Due to the accelerated pace of information and communication technology developments, the digital society and the digital economy have become real and, in turn, pose specific challenges. In this environment, digital skills and competences are essential to achieve the professional success and personal development of any individual. The positive impact that information and communication technology has on education cannot be disputed, but there are also some obstacles that need to be overcome in order to make the most of these benefits. An essential aspect to consider is that technology has repercussions not only on pupils and students, but also on teachers, who must adapt and acquire the knowledge necessary to disseminate information. Having as the main objective of reflecting the impact of digitalization on the educational sector, the paper highlights the basic concepts in the field of digital technology and, at the same time, the current implications on educational processes. At the same time, through logistic regression, the way in which the means of digital innovation influence the education in Romania is analysed and to determine the factors with the highest degree of influence. Modern technology can be considered as synonymous with the future and that is why it is essential that all young students acquire the digital knowledge necessary to revolutionize the educational process and at the same time redefine the recruitment of the labour market.

As a trend of evolution, the labor force in the Romanian forestry sector is part of trajectory registered by the European Union, as a whole, because many of the member countries are still oriented on the traditional methods of administration, harvesting and processing. However, there are also developed countries with large forested areas (Finland, Sweden) that have embraced new technologies and adjusted management and production processes. This issue aimed, among other things, at reducing the number of people employed in the forestry sector. In Romania, increasing the number of the employees, based on the quantitative increase of jobs as result of the gross exploitation of resources, will slow down by adopting new technologies, reducing the consumption of natural resources, but also as an effect of economic shocks generated by the pandemic. For these reasons, according to our study, the low-skilled workforce will suffer, this being the most vulnerable category, as technological developments need employees with higher skills and abilities. Equally, the informal sector must be taken into account because it employs four times people more. Romania have to adopt those appropriate measures in order to help the incorporation of the labor force released from the forestry sector of resource exploitation into adjacent sustainable activities.

The theme of leadership, as much as it has been studied, remains so inexhaustible, the general need to identify those people and styles that lead to good results and that ensure a pleasant working climate. In this context, we considered useful an approach to authentic leadership but applied to trade unions. It may seem like a paradox at first glance, and maybe, for this reason, the topic of union leadership has not been explored much. In the present study, we want to highlight, in general, the perception of teachers about the need for authentic leadership in trade unions in pre-university education in Romania. The need for knowledge of leadership styles, values on which each of them is based, and dangers and the possibility of the emergence of flawed forms, determined this first exploration. The conclusions show that union members appreciate the need for authentic leadership in trade unions in the education system, which can have a positive influence on the educational process.

Nowadays, one of the essential issues of any business is represented by CSR. Corporate Social Responsibility is also known, from a European view, as the “Responsible Business Conduct” of everyone, and so this paper highlights the importance of being responsible from early beginnings. Being actual “revolutionary forces”, entrepreneurs contribute to national wealth and growth, job creation, productivity stimulation, adaptation and innovation to meet ongoing changes in market demands. We analyze the conduct of young entrepreneurs and discuss their knowledge in the matter of CSR. We ask young entrepreneurs: What type of CSR actions their firms undertake? How their age and size of the firm influence CSR actions? Their answers are to be analyzed and discussed in a broader context as one of the European Union. Measuring CSR awareness among young entrepreneurs shows a significant increase at a macro level but still a low rate when looking at other UE countries. Our findings prove that entrepreneurs are aware of the concept and dimensions of CSR, but still, profit is more important. We conclude and highlight the importance of productive entrepreneurial activities supported by integrating CSR actions into the company’s strategy and development directions to ensure the balance between the company’s objectives and its interests.

In spite of the positive effect the Free Trade Association Agreement is having on R. of Moldova, still, there are present some issues of healthy competitiveness and increasing production capacity type, key factors for exporting SMEs. With all these being stated, this study aims to identify COVID-19 influence on local SME’s doing business within the EU marketplace. Also, this article presents some analysis of emergency projects established by the local authorities to support SMEs and deliver practical solutions that can bring about change. The methodology used in this research is based on the statistical data that reflect the development of Moldovan exporting enterprises after the entry into force of the Association Agreement and, implicitly, DCFTA; analysis of national legislation and policy documents to support SMEs in the country and foreign trade in the context of the DCFTA.

A significant problem facing modern society, which directly and immediately affects, but also indirectly, the lives of individuals, groups, and community, in general, is the problem of communication. Today, communication is the primary dimension and value of our existence, becoming omnipresent, so that it is not even perceived as a distinct activity. Its role is to facilitate interaction between people, in the environment in which they evolve, through the content of issued and received messages to achieve certain goals and transmit particular meanings. Performance and satisfaction are interdependent and separate. Performance remains influenced by individual characteristics such as competence and overall perspicacity, organizational support related to technology and resources, and work effort. Good management of internal communication leads to eliminating differences in receiving any change, with positive effects on the efficiency, credibility, and public image of the institution. The degree of vulnerability of the organization is reflected both in the discursive manifestation at the individual level and especially on organizational performance. There is a need for constant review and continuous improvement of the way an organization measures its performance.

The Syrian crisis is the most complex crisis (political, social, humanitarian, security) in the world, since World War II. In regards to the 1951 „Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees”, states have an obligation to provide refugees with a form of primary protection, which is not intended to replace asylum, but rather to provide an intermediate and immediate protection measure. At European level, for asylum seekers and refugees, there are several programs (developed by international institutions such as "UN for refugees" and "UNHCR") for integration into the host country during the temporary stay and return to the country of origin, when there are safety conditions. If this solution is not viable, they can opt for relocation to a third country. Effective management of the crisis created by the refugees flow requires the adoption of a common political agenda for European states to eliminate inequalities between states and focus on building viable economic strategies. Therefore, it is necessary to develop policies or strategies designed to provide refugees with a sense of security in the host country and their social assimilation, without being forced to give up their cultural identities. This article aims to analyse the strategies of the European states involved in this phenomenon, applied in the "Syrian refugee crisis". At the moment, the biggest part of the effort of counter-terrorism is focused on the criminal justice system. This means focusing almost exclusively on those who already intend to commit a crime and not on prevention. The legal repercussions can further encourage radicalization, which can degenerate later.
