Social Service in SMP Negeri 1 Bungoro, located in Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. The problem of partners is that teachers still have difficulty planning and implementing Classroom Action Research. An alternative solution to the problem is to provide Classroom Action Research Training to the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Bungoro, Pangkep Regency. The output target to be achieved is the skill of the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Bungoro, Pangkep Regency in compiling a Classroom Action Research proposal so that it can improve the quality of learning. The method to be carried out is the presentation of material on classroom action research in PowerPoint displayed on the LCD. From the results of the activities that have been carried out, it is found that there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing Classroom Action Research Proposals

Improvement of the national education system is needed so that the quality of education increases one of the efforts to improve the quality of education is by increasing teacher professionalism. Increased professionalism of teachers is characterized by an increase in competencies that must be possessed by teachers, namely pedagogical competencies related to management of students, social competencies related to communication skills, personal competencies related to the ability of teachers to have wise personalities, and professional competencies related to ability teacher to master knowledge and improve the quality of learning. One way that can be taken in improving the quality of learning is to carry out classroom action research. Class action research is a research activity to solve learning problems. By conducting classroom action research, teachers are able to improve the learning process through a study of what is happening in their classrooms. The purpose of this training is to find out how far the teacher's knowledge and practices are about Classroom Action Research. The methods that will be used to provide this training include: lectures, questions and answers, discussions, assignments, individual guidance, and independent training in the form of projects. From the results of the overall evaluation of the implementation of the Classroom Action Research training at SD Nurul, Sidoarjo Wisdom was fairly successful, it was seen from the implementation indicators and the results obtained from this training with fairly good values.

Classroom Action Research Training for Aisyiyah PAUD Central Java Teachers to Improve the Quality of Learning delivered by the Principal and Teacher Training of PAUD 'Aisyiyah PWA Central Java, this activity aims to: 1) instill awareness in PAUD 'Aisyiyah teachers on the importance of Classroom Action Research 2) improve skills prepare proposals for Classroom Action Research 3) provide assistance related to Classroom Action Research, 4) train teachers to be able to provide treatment to the subjects studied, so that they experience positive changes. The methods used in this training are presentations, discussions, case studies. This training activity was attended by 142 teachers from PAUD 'Aisyiyah in Central Java. The results of the service are theoretically successful, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the training participants who actively ask questions about the problems they encounter related to the steps of preparing the CAR proposal, but judging from the practice of preparing the proposal the results have not been satisfactory, because only 15% of participants can prepare a CAR proposal properly. and 33% is considered sufficient, while 52% of participants have not succeeded in compiling a CAR proposal. It is not easy to write CAR, it requires independent effort training from the teacher concerned to solve the problems faced in PBM. In general, PAUD 'Aisyiyah Central Java teachers need further assistance in writing Classroom Action Research.

The task of the teacher is to improve the quality of learning in a systematic and controlled manner through the use of educational research. The results of interviews with the principal at SMPK Santa Clara Surabaya, have obtained information that most teachers have not been able to improve the quality of learning. Classroom Action Research (CAR) training is expected to be able to understand and apply educational research methods to help solve learning problems. The training methods include material explanation, assignment, proposal making, individual presentation, task discussion, presentation assessment and training evaluation. The results of the training evaluation conducted through the Google Form application showed that 7 participants (58.3%) stated it was sufficient, 3 participants (25%) said it was good, and 2 participants (16.7%) stated that it was very good in understanding and implementing classroom action research proposals based on training method used. The results of the assessment of the PTK proposal presentation showed a very good criterion value with details of the performance criteria of 5 people (41.6%), mastery of 3 participants (25%), quality of material 4 participants (33.3%), use of time 5 participants (41.6 %) and the ability to answer 4 participants (33.3%).

This Community Service activity intended as an effort to improve the quality of learning and professionalism of teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari by using training activities to improve the ability to implement innovative learning through Classroom Action research (CAR). CAR is intended to achieve several output targets which include: 1) Increase the understanding of teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari about CAR concepts and practices to maximize self-evaluation as part of the teacher professional competency development process; 2)Improve teacher understanding of CAR concepts and practices; 3) Reducing the teaching quality gap between schools partner with other schools that qualified in air-CAR for their share of problems, exchange ideas and experiences, trials with, frank discussion between a teacher and a team of science and technology, and adjustment of the solution to the institutional structures and informal practices; 4) For schools, if the teacher in  Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari can conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR), then student learning outcomes will improve so that it hoped that the quality of the school would also increase.  At this time PKM produced seven titles of CAR proposals provided by the teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari who were ready to be submitted to the Action level

<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>One of the requirements that must be met is to improve the quality of education by creating professional teachers. Based on the results of observations made from 9 (nine) teachers, only 1 (one) teacher has the ability to compile CAR, while 8 (eight) people do not have the ability to compile CAR. This is due to the lack of teachers getting information about the technique of preparing the CAR and the teachers are not accustomed to compiling research, so that the teachers are less able to prepare CAR In this regard, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the ability of teachers in preparing CAR. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase teacher professionalism through classroom action research and writing of environmental scientific papers at SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. The method of activities carried out in this community service is training / counseling, guidance and mentoring which is integrated in classroom action research workshops (PTK). The form of activities to be carried out is training in the form of: designing and implementing models, methods, media, and learning approaches as outlined in the classroom action research proposal; implementation of classroom action research; interpreting implementation results through classroom action research reports; and writing scientific papers. The outputs that will be produced in this activity include: classroom action research proposals, classroom action research reports, and journals published by the teacher. All participants will be accompanied and guided in the process of making proposals, reports, and copying articles in accredited or not accredited national journals.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> <em>Salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menciptakan guru yang professional. </em><em>Berdasarkan hasil observasi </em><em>yang dilakukan </em><em> dari 9 (sembilan) orang guru, hanya 1</em><em> (satu)</em><em> orang guru memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK, sedangkan 8 </em><em>(delapan) </em><em>orang belum memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya guru mendapatkan informasi tentang teknik penyusunan PTK dan guru tidak terbiasa menyusun penelitian, sehingga para guru kurang mampu dalam menyusun PTK. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun PTK.</em><em> Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui penelitian tindakan kelas dan penulisan karya ilmiah </em><em>lingkungan</em><em> SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan/penyuluhan, pembimbingan dan pendampingan yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan workshop penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilakukan yaitu pelatihan berupa: perancangan dan penerapan model, metode, media, maupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang dituangkan dalam proposal penelitian tindakan kelas; pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas; menginterpretasikan hasil pelaksanaan melalui laporan penelitian tindakan kelas; dan penulisan karya ilmiah.Luaran yang akan dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini antara lain: proposal penelitian tindakan kelas, laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, dan jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh guru. Seluruh peserta akan didampingi dan dibimbing dalam proses pembuatan proposal, laporan, hingga mensumbit artikel pada jurnal nasional yang terakreditasi atau tidak terakreditasi.</em></p>

The objective of this study was to improve the quality of learning in the subject of Restaurant indicated by the improvement of learning activities and the students’ achievement through the application of contextual learning in the department of Hospitality Engineering. This study is categorised into classroom action research. The data was analysed descriptively. The results revealed: (1) The students were more active in the learning process as indicated by the improvement of the learning activities proved by the following data: in the first cycle, the percentages of the students who pay attention to the lecturers’ explanation, answer questions by providing daily life examples, express opinions, and conduct presentations were 47.5%, 25% 12.5%, 15% respectively, while in the second cycle, they were 52.5%, 12.5%, 50%, 10% respectively. (2) The students demonstrate better mastery of the materials as indicated by the following data: the percentages of the students who achieved very good, good, fair and poor scores were 10%, 50%, 15% and 25% respectively while in the second cycle the students who achieved very good and good scores were 62.5% and 37.5% respectively.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah Restoran yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Prodi PT Boga melalui penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) keaktifan mahasiswa pada pembelajaran Restoran meningkat, terlihat dari data siklus I, mahasiswa memperhatikan penjelasan dosen sebanyak 47,5%, mahasiswa menjawab pertanyaan dengan memberikan contoh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebanyak 25%, mahasiswa mengemukakan pendapat sebanyak 12,5% dan mahasiswa melakukan presentasi sebanyak 15%, pada siklus II keaktifan belajar mahasiswa memperhatikan penjelasan dosen meningkat sebesar 52,5%, menjawab pertanyaan meningkat 12,5%, mengemukakan pendapat meningkat 50%, dan kegiatan presentasi meningkat 10%; 2) tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap materi pembelajaran Restoran meningkat, terlihat dari data siklus I, 10% mahasiswa memperoleh nilai amat baik, 50% mahasiswa memperoleh nilai baik, 15% mahasiswa memperoleh cukup, dan 25% mahasiswa memperoleh nilai kurang, pada siklus II, hasil belajar mahasiswa pada siklus II adalah 62,5% mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai amat baik dan 37,5% mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai baik.

Abstract The research was a classroom action research aimed at improving the quality of students learning Indonesian Makassar Unismuh junior class IXA through contextual approach. This study consisted of two cycles of the first cycle for 4 meetings and the second cycle for 4 meetings. The subjects were students of class IXA Makassar Junior Unismuh the number of 30 students in the first semester of the 2015/2016 school year on the subject of short stories. Collecting data through the test results of this research study, observation sheet activities of students and teachers as well as student questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Based on the analysis, the results of studying Indonesian students has increased, which includes the average score Indonesian learning outcomes of students in the first cycle was 75.5 with a standard deviation of 9.87. In the second cycle the average score Indonesian student learning outcomes is 85.2 with a standard deviation of 12.36. The percentage of students who achieve mastery minimum is 23 or 76.66% in the first cycle and 27 or 90% in the second cycle. While data on the observation of activity of students and teachers were analyzed qualitatively also increased for applied learning with contextual approach in class IXA Unismuh SMP. In addition, the students' response to the contextual approach was generally positive with the average number of 95.18. So in general it can be concluded that the quality of learning Indonesian students has increased.Keywords: Quality of Learning, Contextual Approach. Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IXA SMP Unismuh Makassar melalui pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yaitu siklus I selama 4 kali pertemuan dan siklus II selama 4 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IXA SMP Unismuh Makassar dengan jumlah siswa 30 pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan pokok bahasan cerita pendek. Pengambilan data penelitian ini melalui tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru serta angket respon siswa. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis, hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa mengalami peningkatan, yang meliputi skor rata-rata hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa pada siklus I adalah 75,5 dengan standar deviasi 9,87. Pada siklus II skor rata-rata hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa adalah 85,2 dengan standar deviasi 12,36. Persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan minimal adalah 23 atau 76,66 % pada siklus I dan 27 atau 90% pada siklus II. Sedangkan data hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru yang dianalisis secara kualitatif juga mengalami peningkatan selama diterapkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa kelas IXA SMP Unismuh. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pendekatan kontekstual secara umum positif dengan jumlah rata-rata sebesar 95,18. Sehingga secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran bahasa indonesia siswa mengalami peningkatan.Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pembelajaran, Pendekatan Kontekstual.

Teachers must be able to increase the standard of their student's education. Various innovations in improving the quality of learning can be done through Classroom Action Research. However, the facts show that the productivity of teachers at SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang has not shown significant development. As part of efforts to improve the quality of student learning in class, many teachers have not been able to implement Classroom Action Research. Therefore, this service seeks to provide classroom action research training assistance to teachers of SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Malang. This service program is carried out in four structured activities, namely sharing, concept expository, training and mentoring, and writing research articles. Through the activities that have been carried out, it was found that the main cause of the absence of the research being conducted was motivation. Through psychological strengthening and intensive mentoring, supported by a strategy to develop worksheet instruments, can provide significant results. Teachers of SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang can design and produce classroom action research.

Based on the results of tests conducted on social studies student learning results obtained arelow, the researchers observed that in general the students have not reached the limit ofmastery learning expected by SBC. Students who reach KKM on the subjects of socialsciences with KKM 65 only 10 (50%) of 20 students. Furthermore, the low student learningoutcomes occurred is also due in teaching subjects the researcher as a teacher gives lessvariation and implementing teaching methods that can make students feel happy and makeactive students become more active and creative in learning which in turn student learningoutcomes low, This research forms a classroom action research. Classroom action researchis one of the efforts of teachers in the form of various activities undertaken to improve or toimprove the quality of learning in the classroom. From the research data result of learningIPS above can be seen yield increases social studies students from the action on thepreliminary data for the first cycle to the second cycle by improving student learningoutcomes that menigkat are significant, the initial data of students who achieve mastery only50% and in I cycle to the increase has reached 70% and the thoroughness of the class in thesecond cycle reaches 80% of the 20 students of grade VI SD Negeri 007 Kampung Baru

Teachers as professionals are required to always improve their competence and capabilities so that theycan teach their students as well as and as much as possible. One effort that can be done by the teacher is to improvethe quality of learning through classroom action research. This community service aims to motivate teachers in SMPNegeri 23 Makassar to carry out classroom action research and to help them improve their competence inconducting classroom action research (CAR). The service in the form of workshop provided training to t he teachersin the school which was attended by 55 teachers. The methods used are lectures, discussions, question and answer,and training. The activity includes: 1) lecturing on how to carry out a classroom action research; (2) techniques forpreparing classroom action research proposals; and (3) techniques for preparing classroom action research reports.The output of this program are: 1) the teachers are motivated and willing to develop learning innovations in schoolsthrough classroom action research and 2) the teachers make proposals and carry out classroom action research.
