The paper examines the effect of socio-economic infrastructure of the rural areas on the rural economy in Kaduna State. The study adopts a correlation analysis, a Multicollinearity and Cronbach Alpha Reliability tests as well as regression analysis on primary data. Findings from the study reveal that there is a positive relationship between socioeconomic infrastructure and rural economy, while the multicollinearity test shows absence of high correlation among the independent variables and the Cronbach Alpha confirms internal consistency of the variables. Furthermore, the regression analysis indicates that socio-economic infrastructure, particularly road, electricity supply, market and telecommunication infrastructure all have positive and statistically significant effects on the rural economy. The paper therefore, recommends that governments should increase efforts towards developing the infrastructure in the rural areas in order to facilitate the growth of the economy in the rural sectors.

This research aims to examine the relationship between factors that act as enablers or barriers to financial inclusion, as independent variables, and the environment for financial inclusion, as a dependent variable, for the case of North Macedonia. For accomplishing the main research objective, first, the factors that act as enablers or barriers to financial inclusion were identified by collecting primary data using questionnaires and performing comparative analysis on our country’s position with different regions categorized by income groups and World, through the benchmarking model of Global Microscope (Economist Intelligence Unit, 2018. Global Microscope 2018. The Enabling Environment for Financial Inclusion. The EIU, The Economist). Second, primary data from questionnaires served to furtherly examine the correlation between each identified enabler or barrier to financial inclusion and the overall environment for financial inclusion through multiple regression analysis. Results revealed important information and recommendations for the future focus of national priorities, institutional arrangements, policies, and strategies in terms of creating enabling environment for financial inclusion, benefits of which can be felt by the overall society.

Taste, price, ambience and location have been taken as independent variables and brand preference has been taken as dependent variable in the study. The study has been adopted the descriptive and causal research design. Samplesize has been taken 226 under the study. Primary data for the research has-been collected using structured questionnaire from fast food consumer within Kathmandu Valley of University students. To analyze the collected data, descriptive statistics, and Pearson correlation as well as regression analysis has been conducted to identify the relationship and effect between independent variables (taste, price, ambience and location) and dependent variable (consumer preference). SPSS has been used to process the data and to find the result of the data analysis. By the correlation analysis there is significant relationships between independent variables (taste, price, ambience and location) and dependent variable (brand preference). Based on regression analysis, taste, ambience and location have significant and positive impact on consumer preference for fast food items. It means consumers are much more concerned and aware about these factors while consuming the fast food. Purpose: This study sought to establish the effect of strategic outsourcing approaches on the performance of manufacturing.Methodology: A descriptive survey design was adopted, informed by the relatively small population of the listed manufacturing and allied companies, which doubled as the target population of the study. A structured and closed- ended questionnaire was used to collect primary data, administered by drop and pick a method. Total of (72) strategic managers drawn from the nine manufacturing firms were involved in the study. Data collected was quantitatively scrutinized based on research objectives and presented in form of tables and charts for interpretation. The data was then be analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics supported by the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), version 22. Regression analysis was done to ascertain the effect of strategic outsourcing approaches on performance. The response rate of the study was 92%.Results and conclusion: The findings of the study showed that strategic professional outsourcing, strategic manufacturing outsourcing, strategic business process outsourcing and strategic project outsourcing have a positive relationship with performance of performance of the manufacturing companies listed at the Nairobi Security Exchange. The results of the regression analysis revealed there is a significant positive relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable. The independent variables reported R-value of .805 indicating that there is a perfect relationship between a dependent variable and independent variables. R square value of 0.647 means that 64.7% of the corresponding variation in performance of manufacturing companies listed at the Nairobi Security Exchange can be explained or predicted by (strategic professional outsourcing, strategic manufacturing outsourcing, strategic business process outsourcing and strategic project outsourcing) which indicated that the model fitted the study data. The results of the regression analysis revealed that there was a significant positive relationship between the dependent variable and independent variable at (β = 0.647), p=0.000 <0.05).Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: Finally, the study commends that manufacturing companies listed at the Nairobi Security Exchange embrace the various strategic outsourcing approaches as a way to improve their performance. Equally, the study recommends similar studies be carried out in other industries across the country and in abroad to ascertain if the same results can be obtained and generalized.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine the role of sustainable supply chain management on the performance of state corporations in Kenya.Methodology: This research study adopted a descriptive research design approach. This method is preferred because it allows an in-depth study of the subject. The sample for this study shall comprise 187 state corporations in Kenya. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire whereas secondary data was collected from existing literature. The study involved three types of sampling techniques. Stratified random sampling was used and also simple random sampling after the researcher identifies homogeneity of the population. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistical methods such as means, standard deviation, frequencies and percentage. Inferential analyses were used in relation to correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the relationship between the four explanatory variables and the explained variable Results and conclusion: The independent variables reported R value of .846 indicating that there is perfect relationship between dependent variable and independent variables. R square value of 0.716 which means that 71.6% of the corresponding variation in performance of the state corporations can be explained or predicted by (environmental sustainability, economical sustainability, social-cultural sustainability and ethical sustainability) which indicated that the model fitted the study data. The results of regression analysis revealed that there was a significant positive relationship between dependent variable and independent variable at (β = 1.240), p=0.00 <0.05).Unique contribution to theory, policy and practice: The findings of the study indicated that environmental sustainability, economical sustainability, social-cultural sustainability and ethical sustainability have a positive relationship with performance of state corporations in Kenya

This is motivated because the Temanggung tobaccos are the world's best tobacco, but its majority people are poor. This study uses primary data approach, the method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using path analysis. Then in-depth explanation with interviews and observations analysis techniques to obtain optimal qualitative interpretation. The results showed that the capacity, culture, government empowerment, social capital and religiosity as independent variables affect the attitudes of society, which in turn affect the empowerment of the poor as poverty reduction efforts.
