ABSTRACT This study was conducted with the aims of (1) developing teaching materials to write short with storyboard media on high school students; (2) make a lesson plan of writing short story with storyboard media at grade X of high school students; (3) implementation of writing short story with storyboard media at rade X of high school students; (4) knowing the effectiveness of teaching materials in writing short story by using storyboard media at grade X of high school students. This study need a development research method adapted from the Borg and Gall development model with 10 stages beginning with needs analysis, planning, initial product development, initial product revision, product trial, product revision, small field trial, revision product, operational field test (large group), final product revision, and product dissemination and implementation. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the teaching materials to write a short story with the developed storyboard media was considered feasible and effective to be used as teaching materials for Bahasa Indonesia at Grade X of high school students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: (1) mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis cerpen dengan media storyboard pada siswa kelas X SMA, (2) membuat perencanaan pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan media storyboard pada siswa kelas X SMA; (3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan media storyboard pada siswa kelas X SMA; (4) mengetahui keefektifan bahan ajar menulis cerpen dengan media storyboard pada siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Borg & Gall dengan 10 tahapan yang diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, revisi produk awal, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba lapangan utama (kelompok kecil), revisi produk, uji lapangan operasional (kelompok besar), revisi produk akhir, dan diseminasi dan implementasi produk. Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar menulis cerpen dengan media storyboard yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia kelas X SMA.

The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials for writing short stories based on storyboarding techniques in class XI high school students, to know the feasibility of teaching materials for writing short stories based on storyboarding techniques in class XI high school students and to know the effectiveness of short story writing teaching materials based on storyboard techniques in class XI High school. This research is a research development or Research & Development (R&D). Research and Development is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of products in the form of teaching materials to write short stories based on storyboarding techniques for class XI high school students. This development research resulted in the feasibility of the product being developed, a validation test involving media expert lecturers with an average score of 4.5 and Indonesian language professors with an average score of 4.66 and trials on students with an average score of 4, 45 with very good criteria. The eligibility criteria for teaching materials developed with a percentage of eligibility of 89%, the teaching material for writing short stories based on storyboarding techniques for class XI high school students is very feasible to use. To achieve the objectives of teaching and learning activities must be done efficiently in its implementation to be effective and efficient. The feasibility assessment of this module includes four aspects namely, the content / material aspect, the presentation aspect, the language aspect and the graphic aspect.

Artikel ini membahas mengenai wujud solidaritas menentang kekerasan etnis dalam bentuk lomba penulisan cerita pendek bagi Siswa Menengah Atas di Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menggugah rasa empati masyarakat terhadap kekerasan yang berlangsung, khususnya yang menimpa etnis Rohingya yang membuat etnis tersebut harus bermigrasi dari Myanmar ke beberapa negara, seperti: Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, dan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipasif dalam bentuk lomba cerpen dan sosialisasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme dan solidaritas untuk menentang kekerasan telah ditunjukkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya para siswa SMA. Format PPM dalam bentuk lomba penulisan cerita pendek diapresiasi sangat baik oleh pihak sekolah, khususnya guru Bahasa Indonesia, karena mampu memotivasi mahasiswa agar mau berkarya dan kreatif. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia memiliki solidaritas dan empati terhadap kekerasan yang terjadi pada etnis Rohingya. Solidaritas ini terlihat dari naskah-naskah cerpen yang ikut serta dalam lomba yang diselenggarakan dalam skema pengabdian pada masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan KKN.    This article explores the response and solidarity of high school students in Jatinangor and the Regency of Bandung toward ethnic violence captured in short story writing contest. The purpose of this article is to raise the empathy of toward the tragedy, especially toward Rohingya that has experienced such atrocities which lead to fled outside the country to neighbour states, like Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The article uses participation and socialisation methods in the form of the writing contest. The result shows that the high school students are enthusiastic about following the news and shows their solidarity in the form of a short story. Students and teachers, especially the Bahasa Indonesia teacher, give a proper appreciation for this writing contest as a method that can motivate the student to produce some manuscripts creatively. The result shows that Indonesian have solidarity and empathy toward Rohingya. Solidarity beyond the limit of identity as depicted in the short story manuscript that participates in the contest.

Physics teaching materials for Senior High School that supporting the development of human resources that is able to adapt to any changes, to solve complex problems, creative thinking and familiar with information technology has not been widely available in senior high schools in West Sumatra. Based on the above, research that aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Physics teaching materials that integrates Mathematics, Science, Technology, natural disasters, and the noble character (MSTBK) on WEB for Senior High School grade XI and to determine the effect of the use of teaching materials MSTBK on the learning outcomes of high school students in class XI. The quasi-experiment design research was comparing the learning outcome before and after the state of the object being treated. The treatments were using physics teaching materials that developed for teaching learning in Senior High School grade XI. The experiment was conducted at five senior high schools in West Sumatra were divided into 3 levels. The data were analyzed by using a statistical product moment and Anova. The research showed that the physics teaching materials that developed are effectively to improve student learning outcomes in Senior High School grade XI in West Sumatera with a correlation coefficient (r_xy) = 0. 31. Levene Statistic showed the average of the learning outcomes of high school students in grade XI was different, but yet rules Tukey HSD and Bonferroni statistics show that there are not significantly of 0.05 at a significance level in West Sumatra

In 21st century learning, critical thinking skills are the main choice that must be mastered by students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of local wisdom-based science teaching materials in improving junior high school students’ critical thinking skills. Most science teachers still apply teacher-centered learning, so students tend to be passive. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The subjects of the research were grade VII students. Data collection techniques and instruments in the form of tests that include indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis used homogeneity test, Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test, independent sample t-test, and n-gain score. The results of the independent sample t-test are sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000<sig. α = 0.05. Students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class were higher (N-gain score = 39.09%) than in the control class (N-gain score = 12.03%). Based on the study results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of local wisdom-based teaching materials in improving the critical thinking skills of middle school students in the moderate category.
