Excessive anxiety during childbirth can cause changes in bodily functions. The impact is that the labor process takes longer, causing complications to both mother and baby. One of the non-pharmacological ways that can be done so that the labor process is gone naturally is by providing complementary massage therapy and frangipani aromatherapy. This research aims to determine the effect of back massage using frangipani aromatherapy oil in the first stage of labor on the duration of childbirth. The type of this research is Quasi-Experimental Design, posttest control group design. The sample is 80 people consisting of the control group of 40 people and the treatment group of 40 people. The sampling technique used is Consecutive Nonprobability Sampling. The data were recorded in the observation sheet. Also. The data analysis was done through univariate and bivariate "unpaired t-test". The results showed that the average duration of childbirth in the control group was 31.25 minutes, while the treatment group was 23.75 minutes. There is an effect of massage using frangipani aromatherapy oil in the first stage of labor on the duration of childbirth at a significance level of 0.01 (p <0.05). In conclusion, there is the effect of massage using frangipani aromatherapy oil in the first stage of labor on the duration of childbirth. It is hoped that midwives will use complementary frangipani aromatherapy massage in providing midwifery care during the first stage of normal labor.

The sampling technique using total sampling technique with the sample number 40students.This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained count (4,28>2,03). The result of Civic learning obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, it is shown from mean 77,35 and the mean obtained by the control group is 74,1.

The aim of this research is to know the impact of the applying Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods toward the learning motivation and result of physics learning. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with posttest only control group design. The population was all student of grade XI in senior high school 1 of  Labuapi. The sampling technique used saturation sampling, while the sample are class XI MIA 1 as the experimental 1 class, and the XI MIA 2 as experimental 2 class. Experimental 1 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model with experimental methods and experimental 2 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model without experimental methods. The instrument of motivation learning was used motivation questionnaire and instrument the result of physics learning used multiple choice test. The research hypothesis was tested using Manova-test, data analysis shows that Sig. <0,05 which mean that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there are effect of Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods on student’s motivation and physics learning result.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><strong>Background:</strong> One of nutritious problems susceptibly encountred in the world nowadays is kid’s stunting. Stunting is a failure of growth condition and cronical nutritious problems caused by poor nutritious supply because of improper meal provisions in long term growth consumptions. Stunting could be primarily prevented by increasing knowledge about stunting prevention through consuming moringa oleifera regularly. <strong>The aim:</strong> This study is intended to know the impact of education on mother’s knowledge for stunting prevention through regular moringa oleifera consumption. <strong>Research Method: </strong>This research applied a quasi experimental design by generating non equivalent control group which complied two groups; 30 subjects (mothers) were considered as treatment group; whereas, other 30 subjects (mothers) were taken as control group. Thus sampling technique applied was consecutive sampling. <strong>Results:</strong> The study showed that there was a significant impact on education score before and after intervention effects towards the treatment group (p=0,000); whereas there was no significant difference on the control group (p=0,184). The statistical analysis applied independent sample t-test which showed if educational aspect significantly impacted on the increase of mother’s knowledge (p=0,000). <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Educational aspect impacted on mother’s knowledge for stunting prevention through moringa oleifera.</p>

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan bantuan video kartun terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Sikur tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah 113 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 37 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, analisis tingkat kesukaran, dan analisis daya beda soal. Data hasil tes akhir dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dengan rumus pooled varians dan diperoleh thitung sebesar (5,318) dengan ttabel sebesar (1,996) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan video kartun berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Sikur. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, video kartun, hasil belajar.Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video of the physics student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The study population was all students (113 students) of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Sikur academic year 2014/2015. Sampling was done through purposive sampling technique with class XI IPA 2 as experimental class (37 students) and class XI IPA 1 as the control class ( 36 students). The nonequivalent control group was used as the experimental design. The instruments used in the form of a written test in the form of multiple choices previously tested the validity, reliability, analysis of the level of difficulty, and analysis about the different power. The final test result data were analyzed using t-test two parties with pooled variance formula and obtained tcount of (5.318) with ttable of (1.996) at the 5% significance level. The value of tcount greater than ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This suggests that the problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video has effect on the student class XI of SMAN 1 Sikur physics learning outcomes.Keywords: Problem-based learning model, video cartoon, learning outcomes

The low competence of civic education knowledge due to less optimal use of models when learning resulted that students have difficulty understanding learning and getting bored quickly. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model based on the civic on the knowledge competence of civic education. This study was a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. A total of 184 students from 6th grade IV became the population. Samples were selected using a random sampling technique. Knowledge competence of civic education data collection used multiple-choice objective test instruments. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test, namely polled variance. The results of data analysis obtained t-count = 2.880> t-table = 2.005 at a significance level of 5% with dk = n1 + n2-2 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the knowledge competence of civic education between students who are taught the Value Clarification Technique learning model based on the folklore.

Surgery is a medical procedure that can trigger anxiety, lavender aromatherapy is one alternative intervention that can be done to overcome this anxiety. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of lavender aroma therapy on the anxiety of pre cataract surgery patients. The research method used was quasi experimental pre and post test with control group design. This study was conducted on 30 respondents selected through consecutive sampling technique and divided into two groups, namely 15 people in the control group and 15 people in the treatment group. The results of this study showed that through the Wilcoxon test found p=0.008, there was a significant effect of lavender aromatherapy on anxiety in the treatment group. In the Mann Whitney test found p=0.006, there was a significant difference in the effect of lavender aromatherapy on anxiety in the treatment and control groups. Thus, there is a significant effect of the lavender aromatherapy on the anxiety of pre-cataract surgery patients. Nurses can provide aromas of lavender therapy to reduce the anxiety of preoperative patients so that the surgical procedure can work well.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD (Student Team Achivement Divisions) berbantuan LKS terhadap hasil belajar keamanan pangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok sampel, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran (STAD) Student Team Achievement Divisions berbantuan LKS, sedangkan kelompok kontrol adalah kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji t, diperoleh thitung adalah 5,36. Sedangkan ttabel sebesar 1,67 dengan taraf signifikansi adalah 5%. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar keamanan pangan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) berbantuan LKS dengan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas X Jasa Boga SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja. The determination of this study was carried out by random sampling technique. Based on the results of hypothesis testing whit the ttest, it was found to be 5,36. While the ttable (0,05) is 1,67 with a significance level of 5%. This study aimed to find out the significant effect of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model, student's academic ability, and the interaction between learning models and academic ability of the students’ argumentation skills. The population was all students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. The Samples were students of class VIII A and VIII B selected from the population by random cluster sampling technique. This study was quasi-experimental with Pretest Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used was argumentation skills test on the material motion systems in humans. The data were statistically analyzed using Ankova test and test Significant Difference (LSD) respectively at 5% significance level. The results showed that the learning ADI model, academic ability, and the interaction between the ADI model and academic abilities significantly influenced argumentation skills with significant value of each were 0,000; 0.007; and 0.038.
