The vocabulary and phraseology are considered from the standpoint of embodying the idea of identity in them. The relevance of the study is due to the need to assess the dynamics of the vocabulary of the language. It is shown that the idea of identity is verbalized in the nominations of a person according to belonging to a certain social community, which has professional status, generational, class and other characteristics. It is noticed that new phraseological units appear in the language in open groups. The novelty of the research lies in the identification of new phraseological groups, which can be partially or completely subject to lexicography. It is noted that online communication has greatly increased attention to the words group, community and the idea of a publicly represented identity. It is shown that the analytical attitude of modern media has led to an orientation towards reflection and the construction of expert assessments in the form of bright, memorable idioms, the creative class, sofa fighters, etc. The intensification of the processes of the language game is shown by the example of expressions with the word collars, releasing a color code (white, gold, platinum collars, etc.). The Internet is said to have provided opportunities to show multiplying identities. The “fourth wave of words” (after the gangster, professional, glamorous) is proposed to be considered the youth, which is formed in Internet communication and expresses the desire of this age category (youth) to know themselves, their values, belonging, purpose and place in the world.

Having ascertained that the ecosystem service paradigm is a scientific rather than a “natural” one, the text criticizes the purely analytical attitude with which it is usually used; such an attitude, together with the dominance of a purely economic evaluation, is hiding the risk of a real commodification of nature. This highlights the need to progress towards the use of the ecosystem service instrument within a transformative design framework, aiming at social equity, and which adopts an inclusive evaluation system of the local actors.

SummaryThe article attempts to familiarise the reader with the memoirs of teachers compiled as a result of the third edition of the National Competition for memoirs and other autobiographical statements under the title “Teacher’s message: Generations of Polish Teachers for the Future” (2014–2016). In the light of the preliminary analysis of the texts submitted, an outline emerges of the mission that teachers would see for themselves, for their successors, and for education of the 21st century. It is something significant: the mission of protecting humanity for future generations, for preserving the world, for the survival of spiritual values confronted with consumerism, cybertechnology, and scientific progress on the basis of genetics, computer science, etc. Education appears in the light of these diaries as a space and a way to reinforce humanity, which is threatened from different sides. There are two approaches here, two concepts of education and training, and of the teacher’s role in this work, the more conservative and the more liberal. In general, it is a question of rational citizenship, the rational use of subjectivity and autonomy, which is similar to M. Nussbaum’s concept of remedying the citizenship crisis. This mission of education requires reflective, subjective and autonomous teachers, using discursive reflexivity (thinking about their own thinking), with an analytical attitude, respecting the requirement of interdependence, understanding the contemporary world, themselves and others. In turn, what this requires from teachers is deep knowledge, thorough education, a high level of culture, and humanistic, subjective and reflective changes in their education and professional development.

Abstract Johann Wolfgang Goethe’s Torquato Tasso (1790) and Henry James’s Roderick Hudson (1875) share not only a number of structural parallels but also an interest in the fate of the romantic artist in a regulated society. The article suggests Goethe’s play as a possible influence on James’s novel. After a brief outline of James’s relationship to Goethe and of the structural parallels between the texts, the article discusses the similarities of their stance on the romantic artist. Both texts contrast the protagonist’s classicist-idealist art with his broadly romantic personality, both remain ambivalent about the romantic conception of the poet-genius, and both take an analytical attitude toward their artist figures. On this poetological level, the article concludes, their portraits of a proto-Romantic and a late Romantic respectively form a revealing historical frame of the phenomenon of the Romantic artist.

Expediency is one of the titles which have important statuses in the Islamic jurisprudence and its association with religious decrees is clarified while determining its concept and it specifies the authorities of the prudent leader. Expedient (Maslahat) in the view of Islam is defined as to do anything for the sake of material and spiritual benefit of the individual and society. Islamic religions do believe that Expedient (Maslahat) plays an essential role in the interpretation of the law, but there is some disagreement over its scope. Most jurisprudents consider expediency to be effective in divine rules when it is based on the expedients, and its purpose is to achieve expedients that can changed as according to the requirements of time and place. Examining and implementing this in the affairs of society is one of the duties that the Islamic ruler should observe. Therefore, it is necessary that the ruler considers the expedient in community management and use it as a key to solving problems and removing the obstacles. The present research project tries to examine the role of expedient in implementing the provincial leadership and seeks to answer the following questions: What is the relationship between the community leadership and the welfare state? How can the Islamic ruler utilize this rule? Another purpose is to explain this relationship as a solution and a key to solve the problems of the society including the conflict of the rules, which mainly deals with the jurisprudential texts in a qualitative way with an analytical attitude. Various research on leadership and expediency has been done separately, but it seems that the link between these two has not been mentioned yet. So, it seems necessary to carry out a new research on this issue to answer the questions raised in relation to these two categories.

Phenomenology of Perception is one of the main philosophical works of a France phenomenological philosopher, Maurice Merleau-Ponty. In this book, Merleau-Ponty elaborates his reflection on the nature of the body based on the perception of the world. In “Sense Experience,” which is part of Phenomenology of Perception, explains the bodily experience and its relation to human’s mode of being in the world. This part is important to look upon, for it serves as the basis for Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenological thought on perception. In “Sense Experience”, while affirming his critique on empiricism and intellectualism, Merleau-Ponty also reflects the meaning of sense experience, the unity of the sense, the analytical attitude, the nature of the body, and the ambiguity of sense experience itself. Two key ideas surface from “Sense Experience,” that is, sense experience with and through the body, and bodily experience with and through the world. One might speak of the world, yet one is part of it. It is the body that allows such ambiguity.

A higher-order perturbation theory for the rotation of a uniaxial satellite under gravity-gradient torque demonstrates that known special configurations of the attitude dynamics at which the satellite rotates, on average, as in a torque-free state, are only the result of an early truncation of the secular frequencies of motion. In addition to providing a deeper insight into the dynamics, the higher order of the analytical solution makes it competitive when compared with the long-term numerical integration of the equations of motion.
