In the spectral quantitative analysis of scattering solution, the improvement of accuracy is seriously restricted by the nonlinearity caused by scattering, and even the measurement will fail due to the influence of scattering. The important reasons are that the modeling variables are greatly affected by nonlinearity, and the information contained in the modeling data cannot represent the scattering characteristics. In this paper, a method is proposed, in which the spectral data of several optical pathlengths with equal space are combined as the modeling data set of a sample. These highly correlated spectral data contain relatively nonlinear information. The addition of the spectral data provides more options for the selection of principal components in modeling with PLS method. By giving lower weight to the corresponding wavelength which is greatly affected by scattering, the model is insensitive to scattering and the prediction accuracy is improved. Through the spectral quantitative analysis experiment on strong scattering material, the prediction accuracy of the model was 61.7% higher than that of the traditional method and was 58.5% higher than that of the variable sorting for normalization method. The feasibility of the method is verified.

This journal aims to understand the concept of public space if used to see Islamic preaching through social media, especially in Indonesia. By using qualitative methods, this research describes many characteristics of pulik space, media and its relation to Islamic da'wah. Based on the discussions contained in this study explained that at first the understanding of public space changed and developed in every era influenced by the conditions that occurred at that time. In the beginning, public space was only understood as a space or a place to be targeted for certain circles but as it develops, public space becomes a place for everyone who is present in the space is considered the same without distinguishing any background. This means that public spaces are considered as places or spaces where individuals can be present and free to express their opinions, dialogue and debate critically and rationally over the issues faced together without feeling threat or pressure and domination from any party. By going through public space it will produce a common understanding. There are various media that can be used in public spaces, both open space media, mass media to social media. In the context of da'wah, the concept of public space can be an inspiration to develop a model of da'wah amidst the opportunities and challenges faced in the development of social media, namely making the model of da'wah more equal between mad'u and da'i. This da'wah model can be done through several steps, first, providing dialogue and debate space through digital platforms. Second, this forum will discuss about certain topics. Third, open to all parties, both Muslims and non-Muslims and da'i and mad'u present with the same and equal space and portion in terms of expressing opinions. Fourth, mad'u can express his doubts about Islam. Fifth, da'i as a facilitator can also convey his perspective and make clarifications related to misperceptions by mad'u on Islam.

This study attempts to define struggle and challenges black population of USA has been facing since ages and still facing in this 21st century when whole world is heading towards globalisation and post-modernism. As it has been reflected in the history of the nation, racial segregation has always been a part of national society and culture. This racial segregation has led the black population of USA to raise their voice for civil rights as well as equal opportunities in every field. These struggles and challenges before blacks to lead a dignified life have opened the future possibilities where both black and white youth’s understanding of race relations is required. The white youth of America is equally responsible for providing equal space to blacks in American society, culture and politics. Hence, the present study attempts to look at the history of race relations and relevance of race and race relations in the 21st-century USA, with special reference to the current issue of George Floyd in order to explain how status of blacks in the 21st-century USA is affected by this history and attitude of the State.

The pandemic caused by the corona virus has changed the lifestyle of humans, both directly and indirectly, especially generation Z in Jakarta. The way humans meet their primary needs also changes over time. Many of generation Z decide to shop online to meet their individual needs. Generation Z defines balance as one of the things that is seen in living life, including meeting their needs and interacting with others. The Future Market in Gondangdia exists as a forum that provides space for buying and selling transactions to be more interactive, creative, flexible, and in accordance with health protocols. Through dis-programming, combining creative buying and selling programs and public space as one unit in a design is one of the methods used in designing architectural programs. The combination of the two programs creates an equal space with alternate uses depending on time. The emerging market typology method and its relation to Z generation architecture and behavior become a design strategy in designing. This provides an innovative and interactive buying and selling space according to the needs of generation Z. Keywords: Buy and sell spaces; Public spaces; Future markets; Generation Z; Buy and sell; Dis-programming AbstrakPandemi yang disebabkan oleh virus korona telah mengubah gaya hidup manusia, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, khususnya generasi Z di Jakarta.

Indonesia as a country has goals that have been agreed upon by all it’s people. One of the goals of the Indonesian state is to promote general welfare as mandated by the state constitution in the 1945 Constitution. In order to realize the country's goals, Indonesia must undertake development, especially in the economic sector with a populist economic system or economic democracy. Therefore, all forms of economic activity must be based on justice so that development in the economic sector can run conducive. One of the economic sectors that has a very large contribution is the business sector. The government has basically provided equal space or opportunity to all people to carry out business activities with fair competition. However, in practice, many agreements or business activities are found that do not reflect justice for business actors and society in general. In order to prevent and provide clear legal corridors, Indonesia enacted Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) as the implementer of the law. In this law it is regulated in detail and specifically regarding the forms of agreements prohibited in business competition, namely the agreements prohibited by Law No.5 of 1999 are oligopoly, price fixing, zoning, boycotts, cartels, trusts, oligopsony, and vertical integration, closed agreements and agreements with foreign parties, including therein are regulated regarding legal sanctions for those who violate, namely administrative sanctions and criminal sanctions.

Folded quad-mode stub-loaded loop resonators (QMSLLRs) are proposed for realizing both bandpass and dual-band bandpass filters with compact dimensions. The QMSLLR is a folded square loop loaded with four short stubs, providing structure symmetry in both transversal and longitudinal directions. Determined by the lengths of the loaded stubs, the four resonant frequencies as analyzed with even-odd mode method can be either distributed in one passband with equal space, or in two passbands with a guard band in between, for realizing a single-band bandpass filter or a dual-band bandpass filter, respectively. For both the input and output couplings, two perpendicular feeding lines are parallel coupled to the QMSLLR at one corner. The measure results prove that the structure is suitable for the design of a medium band or even narrow band bandpass filters with compact dimensions.

Conducting a participatory action research (PAR) in schools is challenged by traditional asymmetrical power relations between adult teacher-researcher and young student-participants inherent in the school setting. In this article, we present PowerView, a new method that may reduce power hierarchy in the research classroom. Based on postcolonial theory, feminist theories, and critical visual studies, we implemented the idea of ‘reversal-of-the-gaze’ by asking the student-participants in our PAR program to turn their cameras at the instructor-researcher and capture images that represent their point of view of him. Enabling the students’ to gaze back at the instructor-researcher/serial observer with their cameras disrupted the hierarchical power paradigm in the research classroom and created a more equal space. The article will introduce the methodological stages of PowerView and present findings that demonstrate the potential of the method to change power relations between the researcher and students and challenge the power structure at the research classroom.

The Oxford Handbook of Karl Marx provides an entry point for those new to Marxism. At the same time, its chapters, written by leading Marxist scholars, advance Marxist theory and research. Its coverage is more comprehensive than previous volumes on Marx in terms of both foundational concepts and empirical research on contemporary social problems. It also provides equal space to sociologists, economists, and political scientists, with substantial contributions from philosophers, historians and geographers. The Oxford Handbook of Karl Marx consists of seven sections. The first section, Foundations, includes chapters that demonstrate that the core elements of Marx’s political economy of capitalism continue to be defended, elaborated and applied to empirical social science including historical materialism, class, capital, labor, value, crisis, ideology, and alienation. Additional sections include Labor, Class, and Social Divisions; Capitalist States and Spaces; Accumulation, Crisis and Class struggle in the Core Countries; Accumulation, Crisis and Class Struggle in the Peripheral and Semi-Peripheral Countries; and Alternatives to Capitalism.

In this article, we investigate the properties of heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation robust (HAR) test statistics in time series regression settings when observations are missing. We primarily focus on the nonrandom missing process case where we treat the missing locations to be fixed asT→ ∞ by mapping the missing and observed cutoff dates into points on [0,1] based on the proportion of time periods in the sample that occur up to those cutoff dates. We consider two models, the amplitude modulated series (Parzen, 1963) regression model, which amounts to plugging in zeros for missing observations, and the equal space regression model, which simply ignores the missing observations. When the amplitude modulated series regression model is used, the fixed-blimits of the HAR test statistics depend on the locations of missing observations but are otherwise pivotal. When the equal space regression model is used, the fixed-blimits of the HAR test statistics have the standard fixed-blimits as in Kiefer and Vogelsang (2005). We discuss methods for obtaining fixed-bcritical values with a focus on bootstrap methods and find the naivei.i.d.bootstrap with missing dates fixed to be an effective and practical way to obtain the fixed-bcritical values.
