The paper compares three systems of the rib-and-slab ceiling: Vector, Rector and Teriva. The following comparison criteria were selected: the tare weight of ceiling beams, execution time, slab faulting, sound insulation, thermal insulation and aesthetics of the lower surface. The results of the multicriteria comparative analysis clearly indicated the advantage of the Vector ceiling, assuming the same weights for all criteria taken into account.

The effect of perfluoroalkane (PFA) on the morphology, thermal conductivity, mechanical properties and thermal stability of rigid polyurethane (PU) foams was investigated under ambient and cryogenic conditions. The PU foams were blown with hydrofluorolefin. Morphological results showed that the minimum cell size (153 μm) was observed when the PFA content was 1.0 part per hundred polyols by weight (php). This was due to the lower surface tension of the mixed polyol solution when the PFA content was 1.0 php. The thermal conductivity of PU foams measured under ambient (0.0215 W/mK) and cryogenic (0.0179 W/mK at −100°C) conditions reached a minimum when the PFA content was 1.0 php. The low value of thermal conductivity was a result of the small cell size of the foams. The above results suggest that PFA acted as a nucleating agent to enhanced the thermal insulation properties of PU foams. The compressive and shear strengths of the PU foams did not appreciably change with PFA content at either −170°C or 20°C. However, it shows that the mechanical strengths at −170°C and 20°C for the PU foams meet the specification. Coefficient of thermal expansion, and thermal shock tests of the PU foams showed enough thermal stability for the LNG carrier’s operation temperature. Therefore, it is suggested that the PU foams blown by HFO with the PFA addition can be used as a thermal insulation material for a conventional LNG carrier.

Each data warehouse requires loading properly processed transactional data. The process that performs this task is known as extract-transform-load (ETL). The efficiency of its implementation affects how quickly the user will have the access to the current analytical data. The paper presents the results of research efficiency of ETL performance of its stage with the use of Azure Synapse (AS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF). The research included selection, sorting and aggregating data, joining tables, and loading data into target tables. To evaluate the efficiency of these operations, the criterion of their execution time has been used. The obtained results indicate that the ADF tool provides a much higher time efficiency of loading transactional data into the data warehouse comparing to AS.

The basic algorithm of the BOF method is described. The method of applying the BOF method is presented in the case of both positive and negative values of quantitative values of indicators, using the transition from real values to encoded ones. The proposed method is an innovation that allows you to conduct a comparative analysis of any number of enterprises and projects in terms of their financial stability. The methods described in this article can be used for crisis management, as well as for calculating the balance of a portfolio of projects and programs.

Improving energy efficiency and energy saving in refrigeration technology depends largely on the use of modern thermal insulation materials in the thermal insulation structures of refrigeration pipelines. The article presents a comparative analysis of the thermal characteristics and operational properties of heat-insulating materials used in refrigeration. The features of RUFLEX thermal insulation materials based on foamed synthetic rubber produced from domestic raw materials and their compliance with the requirements of energy efficiency, durability, operational reliability and safety are considered.

Foam concrete is provided with light weight, thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire resistance, good seismic performance and other characteristics. To improve properties of foam concrete microstructure is studied with the help of fractal theory, fractal dimension related to mechanical properties and thermal performance of foam concrete is calculated by MATLAB language program. The results indicate that the microstructure of foam concrete showed significant fractal character, the fractal dimension is between 1.3 and 2.0. Apparent density, 28d compressive strength, and thermal conductivity decreases with the increase of fly ash and foaming agent content, fractal dimension increased. Formulas of fractal dimension and the fly ash, foaming agent content were established. Foam concrete with low density, high strength, and good thermal insulation property will be prepared conducted by the formulas.

This paper presents the measurement results of the thermal insulation of the outer shell, thermal inserts, and clothing systems, as well as a comparative analysis of the thermal insulation of multi-layer thermal inserts in a thermal jacket intended for professional services in cold weather. Detachable thermal inserts are made of double-faced, diamond-shaped quilted lining with different masses per unit area, and together with the jacket, they form clothing systems with different thermal properties. Tests of the thermal properties of clothing were performed on a thermal manikin. They showed that an increase in the mass of thermal insulation textile materials contributes to an increase in the thermal insulation properties of clothing and are insufficient for a complete analysis of the thermal properties of clothing. Therefore, for the first time, three new parameters of integration efficiency of the thermal insert, thermal insulation efficiency parameters, and efficiency parameters of the integration of the textile material integrated into the clothing system were introduced. Based on these parameters, it is possible to perform an effective and accurate comparative analysis of the thermal insulation of multi-layer thermal inserts in clothing. This makes it possible to apply exact scientific methods largely in the technical design of the thermal properties of integrated textile materials, instead of experience-based methods as in the past.

Silt sintered insulating brick with high strength, good thermal insulation and sound insulation characteristics. It occupies an important position in the new building materials industry. The main equipment for production of silt sintered insulating brick is the vacuum brick extruding machine, the forming mold is the most critical part in it. The performance largely determines the quality of the brick. The structural design and other aspects of the forming mold are analyzed, and then systematically summarize the design and production requirements of the forming mold. The research status of the forming mold on vacuum brick extruding machine at domestic and abroad is reviewed. The main problems of forming mold are analyzed and the corresponding solutions are given, as well as the future developments of forming mold.
