This article proposes a novel binary version of recently developed Gaining-Sharing knowledge-based optimization algorithm (GSK) to solve binary optimization problems is proposed. GSK algorithm is based on the concept of how humans acquire and share knowledge during their life span. Discrete Binary version of GSK named novel binary Gaining Sharing knowledge-based optimization algorithm (DBGSK) depends on mainly two binary stages: binary junior gaining sharing stage and binary senior gaining sharing stage with knowledge factor 1. These two stages enable DBGSK for exploring and exploitation of the search space efficiently and effectively to solve problems in binary space. An improved scheduling of the technical counselling process for utilization of the electricity from solar energy power stations is introduced. The scheduling aims at achieving the best utilization of the available day time for the counselling group,n this regard,a new application problem is presented, which is called a Travelling Counselling Problem (TCP).A Nonlinear Binary Model is introduced with a real application

AbstractThe so-called Ramsey–Carnap approach, or Ramseyfication, has gone out of fashion in the philosophy of science. Advocates have tried to argue for a revival by writing methodological and metatheoretical studies of Ramseyfication. For this paper I have chosen a different approach; I will apply Ramseyfication to infrared spectroscopy—a method used in analytical chemistry—in order to logically analyse the relation between measurements and mathematical structures. My aim in doing so is to contribute to the debate about the Application Problem of Mathematics, thereby making a case for Ramseyfication as a method of study for scientific theories.

For image registration, feature detection and description are critical steps that identify the keypoints and describe them for the subsequent matching to estimate the geometric transformation parameters between two images. Recently, there has been a large increase in the research methods of detection operators and description operators, from traditional methods to deep learning methods. To solve the problem, that is, which operator is suitable for specific application problems under different imaging conditions, the paper systematically reviewed commonly used descriptors and detectors from artificial methods to deep learning methods, and the corresponding principle, analysis, and comparative experiments are given as well. We introduce the handcrafted detectors including FAST, BRISK, ORB, SURF, SIFT, and KAZE and the handcrafted descriptors including BRISK, FREAK, BRIEF, SURF, ORB, SIFT, KAZE. At the same time, we review detectors based on deep learning technology including DetNet, TILDE, LIFT, multiscale detector, SuperPoint, and descriptors based on deep learning including pretrained descriptor, Siamese descriptor, LIFT, triplet network, and SuperPoint. Two group of comparison experiments are compared comprehensively and objectively on representative datasets. Finally, we concluded with insightful discussions and conclusions of descriptor and detector selection for specific application problem and hope this survey can be a reference for researchers and engineers in image registration and related fields.

PNT (positioning, navigation, and timing) is the core functional part of kinds of wireless sensor network, which can provide high-precision timing and positioning services for cooperative work systems. Unfortunately, the mature wireless PNT schemes are generally based on GNSS and other auxiliary sources to complete the high accuracy synchronization process, which cannot be applied to GNSS degraded and denied environments such as mines, underground application. In order to solve the application problem of high-precision wireless PNT, Hybsync—a novel non-GNSS-aided wireless PNT architecture, is proposed in this paper, which integrates the information from the UWB communication, inertial sensor, and camera to achieve great PNT performance. Hybsync improves the accuracy of time deviation measurement by collecting and recording timestamps in hardware layer, and with the coarse/fine synchronization two-phase calibration, Hybsync greatly improves the accuracy of time deviation adjustment, thus providing accurate time information for the whole system. Besides, Hybsync uses the VINS framework to further integrate the real-time information of IMU and camera to complete the multinode positioning service. Under the premise that the cost is much lower than existing solutions, Hybsync can provide nanosecond-level clock synchronization and centimeter-level positioning. Experiments prove that Hybsync supports high-precision clock synchronization and positioning of more than 10 nodes; the maximum clock synchronization error is 3 ns, and the positioning error is 7 cm. It can provide accurate time and position services for cooperative work systems under complex and GNSS-denied conditions.

The notion of fuzzy set is introduced to deal with uncertainty, whereas the conventional sets are used for certainty. The extensions of fuzzy set theory such as intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) and Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PyFS) were introduced to overcome drawbacks in fuzzy theory. Fuzzy graph structure is used to deal with the uncertainty in a network and describe its relation on the nonempty vertex set. One of the extensions of intuitionistic fuzzy digraph (IFDG) is Pythagorean fuzzy digraph (PyFDG). IFDG cannot handle if the sum of degree of acceptance and degree of rejection for an arc weight exceeds 1. So, we introduced PyFDG to overcome the limitations in IFDG and it deals with the imprecise arc weight involving degree of acceptance and degree of rejection. Pythagorean fuzzy digraph (PyFDG) and its basic operations and score function of PyFDG are defined in this paper. Algorithm is proposed to solve application problem in healthcare center.

This study aims to describe the ability of mathematical literacy in solving mathematical problems in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Woha. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Woha in the 2020/2021 academic year and the selection of subjects was based on the level of students' mathematical abilities. The research instrument used was a matter of students' mathematical literacy skills in solving mathematical problems. Data collection techniques were carried out by tests and interviews. The results obtained from students with high categories are able to carry out several stages of the student literacy process in solving mathematical problems well in the section formulating, applying concepts, facts, procedures, and reasoning but in the problem section, application, problem finding and drawing conclusions students have not maximum work and explain when to interview

The article is devoted to the problem of multi-criteria decision-making. Methods for solving this problem can be divided into two large groups:methods using the aggregation of all alternatives according to all criteria and the solution of the resulting single-criterion problem. The second group isassociated with the procedure of pairwise comparisons and stepwise aggregation. The first group includes methods: weighted average sum, product and their various modifications, the second group includes - AHP, ELECTRE, TOPSIS, PROMETHEE, ELECTRE. For many problemsassessment of the criteria implemented by experts and presented in linguistic form. The effective approach for dealing with linguistic information is fuzzyset theory proposed by L. Zadeh. In this paper is proposed fuzzy ELECTRE method. This method is presented in details. As application problem is usedthe equipment selection problem The issues of practical implementation of this method are discussed in details. The results of the solution test problem at all stages are presented.

The bionic cilium MEMS vector hydrophone has the characteristics of low power consumption, small volume, and good low-frequency response. Nevertheless, there exists the problem of left–right ambiguity in the azimuth estimation of a single hydrophone. In order to solve the engineering application problem, a sound-pressure sound-pressure-gradient hydrophone is designed in this paper. The new composite hydrophone consists of two channels. The bionic cilium microstructure is optimized and used as the vector channel, to collect the sound pressure gradient information, and a scalar channel, based on a piezoelectric ceramic tube, is added, to receive the sound pressure information. The theoretical analysis, simulation analysis, and test analysis of the composite hydrophone are carried out, respectively. The test results show that the sensitivities of the hydrophone can reach up to −188 dB (vector channel) and −204 dB (scalar channel). The problem of left–right ambiguity is solved by combining the sound pressure and sound pressure gradient in different ways. This is of great significance in the engineering application of single cilium MEMS hydrophone orientation.
