Pedagogical education in a legal higher educational institution

In this paper, the role of pedagogy in higher education and its significance in the system of vocational education are analyzed. The main trends of education, including legal ones, are indicated. The paper also identifies the problems of pedagogical education and suggests ways to address them.

Law schools and employers cooperation as a factor of graduating students` preparation of high quality and their job connection

The article is devoted to evaluation of priority forms of cooperation between institutes and employers, and troubled points, which impede their cooperation. Taking into account identified shortcomings (disadvantages), the most effective forms of cooperation are performed. Moved a motion of supplement to Federal act «Of Education in the Russian Federation» relating to practical studies (job training) of law school students. The model of dual education is subjected to evaluation, this model is considered to be one of the advanced forms of effective cooperation of law schools and employers. Reasoned the offer of practicability and timely adoption the model of dual education for jurist students.

About influence of administrative legislation on maintenance of discipline «Administrative law»

The article deals with the problematic issues of teaching the Administrative Law. The interrelation between administrative law and changes in the organization of state administration is analyzed. Substantiates the proposal to include a section on the institution of administrative justice.

Legal Education in Russia: Past, Present, Future

The article actualizes the question of the quality of legal education in modern Russia, its relationship with the security of society and the state. Unlike the Russian Empire and the USSR, the quality of legal education in the Russian Federation is low. Three main problems of poor quality of education were noted: 1) to obtain a unified master's legal education without a basic bachelor's legal education, that is, people who do not have a first level are admitted to the second level of education; 2) a large number of non-core universities and non-state educational institutions that train lawyers in the absence of the required number of qualified teaching staff: 3) paid education in the specialties on which the life and destiny of a person depends, first of all, medicine and jurisprudence. The author also opposes the practice of providing certificates of non-conviction from the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The prohibition to engage in any activity can be fixed only in the law and only by a court decision.

Multilevel law education: losses and gaining

Training of qualified lawyers is considered to be one of the socially significant problems. The higher law education now includes three, relatively independent levels: law bachelor’s programme, law master’s programme and law specialist’s programme. In 2017 the Russian education’s first ever final assessment in doctor’s degree law programme took place. The author of the article gives her own opinion about advantages and disadvantages of the multilevel law education.

Philosophical background "dehumanitarization" the System of higher legal education

The article examines the problems of the domestic system of higher legal education. The main goal of this work is to analyze the causes of the crisis of modern education. Main causes of the crisis are defined as culturalisation. The author connects them with the ideology of scientism, utilitarianism, positivism, the mainstream in modern education. They are also directly related to the processes of globalization of education.

New in international law in the era of challenges and threats

The article draws attention to the fact that in today's global challenges and threats, a number of scientists and politicians expressed their opinion on the crisis of international law. The author proves that there are no grounds to qualify the state of affairs with international law as its "crisis". The author considers some crisis phenomena with international law, difficulties with interpretation, and especially with the application of some of its principles, norms and institutions. An assessment is made of the new developments that have occurred with international law in connection with global challenges and threats. The necessity and ways of raising the level of training of lawyers in the field of international law are substantiated.

Some problems of ensuring the quality of legal education: bachelor's / master's degree vs specialty

The article analyzes some problems of implementing a two-level system of higher legal education in Russia. One of these problems, according to the author, is some inconsistency in the regulatory regulation of the relevant relationship. The author focuses attention on the need to implement the "Bologna commitments" of Russia, taking into account the traditions and specifics of Russian legal education

The rapid evolution that sweeps across different spheres of life in the 21st century is changing everything on its way. Including legal profession that also faces new challenges leading to transformations. The current status of the lawyer is completely different than it was only 10-20 years ago. And one could hardly predict what would happen with legal profession in nearest future.
