The background of this research is affected by the supervision conditions of Bogor Regional Secretariat employees who have not been maximized. It is shown from the inspection implementation only done twice in 2017 that is on March 27, and July 3, 2017. The research aims to find out the way of supervision carried out by the head of Bogor Regional Secretariat. This research is a descriptive research using the weight mean score. The sampling technique uses proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample of 69 people and the technique of data collecting uses questionnaires, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the Supervision variable got a score of 3.756 belongs to good criteria.  It can be concluded that the supervision at Bogor Regional Secretariat is in good criteria. This research suggested the head of Bogor Regional Secretariat to approach the employee and make suggestions for making decisions. Keywords: Supervision, Leader, Employee, Regional Secretariat, Bogor City.

This study aims to find out 1) Influence of Student Perception on Financial Compensation and Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students 2) Influence of Student Perception On Financial Compensation On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students and 3) Influence of Student Perception About Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students. The population in this study was students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang and the number of selected samples as many as 119 students. This type of research is descriptive associative research. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling by using proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, analysis requirement test, multiple regression, F test, determinant coefesien and t test. The results showed that 1) Students' Perception of Financial Compensation and Work Environment  had a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 2) Student Perception of Financial Compensation has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 3) Student Perception of The Work Environment has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui budaya informasi pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkapkan dan menjelaskan secara deskriptif mengenai budaya informasi pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Khususnya pada siswa pendidikan luar biasa di provinsi Bali. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan stratified random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti berasal dari sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan luar di provinsi Bali, yakni SLB Negeri 1 Denpasar, SLB Negeri 1 Singaraja dan SLB Negeri 1 Tabanan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ditentukan sebanyak 152 responden. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai budaya informasi yang dimulai dengan cara mendapatkan informasi, mengolah informasi hingga memanfaatkan informasi untuk pengambilan keputusan pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus.Kata kunci: budaya informasi, siswa berkebutuhan khusus, sekolah luar biasaABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the information culture for students with special needs. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with survey approaching. This research attempts to reveal and explain descriptively about the information culture for students with special needs. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling. The number of samples studied originated from extraordinary schools in the bali province, namely are SLB Negeri 1 Denpasar, SLB 1 Singaraja and SLB 1 Tabanan . Based on the results of calculations determined as many as 152 respondents. This study provides an overview of the information culture that begins with how to obtain information, process information to utilize information for decision making on students with special needs.Keywords: information culture, students with special needs, extraordinary schools

Previous studies have found that market orientation practices were important in benefiting the continuity of the business firms. In this regard, the study tries to focus on the market orientation practices using MKTOR scale including customer orientation, competitor orientation and coordination between functions. The survey type of study was carried out among 136 micro-sized enterprises in Perlis and grouped into four major towns using stratified random sampling technique. Results from the descriptive analysis were shown that the mean value for the three market orientation constructs was at medium high level. The issue gives an overview of moderate market orientation practices amongst such enterprises. This finding provides useful enlightenment to micro-sized enterprises and related parties in developing the business in the future. Some implications to the related parties and future suggestions were discussed.

Development of Stimulation, Detection and Early Development (SDIDTK) is a comprehensive activity carried out with families, communities and professionals to produce quality child development processes. This study aims to determine the effect of SDIDTK training on the way mothers stimulate child development in Karunrung Village, Makassar City. This type of research is quasi-experimental with the one group pretest-posttest approach. The population of this study were all mothers who had children aged 3-60 months with a sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling of 30 mothers with sufficient sample using the lamesow formula. The instruments used were the KPSP questionnaire and the observation sheet adopted from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2010 and data analysis used T Test. The results showed that the mother's way of stimulating child development before the training intervention with a mean value of 61.00 and after the training intervention with a mean value of 87.66 where the value of p = 0.000 and the value of α = 0.05, value of p <value of α so that it can be concluded that SDIDTK training affects the way mothers stimulate child development with the strength of correlation which is goodPengembangan Stimulasi, Deteksi, dan Perkembangan Dini (SDIDTK) merupakan kegiatan komprehensif yang dilakukan bersama keluarga, masyarakat, dan tenaga profesional untuk menghasilkan proses tumbuh kembang anak yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan SDIDTK terhadap cara ibu menstimulasi tumbuh kembang anak di Desa Karunrung Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki anak usia 3-60 bulan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional stratified random sampling sebanyak 30 ibu dengan sampel cukup menggunakan rumus lamesow. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket KPSP dan lembar observasi yang diadopsi dari Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia tahun 2010 dan analisis datanya menggunakan Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cara ibu menstimulasi tumbuh kembang anak sebelum dilakukan intervensi pelatihan dengan nilai mean 61.00 dan setelah intervensi pelatihan dengan nilai mean 87.66 dimana nilai p = 0.000 dan nilai α = 0.05, nilai p <nilai α sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan SDIDTK berpengaruh terhadap cara ibu menstimulasi tumbuh kembang anak dengan kekuatan korelasi yang baik

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence between the qualification of selection toward work productivity employee in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. The Type of research is clausal assosiative.The sampling technique is probability sampling by using proportionate stratified random sampling. Sample in this research are amounted to 53 people. Data collecting using questionnaires based on likert scale that has been tested of validity and reliability. Based on the result of thereresearch concluded that in general about qualification of selection in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is als good 38,62 %. Work productivity employee in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is also good 66,7 %. The result also indicate that are significant influence between qualification of selection and work productivity in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is 51,2% and 48,8% another factor on a 0,000 < 0,05 significant.

The aims of this research is was to find out the profile of overall science critical thinking ability and based on the gender of viii grade students of SMPN at Ende city. This research was a descriptive research. The population of this research were all the VIII grade students of SMPN at Ende city academic year 2017/2018. As many as 804 students and the sample were 10% of the populations, they were 80 students. This research used random sampling technique. The data were obtained from the score of science critical thinking ability. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. the result shows that the average of science critical thinking ability of students was 66,84 which is categorized as medium or critical enough. Meanwhile, based on the gender perspective, the female group obtained the average as 68,56 which is categorized as high or critical. Meanwhile, male obtained the 62,03 which is categorized as medium or critical enough.

This study aims to assess teachers’ competence in learning process.  Research used is quantitative approach designed descriptively.  The research paticipant are 76 studens determined by proportional stratified random sampling technique (class A to F). The data for teaching competency were collected using questionnaire developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (2015), involving 28 closed-statements with Likert scale model. The questionnaire was responded on a scale of 5 to 1 (very good/very high/always up to not good/very low/never). All data is processed by descriptive analysis using SPSS 20.00 for windows. The result is that the 9 courses which are assessed formatively by the participants indicated that the teaching competence is in the very high category (69%) so that it needs to be maintained and developed continuously.

There is a recent wave of collapsing Microfinance Institution&rsquo;s in Ghana which causes SMEs to think critically about the MFI&rsquo;s they choose to bank with. This has given birth to the investigation of factors that influence SMEs choice of services rendered by microfinance institutions in Ghana. The study adopted the descriptive research design. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the SMEs for this study and data was collected from a sample of 384 using questionnaires and 279 were returned. The study revealed that electronic banking, convenience and security influences, reputation and legal regulation, interest rate and service provided by the microfinance institution are essential factors that influence the choice of SMEs. The study concludes that the reputation of a business is also essential to its survival, the trust and confidence of the SME can have a direct and profound effect on microfinance institutions. The study recommended that, microfinance institutions should make it a must to obtain all necessary banking licenses from Bank of Ghana before they commence business in order to avoid the embodiment of fear of collapse into potential SME&rsquo;s who might be willing to transact business with them and also educate those who render services on behalf of the bank. Customer service is very important and should be considered as the first priority of the bank.

ABSTRACT         This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of tahfizd participants in the Al-Hasib Banyan Al-Hasib TPQ-TPSQ allegedly due to the lack of management of the learning environment in Al-Hasib Nagari TPQ-TPSQ Lansat Kadap, Rao Selatan District, Pasaman Regency. This study aims to: (1) describe the management of the learning environment, (2) describe the learning outcomes of participants, and (3) see the relationship between the management of the learning environment and the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants at TPQ / TPSQ Al-Hasib in Beringin.                    This study is classified as correlational quantitative with a population of all TPQ and TPSQ participants consisting of elementary school children in grades V and VI and junior classes I, II, III with 28 people. While the sample was taken as much as 75% of the population, amounting to 21 people with stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using structured interviews and then analyzed using descriptive analysis and the rhank order correlation formula.                    The results showed that: (1) the management of learning environment in TPQ-TPSQ Al-Hasib was categorized as still not good, (2) the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants in TPQ-TPSQ Al-Hasib Banyan were relatively low, and (3) there was a significant relationship between management of the learning environment with the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants at the TPQ / TPSQ Al-Hasib Banyan Nagari Lansat Kadap Kecamatan Rao Selatan Pasaman RegencyKeywords: environmental management, learning outcomes

This research is motivated by the many children of oil palm farmers who continue the efforts of their parents to cultivate oil palm, this is allegedly because of the way parents educate children as oil palm farmers. This study aims to describe children's responses to the way parents educate children as oil palm farmers which consists of three types of ways to educate children: (a) exemplary, (b) habituation, (c) advice, (d) attention, and (e) punishment. This research includes quantative descriptive research. The population in this study were children of oil palm farmers totaling 120 people with a sample of 60 people using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires or questionnaires, while data analysis uses a percentage formula. The results showed that children's responses to the way parents educate children as oil palm farmers in Nagari Lunang Selatan, Lunang Subdistrict, South Coastal District which included (a) exemplary aspects were categorized very well, (b) habituation aspects were categorized very well, (c) advice aspects categorized very well, (d) aspects of attention are categorized very well, and (e) aspects of punishment are categorized very well.
