Abstract CP violation in charm decay was observed in the decays D0→ P±P∓ of a D0 meson to two pseudoscalars. When interpreted within the SM, the results imply that the ratio of the relevant rescattering amplitudes has a magnitude and phase that are both of O(1). We discuss ways to probe similar ratios in D0→ V±P∓ decays, where V is a vector that decays to two pseudoscalars, from the Dalitz-plot analysis of time-integrated three-body decays. Compared to two-body decays, three-body decays have the advantage that the complete system can be solved without the need for time-dependent CP violation measurements or use of correlated $$ {D}^0-{\overline{D}}^0 $$ D 0 − D ¯ 0 production. We discuss the decays D0→ π+π−π0 and D0→ K+K−π0 as examples by considering a toy model of only two overlapping charged resonances, treating the underlying pseudo two-body decays in full generality.

AbstractIn light of recent experimental results, we revisit the dispersive analysis of the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi $$ ω → 3 π decay amplitude and of the $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 transition form factor. Within the framework of the Khuri–Treiman equations, we show that the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi $$ ω → 3 π Dalitz-plot parameters obtained with a once-subtracted amplitude are in agreement with the latest experimental determination by BESIII. Furthermore, we show that at low energies the $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 transition form factor obtained from our determination of the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi $$ ω → 3 π amplitude is consistent with the data from MAMI and NA60 experiments.

AbstractThe dynamics of the process $$ e^+e^- \rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0 $$ e + e - → π + π - π 0 is studied in the energy region from 1.15 to 2.00 GeV using data accumulated with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 $$e^+e^-$$ e + e - collider. The Dalitz plot distribution and $$\pi ^+\pi ^-$$ π + π - mass spectrum are analyzed in a model including the intermediate states $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π , $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π , and $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 . As a result, the energy dependences of the $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π and $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π cross sections and the relative phases between the $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π amplitude and the $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π and $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 amplitudes are obtained. The $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π cross section has a peak in the energy region of the $$\omega (1650)$$ ω ( 1650 ) resonance (1.55–1.75 GeV). In this energy range the contributions of the $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π and $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π states are of the same order of magnitude. No resonance structure near 1.65 GeV is observed in the $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π cross section. We conclude that the intermediate state $$\rho (1450)\pi $$ ρ ( 1450 ) π gives a significant contribution to the decay of $$\omega (1650)\rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0$$ ω ( 1650 ) → π + π - π 0 , whereas the $$\rho (770)\pi $$ ρ ( 770 ) π mechanism dominates in the decay $$\omega (1420)\rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0$$ ω ( 1420 ) → π + π - π 0 .

AbstractA first search for $$CP$$ CP violation in the Cabibbo-suppressed $${{{\varXi }} ^+_{c}} \rightarrow {p} {{K} ^-} {{\pi } ^+} $$ Ξ c + → p K - π + decay is performed using both a binned and an unbinned model-independent technique in the Dalitz plot. The studies are based on a sample of proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $$3.0\,\text {fb} ^{-1} $$ 3.0 fb - 1 , and collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and $$8\,\text {TeV} $$ 8 TeV . The data are consistent with the hypothesis of no $$CP$$ CP violation.

The KLOE detector at the DA[Formula: see text]NE [Formula: see text]-factory has been operating in two periods from 2001–2006 and from 2014–2018 collecting a large sample of [Formula: see text]-meson decays. This allowed to perform precision measurements and studies of fundamental symmetries, and searches of New Physics phenomena. In this overview, the results of KLOE and KLOE-2 Collaborations are presented. The most recent results from the KLOE experiment are discussed, covering: the measurement of the running fine-structure constant [Formula: see text], the Dalitz plot measurement of [Formula: see text], the search of a [Formula: see text] boson, tests of discrete symmetries and quantum decoherence.
