This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in learning teaching materials are considered the main factor in these difficulties, because the material in the textbook seems stiff or tied to the main material in the curriculum so that it does not develop students creative thinking skills. Therefore, the researcher developed a book supporting Arabic writing skills based on the RAFT strategy (Role Audience Format Topic) for eighth grade students of MTs as an effort to foster students creative thinking skills in Arabic writing skills. This research uses qualitative and quantitative research with a research and development design (Research and Development). The research stages that were passed in this study only reached the fifth stage of the ten stages, namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers and students want the development of books to support Arabic writing skills based on the RAFT strategy for grade VIII students of MTs. Second, this supporting book prototype contains vocabulary, grammar guidelines, examples of writing with RAFT strategy, writing exercises using RAFT strategy and pearls of wisdom. Third, the assessment of the content feasibility aspect obtained an average value of 90.56, the feasibility aspect of presentation was 90.95, the language feasibility aspect was 89.66, and the graphic feasibility aspect was 89.77. The average score of all aspects of book eligibility is 90.23 in the range 86-100 and is in category 4 (very suitable).   Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari bahan ajar dianggap sebagai faktor utama kesulitan. Hal ini dikarenakan materi pada buku teks pelajaran terkesan kaku atau terikat pada materi pokok dalam kurikulum sehingga kurang mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan sebuah buku penunjang keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab berbasis strategi RAFT (Role Audience Format Topic) untuk siswa kelas VIII MTs sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tahapan penelitian yang dilalui dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap lima dari sepuluh tahap, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, guru dan siswa menghendaki adanya pengembangan buku penunjang keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab berbasis strategi RAFT untuk siswa kelas VIII MTs. Kedua, purwarupa buku penunjang ini memuat kosakata, pedoman gramatika, contoh menulis dengan strategi RAFT, latihan menulis dengan strategi RAFT dan kata mutiara. Ketiga, Penilaian aspek kelayakan isi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90,56, aspek kelayakan penyajian 90,95, aspek kelayakan bahasa 89,66, dan aspek kelayakan kegrafikan 89,77. Nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan aspek kelayakan buku adalah 90,23 pada rentang 86-100 dan termasuk kategori 4 (sangat sesuai).

This study determines the improvement of students' creative thinking using problem-based learning models assisted by interactive multimedia on the concept of substance pressure. Research conducted at SMP 2 Mandalawangi, using one-sample classes, class VIII the second semester of 2017/2018 academic year, was held in May 2018. The method used is quantitative research, while the type used is quasi-experimental research, using a one-group pretest-posttest design research design. The instrument used was a test instrument for creative thinking skills in the form of elaboration questions on the concept of pressure. The analyzing data using paired sample t-test or paired sample t-test analysis to see the effect of PBL on creative thinking skills, and n-gain to see an improvement in creative thinking skills. The study gives an increase in students' creative thinking skills. The average value of 41 to 81 with an n-gain of 0.68 or an improved of 68%, which included the medium criteria. Paired sample t-test results indicate that there is an influence of the use of problem-based learning models assisted by interactive multimedia on students' creative thinking skills on the concept of substance pressure.

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to integrate higher-order thinking skills. One of them is creative thinking. Mind map integration in Problem Based Learning (PBL) is thought to be able to assist students in improving creative thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of increasing creative thinking through the integration of mind maps in PBL on eighth grade students of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research population was class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. The research sample consisted of class VIII.1 as the experimental class and class VIII.2 as the control class. Data in the form of pretest and posttest. N-gain analysis was conducted to see the increase in student scores and MANOVA was used to examine the effect of mind maps in PBL on students creative thinking abilities. The average value of creative thinking is better in the experimental class which is 78.08 in the digestive system material with N-gain relatively close to high, namely 0.68 while in the control class only 54.88 is sufficient category. The MANOVA test also shows that there is an effect of mind maps in PBL on the creative thinking ability of class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the application of mind map integration to PBL is able to improve the creative thinking skills of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru students.

The purpose of this study was to determine students' poetry writing skills before the application of acrostic techniques, the process of applying acrostic techniques in each cycles, and the increase produced after applying the acrostic technique. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that 1) the students' poetry writing skills before applying the acrostic technique obtained an average score of 46.87. 2) The application of acrostic techniques goes well according to the stages. The activity of teachers and students has increased dramatically, in the first cycle the teacher's activity gained a percentage of 64.15%, in the second cycle teacher activity increased to 89.1%. Student learning activities in the first cycle reached 61.65%, in cycle II it increased by 87.5%. 3) Students' poetry writing skills after applying acrostic techniques have increased. In the first cycle, the average score of students was 69.45, and the percentage of learning completeness was 51.75%. In cycle II the average value of students skill increased sharply to 89.37, and the percentage was 91%. Thus, the CAR carried out has been completed with the expected goal of improving poetry writing skills in Indonesian Language Subjects.

ABSTRAKPenelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan laboratorium virtual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Jenis penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D terdiri dari Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring, lembar kerja peserta didik, dan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Validitas produk dinilai oleh enam validator dengan analisis skala likert. Selanjutnya kepraktisan ditentukan dari hasil observasi melalui lembar keterlaksanaan kegiatan dan efektivitas diperoleh dari uji coba terbatas untuk mendapatkan nilai N-gain. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan penilaian validator menunjukkan keseluruhan perangkat yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai rata-rata diatas 3.26 dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian hasil observer menunjukkan rata-rata keterlaksanaan kegiatan diatas 63 % dengan kategori sangat baik. Lalu hasil rata-rata uji N-gain didapatkan nilai 0.51 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan laboratorium virtual pada materi elastisitas dan hukum Hooke valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran; model inkuiri terbimbing; laboratorium virtual; keterampilan berpikir kreatif. ABSTRACTThis development research aims to produce products in the form of guided inquiry learning models assisted by virtual laboratories to improve students' creative thinking skills. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Products developed in the form of a syllabus, online lesson plans, student worksheets, and creative thinking skills test instruments. The validity of the product is limited by six validators with Likert scale analysis. Furthermore, practicality is determined from the results of observations through the implementation sheet and can be obtained from limited trials to get the N-gain score. The results of the research based on the facts of the validator showed that the total developed equipment had an average value above 3.30 with the very good category. Then the results of the observers showed that the average activity implementation was above 75% with the very good category. Then the results of the average N-gain test obtained a value of 0.51 in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model physics learning device with virtual assistance on elasticity material and Hooke's law is valid, practical, and effective for improving students' creative thinking skills. Keywords: learning tools; guided inquiry model; virtual laboratory; creative thinking skills.

The use of instructional media is a creative learning activity that students enjoy doing. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the learning process of using hand puppet media of storytelling skills, (2) student responses on learning using hand puppet media, (3) the result of storytelling skills by using hand puppet media. The research is a qualitative and quantitative research design. Qualitative design is emphasizing more attention on a "process". For quantitative design is to determine the average value before and after learning. The sources are teachers, students, list of student names, the assessment results before implementation, class teacher identity, school profiles, lesson plans, syllabus, and theme books. The subjects are teachers and students, and the object is hand puppet media. The results showed that by using hand puppet media on storytelling at first and second meetings shows learning process runs effectively and is accordance with the teacher’s plan.. The results of questionnaire concluded a good response with an average score of 94.9%. The data from pre-test scores on learning I achieves 61.62. While the average score after learning process (post test) is 78.10. Through comparison of the average score on pre-test and post-test is increased by 16.48. Then, the data from post test scores on learning II is 80. Through comparison of the score at the first and second meeting is increased by 1.9. Based on the results, it can be concluded that hand puppet media can be used as an appropriate source of learning for storytelling skills in elementary schools.

AbstrakPenelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru belum dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, pendekatan yang masih konvensional sehingga pembelajaran masih terfokus pada guru yang membuat siswa pasif dalam pelajaran. Model Treffinger menuntut kemampuan guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang terdapat tiga langkah, yaitu guru memberikan pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan materi, siswa diberikan waktu untuk berdiskusi guna mengisi lembar kerja siswa (LKS) dan mencari alternatif penyelesaian, tahap akhir siswa diberikan masalah yang terdapat dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, obeservasi hingga refleksi yang dilakukan kepada siswa kelas VIII SMP Plus Assa'adah Serang dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tiga pertemuan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian, kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa meningkat. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata tes siswa sebesar 58,39 yang dikategorikan 11,54% rendah dan 88,46% sedang. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata tes siswa sebesar 78,46 yang dikategorikan 52,17% sedang dan 47,93% tinggi, tidak terdapat siswa dengam kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang rendah.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, model Treffinger AbstactThis research is based on the low ability of students to think creatively mathematically caused the learning model used by the teacher has not been able to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills, a conventional approach so that learning is still focused on the teacher which makes students passive in the lesson. Treffinger's model demands the ability of the teacher to improve students' creative thinking skills in three steps, namely the teacher gives questions related to the material, students are given time to discuss in order to fill student worksheets (LKS) and look for alternative solutions, the final stage students are given problems that there is in real life. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which includes planning, implementing actions, observing to reflections made to eighth grade students of SMP Plus Assa'adah Serang with two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings which aim to improve students' creative thinking skills. Based on research, students' mathematical creative thinking skills increase. In cycle I, the average test score of students was 58.39 which was categorized as 11.54% low and 88.46% moderate. In cycle II, the average score of students' test was 78.46 which was categorized as 52.17% medium and 47.93% high, there were no students with low mathematical creative thinking abilities.Keywords: creative thinking ability, Treffinger model

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on mathematical creative thinking abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. This study used the True Experimental Design. In this study, the samples used were two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The average score of mathematical creative thinking skills that had been obtained by students in the final test in the experimental class was 19.5517 and in the control class was 14.4783. Both classes were normally distributed and homogeneous both at the pre-test and the post-test. The data collection was analyzed by using the t-test. The results of the t-test analysis were t-value = 2.5400 and t-table (significance level α= 0.05) = 2.001. This showed that t-value> t-table, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of problem-based learning models on mathematical creative thinking abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. The purpose of this study was to describe Poetry Writing Skills with the Sentence Model Concept of Class V Students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh in terms of physical elements and inner elements of poetry. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN 23 Payakumbuh City, amounting to 22 students. In collecting data, researchers used performance testing techniques. While in analyzing the steps of the data taken by calculating the raw score the correct answer, the score changes to a value. Data analysis starts from the analysis of each aspect. The procedure for analyzing each aspect, the first to provide an assessment of student work seen from the physical elements and inner elements of poetry. Second, the conversion of scores into values using a percentage formula. Looking for the average value of the classification test results using a scale of 10. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the average results of poetry writing skills using the Concept Sentence concept of class V SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh model are 87 with very good qualifications, in terms of physical elements 86.25 with excellent qualifications, from the inner element is 87.5 with very good qualifications. So, the fifth grade students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh were good at writing poetry using the Concept Sentence model.Keywords: writing, poetry, and model concept sentence

This research aims to enhance students’ critical thinking skills of SMP Islam Abhariyah on the academic year 2015/2016 through the application of the generative learning model. Research method used was classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consist of planning, implementating, observating, and reflecting. Data learning activities of the students and teachers’ activities obtained by observation, while data on students’ critical thinking skills test was obtained by an evaluation at the end of each cycle. The subject of this study was 28 students in VIII-B class. Application of the generative learning model in this study considered as successful if the value of critical thinking skills of the students at a minimum categorized as critical. The data for student’s critical thinking skills was accomplished by using an essay test, and the average value of students is 41.96 (categorized very less critical) whit classical completeness achieved only 3,57% in the cycle I and in the cycle II showed the average value of the students is 68,92 (categorized critical) whit classical completeness increased to 85,71%. Research data of student’s activities was taken by using the student’s observation sheet. The average score in the cycle I is 46.50 (categorized as fairly active) and in the cycle II is 66.00 (categorized as active). The data of teacher’s activities was taken by using teacher’s observation sheet. The presentation of learning material is 64,28% (categorized as good) in the cycle I and 91,06% (categorized as very good) in the gathering II. Thus, the conclusion to this study is the application of the generative learning model can improve students’ critical thinking skills.

This research aims to developing the Biology Test of Creative Thunking-Torrance Test (BTCT-TT) assessment in studying Biology for high school student in grade 11. This type of research is Research& Development (R & D) with 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). This study have develodped 37 items that are valid and reliabel. BTCT-TT was tested on 150 high school students, the results showed the average score of students’ creative thinking skills was significantly releted to students who received BTCT-TT assessment and Conventional assessment.   Keywords: Biology Test of Creative Thinking-Torrance Test (BTCT-TT), Creative Thinking
