This study aimed to determine the effect of Schoology-assisted inquiry-based student worksheets on Newton's Law II material on students’ learning outcomes. The population in the study were all students of class X IPA. There are only two classes of X IPA at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung, so the two classes were used as controlled and experimented classes. Controlled and experimented classes were chosen randomly, so it was determined that class X IPA 1 was the controlled class and X IPA 2 was the experimented class. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design. The experimented class used a Schoology-assisted inquiry-based student worksheet, while the controlled class was given conventional learning. The two classes were given a different treatment, the experimented class implemented learning using guided inquiry-based worksheets, and the controlled class used a learning model that the physics teacher had implemented in the class. Before and after learning in both classes, five questions with HOTS level were given so that pretest and posttest data would be obtained as learning outcomes data. The data were analyzed by three tests: N-Gain, Independent Sample T-Test, and Effect Size Test. Based on the results of data analysis, there was an increase in cognitive learning outcomes in the controlled class, which was 0.21 included in the low category, while learning outcomes of the experimented class increase were 0.47 included in the moderate category. Besides that, the independent sample T-Test earned a value of sig. 2-tailed of 0.000, so it can be seen that there was an effect of using guided inquiry-based worksheets assisted by Schoology on Newton's Second Law towards students’ learning outcomes. In addition, the effect size test results showed a moderate category, so it can be concluded that Schoology-assisted inquiry-based student worksheet on Newton's second law material affects student learning outcomes. Based on the effect size test, the cohend's d value was 0.98 with a large category. This proved that the use of Schoology-assisted inquiry-based student worksheets had a moderate effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Laboratory work that has been applied so far is more dominant in deductive laboratory work, but this type of laboratory work is not optimal in stimulating students' reasoning ability. Up to now, model-based reasoning studies on laboratory work have been substantial (especially in measurement and troubleshooting activities) and have not seen overall laboratory activity, including the use of alternative instrumentation such as Arduino and its sensor module. Designing the best laboratory work requires the role of model-based reasoning studies using Arduino devices. A mixed-method research design was used in this study with a theoretical study to obtain a predictive pattern for deductive laboratory work model which was matched with the observations of 50 undergraduate physics education students in laboratory work. Revision activities were shown by students in laboratory work depending on the capabilities of reasoning. The results of this study indicate that revision activities in deductive laboratory work using Arduino can stimulate students' reasoning. Arduino can lead students to explore their thinking and reasoning to solve problems in laboratory work.

The implementation of physics learning still does not involve students' thinking processes. It is very important to practice higher-order thinking skills, one of which is creative thinking. One of the mandated learning models in the 2013 Curriculum is inquiry. This study aimed to analyze the effect of dynamic electric puzzle science tool-assisted inquiry learning on students' creative thinking skills compared to conventional learning. This study used a quasi-experiment research type with a control group pretest-posttest design. This study was done in class XII. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with XII IPA Al-Qalam as the experimented class and XII IPA Al-Furqan as the controlled class in the academic year of 2020/2021. Data collection was done by creative thinking skills instrument test, which consisted of 5 essay questions. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 25.0 for windows on normality, homogeneity, and N-gain test. Learning outcomes data of both classes were normally distributed and homogenous. Based on the result, the average score of the pretest and posttest of the controlled class were 39.2 and 70.7, while the average scores of the pretest and posttest of the experimented class were 49.0 and 80.2. Data analysis was done by using t test, and it resulted that tcount was 2.439, while ttable was 2.009 or tcount > ttable  and the significance was (0.01) < 0.05 meant that there was a significant effect of the inquiry model towards students' creative thinking skills if compared to conventional learning. The improvement of creative thinking skills in experimented class gained <g> score of 0.64, whereas the controlled class gained <g> score of 0.51. Inquiry learning assisted by dynamic electric puzzle science tools can increase students' opportunities to engage in inquiry-based activities and develop students' analytical and creative thinking skills.
