In this work, we obtain an area proficient composite field arithmetic Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Substitution (S) byte and its inverse logic design. The size of this design is calculated by the number of gates used for hardware implementation. Most of the existing AES Substitution box hardware implementation uses separate Substitution byte and its inverse hardware structures. But we implement the both in the same module and a control signal is used to select the substitution byte for encryption operation and its inverse for the decryption operation. By comparing the gate utilization of the previous AES S–Box implementation, we reduced the gate utilization up to 5% that is we take only 78 EX-OR gates and 36 AND gates for implementing the both Substitution byte and its inverse. While implementing an AES algorithm in circuitry or programming, it is liable to be detected by hackers using any one of the side channel attacks. Data to be added with a random bit sequence to prevent from the above mentioned side channel attacks.

AbstractWe derive the junction conditions for a general spherically symmetric radiating star with an electromagnetic field across a comoving surface. The interior consists of a charged composite field containing barotropic matter, a null dust and a null string fluid. The exterior atmosphere is described by the generalised Vaidya spacetime. We generate the boundary condition at the stellar surface showing that the pressure is determined by the interior heat flux, anisotropy, null density, charge distribution and the exterior null string density. A new physical feature that arises in our analysis is that the surface pressure depends on the internal charge distribution for generalised Vaidya spacetimes. It is only in the special case of charged Vaidya spacetimes that the matching interior charge distribution is equal to the exterior charge at the surface as measured by an external observer. Previous treatments, for neutral matter and charged matter, arise as special cases in our treatment of composite matter.

Abstract This paper proposed a new method of high-speed electrical discharge machining (EDM) using rotating short arcs under composite field. By the Lorentz force, the electric force and the high-speed rotation of the tool electrode, rotating short arcs are generated between the tool electrode and the workpiece, which can greatly improve the material removal rate of difficult-to-cut materials such as titanium alloys and superalloys. Firstly, the machining equipment used to generate rotating short arcs was constructed. Secondly, single arc discharge experiment was carried out to investigate the motion characteristics of rotating short arcs. The result shows that the arcs can rotate between the tool electrode and workpiece under composite field. Then, the experiment of processing GH4169 was conducted to explore the machining characteristics of rotating short arcs milling, which indicated that rotating short arcs can achieve a much higher material removal rate (MRR). Additionally, it’s found that the magnetic field also has influence on debris, which is beneficial to debris removal. Finally, a comparative experiment was carried out. The MRR of rotating short arcs milling was three times than that of traditional EDM, and the tool electrode wear rate (TEWR) is only one-fifth of that of traditional EDM. The comparative experiment further verified that rotating short arcs milling can achieve higher MRR and lower TEWR.

In the first part of this note, we observe that a non-Riemannian piece in the affine connection (a “dark connection”) leads to an algebraically determined, conserved, symmetric 2-tensor in the Einstein field equations that is a natural dark matter candidate. The only other effect it has, is through its coupling to standard model fermions via covariant derivatives. If the local dark matter density is the result of a background classical dark connection, these Yukawa-like mass corrections are minuscule ([Formula: see text] for terrestrial fermions) and none of the tests of general relativity or the equivalence principle are affected. In the second part of the note, we give dynamics to the dark connection and show how it can be re-interpreted in terms of conventional dark matter particles. The simplest way to do this is to treat it as a composite field involving scalars or vectors. The (pseudo-)scalar model naturally has a perturbative shift-symmetry and leads to versions of the Fuzzy Dark Matter (FDM) scenario that has recently become popular (e.g. arXiv:1610.08297) as an alternative to WIMPs. A vector model with a [Formula: see text]-parity falls into the Planckian Interacting Dark Matter (PIDM) paradigm, introduced in arXiv:1511.03278. It is possible to construct versions of these theories that yield the correct relic density, fit with inflation and are falsifiable in the next round of CMB experiments. Our work is an explicit demonstration that the meaningful distinction is not between gravity modification and dark matter, but between theories with extra fields and those without.

TThe area of harvested shallots in Brebes is 60.82% of the total harvested area in Central Java Province. Production of shallots in 2018 reached 10,519,484 quintals. Pesantunan Village, Wanasari District, has a high productivity of 121.544 quintals/Ha and Bangsri Village has a productivity of 98.28 quintals/Ha. The abundant potential of onions also has an impact on the abundant onion waste, so that the potential for this onion waste will be made a composite as the embodiment of the Innovation Village. The purpose of this community service activity is to create a Technology Innovation Village to community groups in Pesantunan and Bangsri Villages regarding the use of onion waste into a composite. The method offered is divided into two, namely Soft Program and Hard Program. The result of the composite technology innovation village program, number of participants in the Pesantunan Village was 25 from the "Santun Asri" community group and 15 people in the Bangsri Village from the "Bumdes" membership. Participants were provided with a soft program including waste management and technology innovation villages in the composite field. Participants were also provided with a Hard Program, is practicing making composites with waste onions

Purpose: This paper presents a comprehensive review of nanocellulose and its application in several applications, including composites, biomedical, and food packaging fields. Design/methodology/approach: General explanations about cellulose and nanocellulose have been described. Different types of nanocellulose (cellulose nanofibers, cellulose nanocrystals, bacterial nanocellulose) as well as their isolation processes (mechanical process, chemical process) have been reviewed. Several surface modifications have been explained to improve the dispersion of nanocellulose in non-polar polymers. The possible utilization of nanocellulose in composites, biomedical, and food packaging fields have also been analysed. Findings: This review presents three application fields at once, namely composites, biomedical, and food packaging fields. In the composite field, nanocellulose can be used as a reinforcing agent which increases the mehcnical properties such as tensile strength and toughness, and thermal stability of the final composites. In the biomedical field, nanocellulose is reinforced into hydrogel or composites which will be produced as tissue scaffolding, wound dressing, etc. It is found that the addition of nanocellulose can extend and control the drug release. While in the packaging field, nanocellulose is added into a biopolymer to improve the barrier properties and decrease the water and oxygen vapor transmission rates. Research limitations/implications: Nanocellulose has a hydrophilic nature, thus making it agglomerated and difficult to disperse in most non-polar polymers. Therefore, certain surface modification of nanocellulose are required prior to the preparation of composites or hydrogels.Practical implications: Further research regarding the toxicity of nanocellulose needs to be investigated, especially when applying it in the biomedical and food packaging fields. Originality/value: This review presents three application fields at once, namely composites, biomedical, and food packaging fields.

Abstract The $$ \mathrm{T}\overline{\mathrm{T}} $$ T T ¯ -deformed classical Lagrangian of a 2D Lorentz invariant theory can be derived from the original one, perturbed only at first order by the bare $$ \mathrm{T}\overline{\mathrm{T}} $$ T T ¯ composite field, through a field-dependent change of coordinates. Considering, as an example, the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) model with generic potential, we apply this idea to non-relativistic models. The form of the deformed Lagrangian contains a square-root and is similar but different from that for relativistic bosons. We study the deformed bright, grey and Peregrine’s soliton solutions. Contrary to naive expectations, the $$ \mathrm{T}\overline{\mathrm{T}} $$ T T ¯ -perturbation of nonlinear Schrödinger NLS with quartic potential does not trivially emerge from a standard non-relativistic limit of the deformed sinh-Gordon field theory. The c → ∞ outcome corresponds to a different type of irrelevant deformation. We derive the corresponding Poisson bracket structure, the equations of motion and discuss various interesting aspects of this alternative type of perturbation, including links with the recent literature.

The synthetic electric field of an ultrahigh voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission tower in a high-altitude area is complex, which makes it difficult to protect the tower operators. Therefore, it is necessary to study the synthetic electric field. Firstly, this study establishes a mathematical model of the ion flow field and determines the solution process. Secondly, the relationship between the synthesis field of the transmission line and the ion mobility, wind speed, and the number of wire splits is analyzed using finite element simulations. Five typical operation positions are then selected for the simulation calculation of the composite field. Finally, the field measurement of the composite field is carried out, and the measurement results are compared with the simulation results. The accuracy of the simulation and theoretical analysis is verified by comparative analysis.
