Introduction: Hospital employee performance as the spearhead of health services is a very important issue to be studied in order to maintain and improve the quality of health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between leadership style, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance at the pathology installation of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in 2019. Methods: Using quantitative research with Cross Sectional approach. The sample uses a total sampling of 40 respondents. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire. Results: Relationship between work discipline factors (Pvalue = 0.027; OR = 5,844) and compensation factors (P value = 0,018; OR = 7,111) with employee performance in the anatomical pathology installation of Gatot Soebroto Hospital in 2019. While the leadership style factor (P value = 0,800) does not relate. Discussion: Two of the three variables studied were related to employee performance, namely: work discipline and compensation. While one other variable, namely leadership style is not related to employee performance.

All students, regardless of socioeconomic status, deserve equitable access to universities. However, many high-achieving students are excluded from this privilege, most of whom come disproportionately from families on the lower rungs of the socioeconomic ladder. This study aims to identify the barriers that influence high achievers from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds to pursue higher education. A total of ten relevant articles from prominent publication databases were chosen for this review. The results show that the majority of researchers believe that parents' negative attitudes, parents' low expectations, first-in-family, vogue career identity, financial factor, and thinking style factor are the primary impediments to high achievers from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds attending university. The results also enable university career counsellors to assist high achievers from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds to overcome any obstacles to effectively join universities and fulfil their educational goals.

Objective: To explore the distribution of general and particular levels of empathy among the different family functioning styles of medical students of the University of Azuay in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. Materials and methods: Exploratory and cross-sectional study. Student empathy levels were measured through the Jefferson Medical Empathy Scale, S-version in Spanish and family functioning through the Family Functioning Scale Faces-20 in a sample of 278 medical students. The comparison of data was carried out by means of analysis of bifactorial variance model III. The level of significance used was α≤ 0.05 and 1- β ≤ 0.20. Results: The analysis of the general empathy variance was significant (p <0.05) for the family functioning style factor. The results on the dimensions of empathy:” Take on perspective” and “Ability to understand the situation of the other” were significant (p = 0.035; p = 0.044) for the family functioning style factor. Regarding the “Care with compassion” dimension, no significant differences were observed (p> 0.05). On the other hand, it was found that extreme family functioning styles have empathy values greater than the intermediate style, with significant differences between them (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the type of family functioning and empathy. Extreme family functioning style have higher empathy values than intermedium families. Regarding the gender factor, these differences were not presented.

This research aims to determine which styles are applied to manage and handle conflict and whether conflict management has an effect on job satisfaction and in public sector. The research was conducted in December 2017 in the government public sector of Indonesia. The data in this research was collected by using questionnaire. The questionnaire used ROCI-II (integrating, avoiding, obliging, dominating, compromising style) instruments for conflict management and JSS Paul Spector on job satisfaction. The results of this study showed that government public sector workers used collaborative conflict management style (integrating style) in conflict management and handling. Conflict management has 5 conflict management styles, from the 5 factors, only 2 factors are formed, namely factor 1 and 2. Factor 1 includes the style of collaboration (integrating style), accommodation (obliging style), and compromise (compromising style). Factor 2 includes dominating style and avoidance (avoiding style). Keywords: Conflict management, Conflict management style, Job Satisfaction.

Compared with traditional image captioning technology, stylized image captioning has broader application scenarios, such as a better understanding of images. However, stylized image captioning faces many challenges, the most important of which is how to make the model take into account both the image meta information and the style factor of the generated captions. In this paper, we propose a novel end-to-end stylized image captioning framework (ST-BR). Specifically, we first use a style transformer to model the factual information of images, and the style attention module learns style factor form a multi-style corpus, it is a symmetric structure on the whole. At the same time, we use back-reinforcement to evaluate the degree of consistency between the generated stylized captions with the image knowledge and specified style, respectively. These two parts further enhance the learning ability of the model through adversarial learning. Our experiment has achieved effective performance on the benchmark dataset.
