The usage of Quantum Similarity through the equation Z = {∀θ ∈ Z → ∃s ∈ S ∧ ∃t ∈ T : θ = (s, t)}, represents a way to analyze the way communication works in our DNA. Being able to create the object set reference for z being (s, t) in our DNA strands, we are able to set logical tags and representations of our DNA in a completely computational form. This will allow us to have a better understanding of the sequences that happen in our DNA. With this approach, we can also utilize mathematical formulas such as the Euler–Mascheroni constant, regression analysis, and computational proofs to answer important questions on Quantum biology, Quantum similarity, and Theoretical Physics.

AbstractDNA holds significant promise as a data storage medium due to its density, longevity, and resource and energy conservation. These advantages arise from the inherent biomolecular structure of DNA which differentiates it from conventional storage media. The unique molecular architecture of DNA storage also prompts important discussions on how data should be organized, accessed, and manipulated and what practical functionalities may be possible. Here we leverage thermodynamic tuning of biomolecular interactions to implement useful data access and organizational features. Specific sets of environmental conditions including distinct DNA concentrations and temperatures were screened for their ability to switchably access either all DNA strands encoding full image files from a GB-sized background database or subsets of those strands encoding low resolution, File Preview, versions. We demonstrate File Preview with four JPEG images and provide an argument for the substantial and practical economic benefit of this generalizable strategy to organize data.

In this study, the factors affecting the success of university students were analyzed by logistic regression analysis. In the study, success variable was defined according to the survey information applied to 360 university students studying in School of Physical Education and Sport in Çukurova University and Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University in Turkey, in 2017–2018 academic year. The relationship between the answers to the Likert-type scale questions affecting success variables and the course success was estimated by logistic regression analysis. According to the results of the research, because independent variables such as mother’s education status, age, and class were statistically insignificant, they were not included in the multivariate model. According to the findings, variables such as gender, the university they studied, the way they chose their department, and father’s education are seen as important in the growth of students’ academic success. In addition to this, the variables such as counseling about their profession, support of department’s instructors, and communication with instructor have been found to be considerably effective on success. It was observed that the way they chose their department (willingly–compulsorily) was the most effective factor, and father’s education was the second effective factor. As a result, the success levels of the students were found to differ according to the sociodemographic characteristics and their relations with the instructors. On the contrary, as the instructors’ guidance, support, and communication skills are effective contributors on student’s success, it has been concluded that instructors should take these factors into account.

ABSTRACT nsertion element IS 1 and IS 1-based transposon Tn 9 generate cointegrates (containing vector and target DNAs joined by duplicate copies of IS 1 or Tn 9) and simple insertions (containing IS 1 or Tn 9 detached from vector sequences). Based on studies of transposon Tn 5 we had proposed a conservative (non-replicative) model for simple insertion. Others had proposed that all transposition is replicative, occurring in a rolling circle structure, and that the way DNA strands are joined when replication terminates determines whether a simple insertion or a cointegrate is formed.—We selected for the transposition of amp and cam resistance markers from pBR322::Tn 9 plasmids to an F factor in recA  -  E. coli and identified products containing three and four copies of IS 1, corresponding to true cointegrates (from monomeric plasmids), and simple insertions (from dimeric plasmids). The simple insertions with four copies of IS 1 outnumbered those with three by a ratio of about 3:1, whereas true cointegrates containing three copies of IS 1 were more numerous than those with four.—A straightforward rolling circle model had predicted that the simple insertions containing three copies of IS 1 should be more frequent than those with four. Because we obtained the opposite result we propose that simple insertions only arise when the element fails to replicate or if replication starts but then terminates prematurely. The two classes of products, simple insertions and cointegrates, reflect alternative conservative and replicative fates, respectively, of an early intermediate in transposition.

The Philippine government (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) signed the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro, which culminates the Aquino Administration’s effort to end the deadlock in the peace process in Mindanao. It would pave the way for the creation of the new Muslim autonomous political entity (NPE) called “Bangsamoro” under law to be approved by the Philippine Congress, which was the proposed ‘Bangsamoro Basic Law’ or BBL (Bangkok Post, 2014). This study is a descriptive - correlation – regression analysis of the awareness and support of the Ethnic and Non-Ethnic Youths in Basilan, Philippines on the Bangsamoro Basic Law. The findings and conclusions were: (1) The Basilan ethnic youths (Yakan and Tausug) were moderately aware of the provisions of the BBL, while the Basilan non-ethnic youths (Chavacano and Visayan) are barely aware of the provisions of the BBL; (2) The ethnic youths moderately support the passage of the BBL while the non-ethnic youths least support its passage; (3) There is a significant relationship between the youths’ level of awareness and extent of support for the BBL; and (4) The levels of support for the BBL of the Basilan youths are dependent on their ethnic and non-ethnic affiliation.

The main idea for this reseach is to see the points that motivate Muzakki to use the Zakat Institution to fulfill their zakat. These points mentioned above are the religious side (believe) of a Muzakki, the feeling of being blessed, and the service given by a Zakat through Zakat Instution to the Muzakki who has a preference on fulfilling zakat thorugh Zakat Instution. On this reseach, the method used os experimental method, and for this method, it involves 51 people from Salatiga and some regions around Salatiga. The analytical tools used here is the multiple regression analysis using Tobit model. The findings on this reseach are that the variance of religiosity and the feeling in blessings are not significantly affected by the choice of a Muzakki in using Zakat Instution. And variance of the service given by a zakat institution is signicantly affected by the  choice of a Muzakki in using Zakat instution. Another finding is that from the total polling, 98% of the Muzakki say that they can feel the blessing when they fulfill the zakat, and this feeling is not related to the way of fulfilling their zakat, whether they go though the Zakat Institution or the do it themselves.

Due to the properties of DNA data storage, the errors that occur in DNA strands make error correction an important and challenging task. In this paper, a new code design of quaternary code suitable for DNA storage is proposed to correct at most two consecutive deletion or insertion errors. The decoding algorithms of the proposed codes are also presented when one and two deletion or insertion errors occur, and it is proved that the proposed code can correct at most two consecutive errors. Moreover, the lower and upper bounds on the cardinality of the proposed quaternary codes are also evaluated, then the redundancy of the proposed code is provided as roughly 2log48n.

This study aims to explore the ambiguous nature of flow and the way it relates to inclination towards addiction. The results of an exploratory factor analysis indicate that the flow experienced by players has at least two components which are called in this study hedonistic flow (direct pleasure seeking) and eudaimonistic flow (escapism). The results of the regression analysis show that 54.4% of the variance of Internet addiction is accounted for by life competence, eudaimonistic flow in a game, excitement as an emotion experienced while playing a game and annoyance as an emotion experienced when it is not possible to play.

This chapter addresses the difficulty of establishing pass-on. Indeed, estimating pass-on is difficult and often impossible. Even where estimates of the pass-on rate can be generated, estimates of the overcharge are still required to quantify the amount of pass-on. For indirect purchasers, this will add to the difficulty because they may not have the necessary data and knowledge of successive upstream markets. There is also uncertainty to the standard of proof and evidential burden required to establish credible pass-on rates. However, there are a range of approaches that can be used to estimate or quantify the pass-on rate, which are set out in the European Commission’s Pass-on Guidelines. These include documentary evidence on firms’ pricing policies; economic theory/simulations; evidence on the way the direct and indirect purchasers have passed on cost increases in the past, arguing that they would react similarly to an overcharge; third party research on the way the industry has been passed on in the past; and statistical approaches either using multiple regression analysis, time series analysis, or event studies. The volume effect can be estimated using similar approaches although the Pass-on Guidelines suggest multiple regression analysis and the ‘elasticity approach’.
