Henrik Ibsen’s drama A Doll’s House portrays the late 19th century Norway where protagonist Nora and her eventual manifestation of Feminism are almost all the time at the centre of critical attention. But Mrs. Kristina Linde is also a character of magnanimous stature with her enthusiastic sense of belonging and heart-felt services to family and society. In this manner, the human-centric role provides Linde with satisfaction that amounts to happiness, taking her ways ahead of emancipation in a world where women’s emancipation from sufferings is still an unresolved issue. Notably, Linde’s human-centric role gains authenticity as a true means of women’s emancipation by reflecting higher knowledge which is essential for any human affair to be true and real. Thus, this paper aims at exploring how Mrs. Kristina Linde in A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen, being in her family and society and playing vital roles accordingly, derives happiness proving the truth that all women can be human-centric in family and society, and can have happiness going far ahead of emancipation changing the global scenario of women’s misery. The methodology of thematic analysis was followed in this research. The research may contribute in propounding human-centric family and social life as the proper means of women’s emancipation.

The article is devoted to the role of Islam in culture and social life of the Turkmen of southern Russia. The study is based on the author's field materials collected in 2007–2015 in the Stavropol and Astrakhan Regions. The ethnic group of the Russian Turkmen was formed in the XVII–XIX centuries and currently counts about 17,000 people. The Turkmen are Sunni Muslims, most of their customs and rituals are associated with Muslim prayers and symbolism. At the same time, the Turkmen are not among the zealous Muslims, in their spiritual culture there are folk customs and beliefs that are very superficially associated with Islam. In the Soviet period, the Russian Turkmen maintained their religion, secretly carried out Islamic rites and rules, despite the anti-religious state policy. Currently, the religiousness of the Turkmen varies greatly, but almost all families hold major religious ceremonies. Mosques play the role of community centers, social life in the Turkmen settlements is closely intertwined with religious life, and the mullahs are local leaders and take part in self-government bodies. Propaganda of fundamentalist Islam has not bypassed the Turkmen, as many regions of the North Caucasus. A peculiar situation has developed: young people have become involved in religion much more than old honored people, educated in the Soviet ideals. Residents of the Turkmen settlements and imams of mosques are trying to resist the spread of fundamentalist ideas. The situation is particularly difficult in the Stavropol Territory; so the regional administration is trying to control any cultural and religious activities on the ground, sometimes suspecting “Wahhabi sentiments” among quite loyal citizens, such as the Turkmen. It is important that the Turkmen are almost the only people of this region who, traditionally practicing Islam, retain complete loyalty to the Russian population and the Russian state

Henrik Ibsen’s classic play A Doll’s House and Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt’s rock musical Next to Normal were written over a century apart, yet each boldly portrays a woman’s desire to leave her family without berating her decision. The relationship of Natalie, Diana’s daughter, and her classmate Henry parallels the relationship between Mrs. Linde and Krogstad. The mothers in both plays have a somewhat romantic relationship with the doctors of the plays to whom they both tell their secrets, reflected in Dr. Rank’s unrequited love for Nora and Diana’s “intense and very intimate” dance with her psychiatrist. Both plays exhibit Brian Johnston’s idea of three “seismic convulsions” that eventually shatter the home. Next to Normal is A Doll’s House of our generation that continues Nora’s story by choosing to focus on the consequences of the wife’s final action. While the setting, illusion, and final action of both plays are wildly similar, the role of the children in each is radically different, changing the entire perception by the audience. While family dysfunction is accepted as normal, these plays show the danger of living in such a house. A Doll’s House does this by portraying the harm of this life on the wife, Next to Normal by illustrating the harm on the family. Each shows the pain of living a lie and conveys the controversial idea that a woman’s duty, above all else, is to herself.

Abstract The aim of this study is to investigate the important role of liberal-communitarian debate in cultural heritage law and politics. Derek Gillman in the book titled “The Idea of Cultural Heritage” stressed that “During recent decades, two parallel debates have occurred with respect to public policy and heritage”, and mentioned above is the second one, which “takes place between political philosophers, especially liberal and communitarian thinkers of various shades.” The following study brings attention to the external perspective. That is, these philosophical concepts which appeared beyond legal sciences, but they have the impact on both law and almost all aspects of social life. Liberalism and communitarianism, despite their differences, are particularly useful lens through which to consider law and its functions within contemporary society. Therefore, this begs the question as to what is their approach to the cultural heritage law and practice. While much has been written about liberalism and communitarianism, their impact on cultural heritage still remains shrouded in mystery. We do accept and stress that cultural heritage law is nowadays recognised as the multilevel legal instruments for safeguarding, protection, preservation and maintenance of cultural heritage, cultural property, or even cultural rights. It is not only “multilevel”, but also “multivalued”, and for that reason many theoretical and practical problems are noticed. Liberalism versus communitarianism is one of the most significant debate. As a result, the main aim of this article is to outline the influence of liberalism and communitarianism on cultural heritage law.

Fatima Mernissi is a figure of modern Muslim feminism. He was an Arab Muslim woman sociologis who care gender issues in the lives of Muslims. Gender issues, especially he observed and he is paying special attention to gender issues in her native Morocco. Much of his talk about the problems of sexuality in the dynamics of social life which can not be separated from the Morocco Islam as a religious belief. It is universally thought of Fatima Mernissi actually want to show partiality Islam on gender equality. Substantively Islam does not forbid women to politics, career, and obtain higher education. Fatima Mernissi further want to show that Islam recognizes the rights, status and role of women in almost all dimensions of life. Ia adalah seorang wanita muslim Arab pakar sosiologi yang peduli masalah gender dalam kehidupan umat Islam. Masalah gender yang terutama ia amati dan ia beri perhatian khusus adalah masalah gender di negara kelahirannya Maroko. Banyak karyanya berbicara tentang problem seksualitas dalam dinamika kehidupan sosial Maroko yang tidak terlepas dari Islam sebagai agama keyakinannya. Secara universal pemikiran Fatima Mernissi sebenarnya ingin menampilkan keberpihakan Islam pada kesetaraan gender. Islam secara substantif tidak melarang wanita untuk berpolitik, berkarir, dan memperoleh pendidikan yang tinggi. Fatima Mernissi lebih lanjut ingin menunjukkan bahwa Islam mengakui hak-hak, status, dan peran wanita dalam hampir semua dimensi kehidupan.

Islamic Boarding school is an islamic education institution which has an identical tradition in indonesian muslim societuy. This institution has emerged long before the colonialism era in Indonesia. In its long history since years to pursue the concept of modernism, islamic boarding school, sometimes ,has also been perceived negatively because of transnasionalism ideology which is adopted in recent years. In that case, this paper aimed to describe the existence of islamic boarding school in indonesian social life. By argumenting and comparing some previous studies in this case to gain an accurate result. Moreover, this paper is intended to answer some western perception about islamic boarding school in Indonesia, and finally emphasize the role of islamic boarding school as a government partner and its function in creating democracy.  Keyword: Islamic Boarding School, Tradition, Modernization.

Walter Pater's late-nineteenth-century literary genre of the imaginary portrait has received relatively little critical attention. Conceived of as something of a continuum between his role as an art critic and his fictional pursuits, this essay probes the liminal space of the imaginary portraits, focusing on the role of the parergon, or frame, in his portraits. Guided by Pater's reading of Kant, who distinguishes between the work (ergon) and that which lies outside of the work (the parergon), between inside and outside, and contextualised alongside the analysis of Derrida, who shows how such distinctions have always already deconstructed themselves, I demonstrate a similar operation at work in the portraits. By closely analysing the parerga of two of Pater's portraits, ‘Duke Carl of Rosenmold’ (1887) and ‘Apollo in Picardy’ (1893), focusing on his partial quotation of Goethe in the former, and his playful autocitation and impersonation of Heine in the latter, I argue that Pater's parerga seek to destabilise the relationship between text and context so that the parerga do not lie outside the text but are implicated throughout in their reading, changing the portraits constitutively. As such, the formal structure of the parergon in Pater's portraits is also a theoretical fulcrum in his aesthetic criticism and marks that space where the limits of, and distinctions between, art and life become blurred.

Subject. The article discusses how management transforms as artificial intelligence gets more important in governance, production and social life. Objectives. We identify and substantiate trends in management transformation as artificial intelligence evolves and gets more important in governance, production and social life. The article also provides our suggestions for management and training of managers dealing with artificial intelligence. Methods. The study employs methods of logic research, analysis and synthesis through the systems and creative approach, methodology of technological waves. Results. We analyzed the scope of management as is and found that threats and global challenges escalate due to the advent of artificial intelligence. We provide the rationale for recognizing the strategic culture as the self-organizing system of business process integration. We suggest and substantiate the concept of soft power with reference to strategic culture, which should be raised, inter alia, through the scientific school of conflict studies. We give our recommendations on how management and training of managers should be improved in dealing with artificial intelligence as it evolves. The novelty hereof is that we trace trends in management transformation as the role of artificial intelligence evolves and growth in governance, production and social life. Conclusions and Relevance. Generic solutions are not very effective for the Russian management practice during the transition to the sixth and seventh waves of innovation. Any programming product represents artificial intelligence, which simulates a personality very well, though unable to substitute a manager in motivating, governing and interacting with people.

The main content of the work consists of certain systematization and addition of longexisting, but eventually deformed and partly lost qualitative ideas about the role of thermal and wind factors that determine the physical mechanism of the World Ocean’s General Circulation System (OGCS). It is noted that the conceptual foundations of the theory of the OGCS in one form or another are contained in the works of many well-known hydrophysicists of the last century, but the aggregate, logically coherent description of the key factors determining the physical model of the OGCS in the public literature is not so easy to find. An attempt is made to clarify and concretize some general ideas about the two key blocks that form the basis of an adequate physical model of the system of oceanic water masses motion in a climatic scale. Attention is drawn to the fact that when analyzing the OGCS it is necessary to take into account not only immediate but also indirect effects of thermal and wind factors on the ocean surface. In conclusion, it is noted that, in the end, by the uneven flow of heat to the surface of the ocean can be explained the nature of both external and almost all internal factors, in one way or another contributing to the excitation of the general, or climatic, ocean circulation.
