VẤN ĐỀ TIẾP NHẬN TIỂU THUYẾT CỔ ĐIỂN TRUNG QUỐC TRÊN SÂN KHẤU CẢI LƯƠNG VIỆT NAM

Tiểu thuyết cổ điển Trung Quốc đã có những ảnh hưởng rất lớn trong đời sống văn học và nghệ thuật tại Việt Nam. Bài viết này chỉ ra các hình thức cơ bản trong việc tiếp nhận tiểu thuyết cổ điển Trung Quốc trên sân khấu cải lương Việt Nam. Cụ thể, việc tiếp nhận tiểu thuyết cổ điển Trung Quốc trên sân khấu cải lương Việt Nam được đặt trên các nền tảng như: sự giao lưu văn hóa; tái cắt nghĩa, tái cấu trúc tác phẩm... Việc tìm hiểu vấn đề tiếp nhận tiểu thuyết cổ điển Trung Quốc trên sân khấu cải lương Việt Nam sẽ giúp chúng ta có cái nhìn khách quan và khoa học về việc tiếp thu, sáng tạo cũng như nghiên cứu tiểu thuyết cổ điển Trung Quốc trên sân khấu cải lương Việt Nam.

BA BÀI DỤ CỦA NGƯỜI PHÁP TRONG BỘ SÁCH “AN NAM SƠ HỌC SỬ LƯỢC”

An Nam sơ học sử lược安南初学史略 là bộ thông sử viết bằng chữ Hán viết về lịch sử Việt Nam, được chính quyền Pháp đưa vào chương trình cải lương giáo dục lần thứ nhất trên đất An Nam với mục đích tạo nên bước quá độ từ nền giáo dục Hán học cũ sang nền giáo dục Pháp Việt khi người Pháp muốn xác lập chính sách cai trị lâu dài tại Đông Dương. Qua chương trình giáo dục này, mục đích sâu xa của chính quyền thực dân Pháp nhằm muốn tuyên truyền đường lối cai trị, truyền bá tư tưởng thực dân, khuếch trương sức mạnh khoa học, kỹ thuật, quân sự, kinh tế; mặt khác bọn họ lại tìm cách ru ngủ, mua chuộc chính quyền nhà Nguyễn và nhân dân yêu nước người Việt Nam chống lại sự xâm lược và nền đô hộ của họ. Những tư tưởng phản động đó được chính quyền Pháp khéo léo lồng ghép, truyền tải trong các trang sách giáo khoa lịch sử dùng để dạy cho các bậc học phổ thông trên đất nước ta. Quá trình nghiên cứu bộ sách An Nam sơ học sử lược trên đây, chúng tôi phát hiện ra những bài dụ do các ông trùm thực dân viết ra, nội dung đậm sự phản động với đủ các giọng điệu, khi thì dụ dỗ mua chuộc, khi thì dọa nạt dăn đe, có lúc lại hết lời ca ngợi, tán dương mối quan hệ Việt Pháp.

TRẦN ĐỨC THẢO VÀ KARL POPPER: NHỮNG KHÁC BIỆT TRONG CÁCH TIẾP CẬN CHỦ NGHĨA MÁC

Bài viết phân tích những khác biệt trong nghiên cứu chủ nghĩa Mác của hai nhà triết học nổi tiếng thế kỉ XX – Trần Đức Thảo và Karl Popper. Mặc dù có nhiều điểm tương đồng trong xuất thân và sự nghiệp nhưng nếu như Trần Đức Thảo chuyển từ lập trường duy tâm sang lập trường duy vật dưới sự ảnh hưởng của triết học Mác, trở thành nhà Mác-xít chân chính, kế thừa và phát triển chủ nghĩa Mác thì Karl Popper lại rời bỏ chủ nghĩa Mác và trở thành người phê phán chủ nghĩa này một cách cương quyết, bởi hai ông đã đứng trên hai lập trường khác nhau để tiếp cận chủ nghĩa Mác. Nếu Trần Đức Thảo đến với chủ nghĩa Mác với tư cách là người dân yêu nước của một nước thuộc địa nhằm tìm kiếm một hệ thống lí luận cách mạng giải phóng dân tộc thì K. Popper đã đứng trên lập trường dân chủ cải lương của công dân một nước tư bản để phê phán học thuyết này. Tuy nhiên, dù nghiên cứu chủ nghĩa Mác ở góc độ nào thì cả Karl Popper và Trần Đức Thảo đều là những nhà khoa học “tư duy không biết mệt”, say mê nghiên cứu với một tinh thần phản biện chân chính.

Intersemiotic Translation in Adaptation: The Case Study of the Adaptation of Narrative Poem The Tale of Kiều (Nguyễn Du) to Cải lương Film Kim Vân Kiều (Nguyễn Bạch Tuyết)

We are living in the age of adaptation. In contemporary art, the power of adaptation is evidenced by the fact that a textual semiotic system is continuously passing through the different genres and means to establish new texts. Adaptation is also an intercultural translation as each work adapted experiences a cultural shift so as to adapt to the target culture. Although The Tale of Kieu (Nguyen Du) made use of the plot of Kim Van Kieu, written as the pseudonym Qingxin Cairen (青心才人, Pure Heart Talented Man), in the Vietnamese artistic context, the tale can be considered as the “original text” that provides superabundant materials for other adaptations. The Tale of Kieu is one of the Nom poetries that has been most adapted to other art forms, particularly “cải lương” (reformed theatre). In this study, we analyze the case of video-cải lương Kim Van Kieu (directed by Nguyen Bach Tuyet), to determine modes of semiotic transposition from the narrative (narrative poem) to the performance/showing (video cải lương). This inter-semiotic translation process requires that the author adapts, selects, renounces, transforms as well as encodes/decodes, as semiotics, genre, and materials belonging to the verbal semiotic system to the nonverbal semiotic system, or vice versa. To concretize this, we analyze factors that were involved or omited during the adaptation of The Tale of Kieu to Kim Van Kieu.

SOUTHERN CAI LUONG: CURRENT SITUATION AND ORIENTATION TO PROMOTION OF ITS VALUES OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

Cai Luong is a unique stage art of Southern Vietnam and original cultural and artistic product of the nation. Over 100 years of existence and development, today’s Cai Luong is a new trend in the era of international integration. Within the scope of this paper, the writer analyses and evaluates this type of art based on data collected and recorded during the field trips in the Southern Vietnam region (since 2014 up to present). This research finding reflects the real life of Cai Luong in the South and proposes the solutions. Specifically, from difficulties and challenges identified by the authors, directors, audiences of Cai Luong, this paper proposes the practical solutions in two aspects: cultural and artistic management and application of interdisciplinary studies into subjects such as Literature, Cultural studies and Arts studies toward preserving and developing the values of cultural heritage of the Cai Luong stage in the contemporary context.

Psychological contract and knowledge sharing

Purpose – The survival and sustainable growth of Cai Luong (Renovated Theatre) theatre companies as well as Cai Luong theatrical art in Vietnam necessitate the sharing of acting and singing skills between generations of actors. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of theatre members’ perception of psychological contract in predicting their sharing of knowledge. Another research purpose is to assess if corporate social responsibility (CSR) of theatre companies can activate the effect chain through psychological contract to knowledge sharing. The last research purpose sheds light on the moderating role of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) for the relationship between psychological contract and knowledge sharing among members of Cai Luong theatre companies in Vietnam setting. Design/methodology/approach – Cross-sectional data for SEM-based analysis was collated from 226 respondents of Cai Luong theatre companies in Vietnam. Findings – Research results unveil the predicting role that CSR played on the relationship between psychological contract and knowledge sharing among members in Cai Luong theatre companies. This relationship was also found to be moderated by EO. Originality/value – Research results extend knowledge management literature through the inclusion of CSR and psychological contract as antecedents of knowledge sharing.

From corporate social responsibility, through entrepreneurial orientation, to knowledge sharing

Purpose – This paper aims to examine the role of antecedents such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) and entrepreneurial orientation in the chain effect to knowledge sharing among members of Cai Luong theatre companies in the Vietnamese context. Knowledge sharing contributes to the depth of the knowledge pool of both the individuals and the organization. Design/methodology/approach – The relationships among the constructs in the research model were established through structural equation modelling (SEM)-based analysis of cross-sectional data from 226 respondents of Cai Luong theatre companies in Vietnam. Findings – From research findings emerged the empirical proof for the positive effect of CSR on entrepreneurial orientation, which, in turn, contributes to the sharing of knowledge among theatre members. Originality/value – Research findings increase the breadth of knowledge management literature through the role of CSR and entrepreneurial orientation as activators of knowledge sharing.
