Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women is a condition of pregnant women due to an imbalance in the intake of energy and protein nutrients, so that the substances the body needs are not fulfilled. Incident chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women have a risk of abortion, bleeding, prolonged labor, infection, low birth weight baby, birth defects, and causes of death indirectly. An attemt to resolve the incidence of malnutrition in pregnant women in chronic energy deficiency with supplementary food. Type of qualitative research. Research informants were pregnant women chronic energy deficiency, nutrition staff, midwives, health promotion officers, and cadres. Research results are the knowledge of pregnant women in chronic energy deficiency about supplementary feeding is stil lacking, the attitudes of pregnant women in chronic energy deficiency and their husband’s support about supplementary feeding are already good, compliance of pregnant women in chronic energy deficiency is still lacking, acceptance of pregnant women in chronic energy deficiency about supplementary feeding is stil lacking, delivery of information when counseling needs to be improved by using the contemporary method, distribution of supplementary feeding for Puskesmas officers in collaboration with cadres. Advice doing technical guidance to health workers about supplementary feeding, health workers increase again in providing information related to supplementary feeding, provide information using digital media such as video, made a special trick of setting an alarm as a reminder to consume supplementary feeding, make derivate technical guidelines from the ministry of helath according to conditions in the field.

Career guidance and counseling (CGC) is vital for smooth career development. Pakistan is a developing country having scarce CGC services; CGC is an emerging field in the country. CGC needs of undergraduates and the services available to them have not been explored extensively through research. This study explored it through 18 semi-structured in-depth interviews with undergraduates using a convenient and snowball sampling strategy. Data were analyzed by thematic analysis. Two main themes emerged, CGC needs of undergraduates and available CGC options for undergraduates, along with 10 subthemes in total. Undergraduates needed self-awareness, direction, decision-making skills, information and guidance, emotional management, job search skills, and practical exposure. Some CGC services like one-to-one sessions, job fairs, career seminars were available but seldom utilized by undergraduates. This study has potential implications for students and career service providers regarding utilization, assessment, planning, and execution of career services in developing countries as well as future research in CGC.

This article examines the optimal control of a mathematical model of the spread of drug abuse. This model consists of five population classes, namely susceptible to using drugs (S), light-grade drugs (A), heavy-grade drugs (H), medicated drugs (T), and Recovery from drugs (R). The system is solved using the Pontryagin minimum principle and numerically by the forward-backward sweep method. Numerical simulations of the optimal problem show that with the implementation of anti-drug campaigns and strengthening of self-psychology through counseling, the spread of drug abuse can be eradicated more quickly. The implementation of campaigns and strengthening of self-psychology through large amounts of counseling needs to be done from the beginning then the proportion can be reduced until a certain time does not need to be given anymore. The use of control in the form of strengthening efforts to self-psychology through counseling means that it needs to be done in a longer time to prevent the spread of drug abuse.

This study aimed at identifying the cognitive and skills needs of young women getting married by monitoring the reality in the rehabilitation program of young women getting married. This study adopted the qualitative approach, which focuses on studying the phenomena, the individuals, communities, and institutions in various fields and describing them to reach a deeper understanding. The study used two methods to collect data and information from the research sample. The Focus group tool, which was used with a purposive sample of (21) young women getting married and who attended the qualification program of young women getting married. The other tool was interviews with the trainers. The researcher had individual interviews with all the seven trainers. The results of this study revealed that the most important knowledge according to trainers is the psychological knowledge and the medical knowledge. The results showed also that the most important skills required in this program from the trainer’s point of view were house management, grooming and personal care, and emotion control. The most important knowledge that has gained the favor of young women getting married in this program are psychological and medical knowledge. The most significant skills that young women getting married need are: the skill if dealing with the husband, the skill of emotion control, the skill of emotions management, the skill of planning, and the skill of problem solving. The study recommended using the rehabilitation programs with couples getting married and making such programs as a condition of the marriage contract. The study also recommended establishing a department in the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, which supervises the providers of pre-marriage counseling courses.

Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) has  decreased in recurrent cardiac events. However, information related the needs of cardiac rehabilitation patients such as exercise and physical activities counseling are very limited. This study aims to identify the needs of cardiac rehabilitation patients such as exercise, physical activity counselling, and the relationship between them. It also applied a quantitative approach combined with a descriptive correlational method. 38 cardiac rehabilitation patients were recruited as samples and were selected using the convenience sampling technique. Data collection was performed using questionnaires filled out by the respondents (with a retrospective technique) at the end of the CR program, and the results were evaluated through descriptive correlational statistics. The results revealed that patients with CR required exercise (92.1%) and nurses' counseling for physical activities (86.9%).  It also indicates that there is a statistically positive relationship between exercise and physical activities counseling among CR patients (r = 0.485, p < 0.01). Consequently, most CR patients desire nurses to take part in their exercise and physical activities. The needs of CR patients  on exercise and physical activity counseling were correlated positively. Therefore, information regarding exercise and physical activity for CR patients should be provided simultaneously to complement each other.

The youth in the 21st century are facing numerous issues that may affect their ability to do well and properly in school. Every student has strong needs and desires to reach some set goals but in this competitive era, their life is being complicated day by day and vastly affected by various mental health problems in schools, and many other educational, vocational, social, emotional, and behavioral problems among them in our country. One of the reasons for these problems is lack of guidance and counseling services in our schools. According to Şahin Kesici, “a student whose personal guidance and counseling need is satisfied can; establish harmonious relationship with friends and parents, knows his/herself, improve problem solving and communication skills. Besides, s/he can improve social skills, cope with test anxiety and make effective decisions” (Kesici, 2007, p. 1327). On the other hand, when the needs are not met, and a student’s functioning in school suffers for an extended period, the student may break away from school completely (DeSocio & Hootman, 2004). To overcome negative psychological aspects which affect the student’s life, the present research paper is an attempt to identify need assessment counseling for school adolescent students. Need assessment questionnaire (NAQ) constructed and developed by Dogar, Azeem, Majoka, Mehmood, and Latif (2011) which included different areas, i.e. educational, vocational, social, emotional and behavioral needs of students counseling was administered to a sample of 168 (84 male and 84 female) adolescent students of 10th class. The results of the present study indicated that the main effect of gender (male and female) branch of study (science and social science) and the interaction effect between branch of study (science and social sciences) and gender (male and female) were found significant on overall counseling needs. Whereas gender and branch (stream) of study differences were not found in the counseling domains (educational, vocational, social, emotional, and behavioral) areas of counseling needs.

This study examined the personal characteristics and counseling needs of high school seniors who were strongly committed to attending a 4-year university. The results of this comparison study revealed that prospective first-generation college students reported lower perceived academic ability and a higher need for counseling in academic planning and career preparation than prospective continuing-generation college students. Subsequent analysis for the first-generation group by race revealed significant group differences in the perceptions and needs of school counseling.
