This study aims to determine the effect of learning cycle 7E model on physics learning outcomes of students of class XI SMAN 8 Mataram. The type of this research is experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI SMAN 8 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, with class XI MIA 1 students as experiment class and XI MIA 2 class student as control class. The instruments used are multiple choice test and observation sheet. Based on the result of research, the average value for pretest of experiment class and control class is 26,783 and 28,333 while for the average of post-test of experiment class and control class is 60,696 and 52,667. The research hypothesis was tested by t-test with a significant level of 5%. Data of learning result analyzed by using t-test of two parties obtained taccount equal to 2,071 and ttable equal to 1,679 at degree of freedom is 45. According to the criteria of the hypothesis test, if taccount greater than ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is influence of Learning Cycle 7E model to physics learning result of class XI SMAN 8 Mataram.

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model learning cycle terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas III SD Negeri Harja Mekar 03 Kec. Cikarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian quasi experiment dan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Populasi yang digunakan adalah 44 siswa dengan jumlah sampel kelas eksperimen 23 siswa dan kelas kontrol 21 siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,17 lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 79,38. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t yang diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 17,51 > 1,68023artinya Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah model learning cycle memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas III. This research is intended to know the influence of the use of learning cycle model to science process skill of third grade students of SD Negeri Harja Mekar 03 Kec. Cikarang. This research uses quantitative approach, with quasi experiment research method and research design nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The population used was 44 students with the total sample class of 23 students and control class of 21 students. The analysis technique used is t-test with significant level of 0.05. The result of the research shows that the mean value of posttest of experimental class is 82,17 higher than the mean of posttest of control class is 79,38. The result of hypothesis testing by using t-test obtained thitung> ttable that is 17,51> 1,68023artinya Ho rejected and H1 accepted. The conclusions obtained in this study is the learning cycle model has a significant influence on the science process skills of students on science subjects class III.

Pengenalan konsep lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun atau anak TK kelompok A harus diiringi dengan benda konkrit atau nyata agar potensi yang mereka miliki dapat berkembang secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan Balok Cuisenaire terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep lambang bilangan terhadap anak usia 4-5 tahun dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang berbentuk nonequivalent control grup design. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan 6 kali pertemuan pada setiap kelompok. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel bertujuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di sebuah taman kanak-kanak di Kota Surakarta. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 21 anak dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 21 anak. Analisis data terdiri dari uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji prasyarat menggunakan Shapiro Wilk dan Levene Test for Equality of Variance yang menunjukkan bahwa data bersifat normal dan homogen. Sedangkan pada uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test untuk uji pre-post dalam kelompok yang sama dan independent sample t-test untuk uji beda antar kelompok dengan membandingkan skor kelompok kontrol dengan eksperimen pada signifikasi p < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pretest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol adalah 16,05 dan 15,90 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,758. Sedangkan rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol adalah 22,29 dan 16,33 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Nilai signifikansi posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol 0,000 ≤ 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas penggunaan media balok Cuisenaire terhadap perkembangan mengenal konsep lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun.   The introduction of the concept of number symbols in children aged 4-5 years or kindergarten children group A must be accompanied by concrete or tangible objects so that their potential can develop optimally. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of the application of Cuisenaire Blocks to the ability to recognize the concept of number symbols to children aged 4-5 years in learning activities. This research is a quasi-experimental study in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. In this research, each group conducts six meetings each month. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Participants in this study were an experimental and control group, both consists of 21 children. Data analysis consists of prerequisite and hypothesis tests. The prerequisite test results using Shapiro Wilk and the Levene Test for Equality of Variance showed that the data was usual and homogeneous. While in the hypothesis test using paired sample t-test for pre-post test in the same group and independent sample t-test for different tests between groups by comparing the score of the control and experiment groups on signification p < 0.05. The results showed that the average pretest of the experiment and control group was 16.05 and 15.90, with a significance score of 0.758. Meanwhile, the average posttest of the experiment and control group was 22.29 and 16.33, with a significance score of 0.000. Based on the experiment and control group significance score of 0.000 ≤ 0.05, this research concluded that Cuisenaire block media usage develops the concept of number symbols recognition ability in children aged 4-5.

This study aims to understand the influence of a problem based learning model using rotating trio exchange strategy (RTE) towards students physics learning achievement of year XI MIA SMAN 1 Lingsar. This study is quasi experiment with Non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was the whole students of year XI MIA SMAN 1 Lingsar of the academic year 2017/2018 whose total is 89 students. The sampling technique of the study was purposive sampling, which in turn, year XI MIA 1 treated as experimental class and year XI MIA 2 as the control class. The instrument used was a multiple choice test and observation. The multiple choice refers to the cognitive ability of the students (C1C6) which was 35 items in total which has been tested for validity, reliability, appropriateness, and the level of its difficulty have been examined. Evaluate students’ affective and psychomotoric assessments using observation sheets. Based on the result of the study it was gained that students average score of pre-test of both experimental and control class was 42 and 23, while the average score of post-test of both experimental and controlled class was 70 and 67 subsequently. The data gained has been previously examined its normality and homogeneity. It was obtained that experimental and control class was distributed normally and homogeneous. The hypothesis was examined using statistical analysis, i.e. parametric t-test polled variant with t test of both sides. It is obtained that dan diperoleh  and  on the level of significant 5%. The value of    , then  is rejected and  is accepted. The result indicated that there was positive influence of a problem based model using rotating trio exchange (RTE) strategy towards the students achievement on physics in year XI MIA of SMAN 1 Lingsar

The aim of this research is to know the impact of the applying Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods toward the learning motivation and result of physics learning. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with posttest only control group design. The population was all student of grade XI in senior high school 1 of  Labuapi. The sampling technique used saturation sampling, while the sample are class XI MIA 1 as the experimental 1 class, and the XI MIA 2 as experimental 2 class. Experimental 1 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model with experimental methods and experimental 2 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model without experimental methods. The instrument of motivation learning was used motivation questionnaire and instrument the result of physics learning used multiple choice test. The research hypothesis was tested using Manova-test, data analysis shows that Sig. <0,05 which mean that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there are effect of Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods on student’s motivation and physics learning result.

 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model Learning Cycle 7E pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup di SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design, yaitu dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 8 dan SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 30 butir dan angket motivasi belajar peserta didik. Analisis data perbedaan hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan eksperimen menggunakan uji idependent sampel t-test dan uji Mann Whitney pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Angket motivasi peserta didik dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berbeda secara signifikan dengan perolehan nilai Zhitung 3,211 >Ztabel 1,96. Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kontrol juga berbeda secara signifikan dengan perolehan nilai (thitung 8,06>ttabel 1,99). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol peserta didik di SMP N 8 dan SMP N 18 Banda Aceh. Kata kunci: Learning Cycle 7E, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Interaksi Makhluk Hidup

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada keefektifan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle Berbantuan Media Audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa Tema Selalu Berhemat Energi di kelas IV SD 3 Barongan Kudus. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD 3 Barongan Kudus, tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling yang menghasilkan kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen, IV B sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dalam penelitian ini meliputi dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur dan tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji prasyarat analisis meliputi normalitas dan homogenitas, dan analisis akhir adalah independent samples t test dan one sample t test.Hasil uji hipotesis hasil belajar siswa dengan perhitungan menggunakan uji independent sample t test ditandai dengan nilai 𝑡 h𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔 sebesar (2,803 dan 2,803) > 𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 (2,032). Taraf signifikansinya 0,008 < 0,05. Hasil uji ketuntasan rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada post test adalah 87,50 dan kelas kontrol adalah 80,75. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan kata lain ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan model Learning Cycle berbantuan media audiovisual dengan pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya model pembelajaran Learning Cycle dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif guru dalam mengajar.

The aims of this research to gain the result of effect TANDUR model to mathematical concept understanding and student’s mathematical reasoning. This research was quasi experiment with pretest-postest control group design. The population in this research was students of seventh grade SMP N 2 Natar academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique used random sampling technique and divided onto two groups, experiment group and control group. The results of this research were: 1) there was influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical concept understanding. 2) there were influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical reasoning. 3) TANDUR model learning can affect simultaneously of mathematical concept understanding and mathematical reasoning.

The aim of this research is to know the effect of using Predict Observe Explain (POE) method toward students’ achievement in Physics. This is an experimental research by using experimental group and control group. The research design was Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students of class VII SMPN 1 Lembar academic year 2015/2016. The sampling technique was Cluster Random Sampling in which class VII 2 as the control group and class VII 3 as the experimental group. Both of the groups were given a pre-test before the treatment to know the homogeneity of the groups. The instrument used is an objective test in form of multiple choices. The finding showed that the mean of the posttest in experimental group was 70 and the control group was 60.67, in which both of them were distributed normal and homogeneous. The post-test result was analyzed by using t-test (t-test polled variants) in which the value of the was 2.473 and the  was 2.015 with dk=46 and the significant level was 5%. It showed that the was accepted and was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that Predict Observe Explain (POE) Method gave significant effect to the students’ achievement in Physics at Class VII SMPN 1 Lembar Academic year 2015/2016.

This research is a quasi-experimental aims to identify the effect of problem-based learning model using virtual simulation media towards the students’ concept mastery and creativity in physics. The design of this research used of non-equivalent control group design, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population of this research is all students of grade X SMAN 2 Mataram, while the sampling are the students of grade X-3 as the experimental group and the students of grade X-4 as control group. The data obtained in this research is  data mastery of concept and creativity. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test polled variances. The test result showed that the N-gain mastery of concepts has increased in each sub material and the highest increase in the sub matter theory of electromagnetic waves. Values of N-gain experimental group in the high category (71%) and control group in the medium category (53%). T-test showed that the model is applied to significant influence on improving students’ mastery of concepts and creativity, higher in the experimental group compared with the control group. Increased figural creativity higher than verbal creativity in both classes

Mathematical communication ability is an important ability to have students. This is because by having these abilities, students can communicate ideas or mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. However, based on preliminary studies in the form of mathematical communication and class observation tests conducted by researchers in one class at SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan showed that students' mathematical communication ability is still low. The efforts that can be done is to apply a model of learning that can train and cultivate students' mathematical communication ability by applying the learning cycle 5e  model. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the average of improvement mathematical communication skills of students who get a learning model learning cycle 5e higher than students who obtain conventional learning. This type of research is quasi experiment. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research are the students of class VII.1, VII.2, and VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan and the sample is the students of class VII.2 as the experimental class and class VII.3 as the control class. The sampling technique used random cluster sampling. Hypothesis testing of research done by the parametric test (t-test). In this research, it can be concluded that the average improvement mathematical communication ability of students who get the learning cycle 5e model is higher than students who get conventional learning. Keywords:  Mathematical communication skill, learning cycle 5e model, quasi-experiment
