

In this paper, we propose an approximate solution method, called multistage Bernstein collocation method (MBCM), to solve strongly nonlinear damped systems. The method is given with an error analysis. The systems investigated include step function external excitation and periodical function external excitation. We found that the MBCM gives more accurate approximate solutions than the standard collocation method. Since MBCM splits the domain of the problem [Formula: see text] into n parts, one can overcome oscillations arising from the standard collocation method by increasing n. The results obtained from MBCM compare favorably with that of the fourth-order Runge–Kutta method (RK4).

The purpose of this article is to prove some coincidence point and approximate solution method for generalized weak contraction mapping in b??metric spaces by using the concept of b-generalized pseudodistance. Also, we give some examples to illustrate our main results.

Control of complex systems is one of the fundamental problems in control theory. In this paper, a control method for complex systems modeled by a probabilistic Boolean network (PBN) is studied. A PBN is widely used as a model of complex systems such as gene regulatory networks. For a PBN, the structural control problem is newly formulated. In this problem, a discrete probability distribution appeared in a PBN is controlled by the continuous-valued input. For this problem, an approximate solution method using a matrix-based representation for a PBN is proposed. Then, the problem is approximated by a linear programming problem. Furthermore, the proposed method is applied to design of real-time pricing systems of electricity. Electricity conservation is achieved by appropriately determining the electricity price over time. The effectiveness of the proposed method is presented by a numerical example on real-time pricing systems.
